GreedFall - How To Advance Your Quest Steps, Fix A “Broken” Quest

One thing that GreedFall is quite good at is giving you multiple ways to achieve your goals. While on a quest, you might discover various ways to get past a step. However, this can lead to some issues. A good example is any quest where you need to find a specific key. If you have a high enough lockpicking skill, you can skip the step by picking the lock and advancing the quest that way. The issue is that by doing so, you might think that the quest is stuck because the quest step does not advance past the point where it tells you to find the key.

GreedFall - How To Advance Your Quest Steps In The Journal

Advance Quest Step In Journal

The good news here is that the developers, Spiders, have a little system in place to help you deal with this. If you get to the point where you have advanced in a quest by completing one of the steps in a way that does not trigger the success parameters of that step, such as finding a specific key, go to the quest in your journal and look at the list of options at the bottom of the screen. There's a prompt for a button to hit (this will vary by platform and control method) to advance to the next step in your journal. This prompt is called “Change The Follow-up.”

At times it might feel like a quest is breaking, so just be sure you have not completed one of the steps in an unusual way that didn’t advance the tracker in the journal, and if you did, just use the prompted button to get the track to proceed to the step you are currently on.

This mechanic is fundamental. Only when the tracker is on the right step, do you get the proper in-game directions to find the location of the next phase of the quest.

There are some more significant “Find All The Items” quests in the game, and this can also be quite useful. It allows you to change the active quest step to coincide with the area of the game that you are currently at.

GreedFall - How To Manage Your Party

GreedFall - How To Manage Your Party

Party management is an essential aspect of GreedFall. You have a choice of companions that you will gather up as you play the game. Each companion has their abilities and strengths, loyalties, and desires.

It is a good idea to juggle which members are in your party depending on what your current mission. You want to be sure you are helping your companions with their own goals, too.

GreedFall - How To Manage Your Party

How To Manage Your Party

To manage your party, you need to be in your residence, or at a camp. By approaching the campfire icon, you will see the option to gather your companions. Click the prompted button, and all your available companions will line up. Walk to one of them hit the prompted button to compose your team.

From this screen, you can switch which members are in your party. You can only have a maximum of two of them in your party at any one time. It usually helps to have a member from whichever group you are interacting with a lot. If you plan on visiting the natives, Siora is an excellent person to bring, as she might smooth the way for you a bit with the natives of Teer Fradee.

You want to have as much variety in your party's fighting style as you can, so a mix of magic users, gun wielders, and people with giant swords is usually a safe bet.

You also need to have a companion in your party for specific missions. Pay close attention to the various cutscenes and dialogue options in-game so that you can make the best possible choice.

It is possible to give members of your party new equipment as well. To do this, go to your inventory and hit left or right on the D-pad to switch between party members. It is possible to give your party members new armor items, and some of them can be given new weapons as well.

Finally, you can speak to your party members at any time by walking close to them and hitting the prompted button. This activity is important, as your party members might have important things to say that you may have forgotten to discuss with them.

GreedFall - How To Craft Items, Potions, Ammo And Other Consumables

Most items, potions, and ammo in GreedFall fall in the category of consumables. You can purchase them from a merchant or vendor in the game, or you can craft them yourself if you have the correct ability.

GreedFall - How To Craft Items, Potions, And Ammo

GreedFall How To Craft Consumables

Crafting items, potions, and ammo in GreedFall require the Science Talent. There are three tiers of consumables, and each talent level in Science that you purchase gives you access to a new tier of potions.

There is another advantage of the Science talent, as it will also allow you to use explosives to break through weak parts of walls, which can be very advantageous in some areas and missions.

For people who wish to use Firearms, Science is a vital talent so you can create your ammo. But you need to get to Science level two to do this. At science level one, you can make health potions, which are essential no matter what variety of character you are playing.

To craft consumables, you need to find a Workbench. You can find these in towns, and you always have one at any camp you set up or your residences in the various cities. Just head for the workbench and interact with it, then navigate to the consumables tab. Scroll down to the item you wish to craft and make sure you have the required science level and ingredients. If you do, you can craft the particular item.

To ensure you always have plenty of resources for crafting, be sure to interact with any glowing items that you see in the world. You can find resources in trees, crates, various bushes, chests, and on the corpses of monsters and creatures that you kill.

GreedFall - How Skills, Attributes, And Talents Work, and How To Increase Them

GreedFall - How Skills, Attributes, And Talents Work, and How To Increase Them

In GreedFall, your character gets defined by their selection of Skills, Attributes, and Talents. These dictate their abilities and how they can interact with the world around them.

GreedFall - How Skills, Attributes, And Talents Work, and How To Increase Them

The first thing to understand is that leveling up does not mean you can increase one of your Skill, Attribute, and Talent trees. Instead, upgrades to these stats come in more staggered deliveries.

If you open up the Character Development screen, you can see your Skills trees, and you can navigate to see the Attributes and Talents trees. Beside each one there's a counter showing your current available unspent points, your total spent points and the Level you receive your next point. They line up all for that particular tree. If you even want to know what's coming up next check that part of the menu.

Skills

Skills

Skills dictate which weapons you can use, provides a bonus to certain aspects of the weapons (damage amount, armor stripping, stunning, etc.), or opens up the ability to do things like apply magical or poisonous potions to your weapons. To plan your build, scroll over each node to see what benefits you're going to receive.

For example, if you wish to use Two-Handed Heavy Weapons, you need to start with One-Handed Heavy Weapons and purchase all the nodes between it to the Two-Handed Heavy Weapons node. Only then can equip Two-Handed Heavy Weapons and begin using them.

When you are out in the world exploring, you should keep an eye open for Skill Altars — discovering these give you a free Skill Point. From a distance, they appear on the map as question marks, but when you get closer, you can see if they are Skill Altars or some other point of interest.

Attributes

Attributes

Attributes can be considered to be the mental and physical abilities of your character. Things like how strong they are (Strength), their hit points (Endurance), how light they are on their feet (Agility). Each one ties to a particular type of item or weapon. You need the highest score in these Attributes to wield the best items and weapons in that class.

  • Strength - Best one-handed and two-handed blunt weapons.
  • Endurance - best heavy armors.
  • Agility - best one-handed and two-handed swords.
  • Accuracy - best firearms.
  • Metal Power - best rings.
  • Willpower - best amulets and necklaces.

You might be able to use some types of weapons and armor based on the Skills you purchase. However, to use the best ones in those classes, you need to sink some Attribute points into those relevant areas.

Talents

GreedFall Talents

Talents dictate your ability to craft, take part in diplomatic conversations, and other similar areas.

  • Charisma - reduces cost with merchants and opens up potential dialogue options with NPCs. The higher your Charisma level, the better your chances of success with these dialogue choices.
  • Science - allows you to break damaged walls, and craft consumables. The higher the level, the higher the tier of consumable you can craft.
  • Vigor - this will allow you to make difficult jumping or climbing routes that you otherwise would not be able to traverse.
  • Lockpicking - self-explanatory, allows you to pick locks and is worth having early in the game.
  • Craftsmanship - allows you to craft armor and weapon upgrades.
  • Intuition - unlocks unique dialogue options that are often extremely useful during the missions.

Talents are interesting because you can use certain pieces of armor to give yourself a little boost in a specific area. A pair of gloves might provide a +1 buff to your Craftsmanship, or a torso piece might give you an increase to Lockpicking. It is worth holding onto pieces that do this, as you never know when they might prove useful.

One useful hint here for the start of the game. Your companion Kurt will have a piece of Torso Armor that will give +1 Lockpicking. It is a good idea to switch armor with him if you can, because there are a lot of locked chests you will then be able to open in Serene.

GreedFall - Demoniacal Cult Quest - Stones Puzzle Order

As you play through GreedFall, you will come to the Demoniacal Cult mission, where you explore rumors of a wicked cult having taken root among one of the villages on the island. You need to carefully investigate the mystery to get to the bottom of it. Eventually, you will come to a part where you need to follow one of the villagers to find out what he is up to. As you follow him through the woods, you arrive at an ancient tree that forces images into your character’s mind. That character describes what he sees, and the imagery contained within them act as clues regarding what candles to light at the various stones.

Around you is a circle of stones, and the only way to progress is to light the candles at the right stones. You need to light them in the correct order to open the path beneath the tree.

GreedFall - Demoniacal Cult Mission - Stones Puzzle Order

Before you start, go around the circle of stones and examine each one so that you know what each one means. Once this happens, light the candles in the following order, and make sure you don’t interact with the wrong stones.  If you want to, you can interact with one of your companies to have your character retell the images he saw, or you can light the candles listed in the order below:

  • Wind
  • Lightning
  • Fire
  • Death
  • Water
  • Life

Once you have lit the candles on the correct stones, the door will open, and you will be able to venture into the tunnel and continue your quest. Just follow the path down into the cave, and you will come to the next part of the journey.

Once you finish this section, the quest ends. However, it starts up a new quest connected to it.

GreedFall - Face To Face With The Demon - Drums Puzzle Guide

In the Face to Face With The Demon in quest GreedFall, you will venture deep into a dangerous swamp to try and find a demon you witnessed in a vision. When you first arrive in the swamp, you will talk to a hermit who will tell you about a group of people who tried to explore the area.

Head into the swamp to the mission marker, then explore each highlighted area. Be sure to explore fully, as you want to find two items in chests at one of the locations. These are a scrap of a journal entry and a demonic potion, and you will need both to be able to finish this quest. When you have all the marked areas fully explored, return to the old man. He will answer various questions, then instruct you to go and play the drums.

You need to go to the center area and find the drums. Remember, it is crucial only to play each drum once, or else the sequence breaks and you will need to fight some mobs before being able to try again.

You want to play the drums in the following order

  • Yellow Insect
  • Frog
  • Red Snake

After, you're going to progress to the next part of the quest. I won’t leave any spoilers here for you but have fun.

the walking dead definitive series review

Earlier this year, Telltale's acclaimed The Walking Dead series wrapped up as the last episode of The Final Season came out in March. Shortly after the series finished, Skybound Games revealed that they were working on a new collection set to include every game in the series. This new collection is The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, not to be confused with 2017's The Walking Dead Collection. This Definitive Series contains all four main seasons of the series, the Michonne mini-series, and plenty of extras. These extras include things like developer commentary, a music player, a character model viewer, and a concept art gallery. Let's see how everything came together in this final sendoff to Clementine and her story.

The Games

The Walking Dead Season Two Clementine on bridge

All of the games included in this package are ones that have already been released as standalone games. Therefore, I won't spend too much time discussing these games that have previously been thoroughly discussed in other reviews and articles. Instead, I'll give just a few sentences about each to summarize their contributions. The games in the Definitive Series include 2012's The Walking Dead: Season One (including the "400 Days" DLC), 2013-2014's The Walking Dead: Season Two, 2016's The Walking Dead: Michonne, 2016-2017's The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and 2018-2019's The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

The Walking Dead: Season One is a masterpiece of interactive storytelling. It shaped the way the video game industry and community would think about narratives in the medium. More than half a decade later, it's still easy to see why. Season One is spectacular and is a game that everyone should play at least once in their lives.

Season Two initially brought some disappointment to fans with shorter episode lengths and fewer explorable hubs. However, the season still brilliantly follows up on the story set up by its predecessor. If you enjoyed the first game, you owe it to yourself to check out this one as well.

The Michonne mini-series offers a short break from the main series' narrative following Clementine. Instead, this mini-series looks at a previously unexplored period in the life of Michonne, a fan-favorite character from The Walking Dead comics. As a mini-series, it's not nearly as fleshed out or emotional as the main series games. Still, it's a neat story to experience that's worth your time if you want to check it out.

There are some fresh ideas present in A New Frontier. Overall, though, it doesn't live up to the standard set by the first two main series games. Some plot points only really make sense if you make certain decisions throughout the game. Many of the characters are either unlikable or merely uninteresting. If you're invested in Clementine's story, you'll probably want to see what this entry offers her narrative. However, you might be disappointed that it doesn't come close to the levels of greatness presented by other entries.

The Final Season finishes off Clementine's story in spectacular fashion. It serves as both a return to form and a welcome change from some of the standard tropes and mechanics used in earlier seasons. This amazing game is a must-play for anyone, even a little bit invested in Clementine's story. Regardless of how you felt about some of the middle entries of this series, you'll want to check this one out.

The Extras

The Walking Dead Definitive Series music player

Aside from the games themselves, there's a lot more packed into the Definitive Series.

The developer commentary has one episode from each season being played by some members of that season's development team and cast. The group provides commentary over the episode as they play through it. This gives insight into the development process of video games in general as well as a look into how these specific games were made. This commentary is fascinating. You'll hear stories regarding how certain ideas were conceived and others that didn't make the final cut and why they didn't. Anyone interested in the development side of video games will be fascinated by this content.

In the developer commentary section, you'll also find a short documentary. This ten-minute short details the story of Skybound Games coming in to save the development of The Final Season following the shutdown of Telltale Games. The video games industry is full of stories of massive layoffs, shady business practices, and workplace mistreatment. Amid this, it's nice to hear a story about a company that put developers and fans above everything else. This docu-short is a love letter to the series' fans and is a welcome addition to this collection.

The concept art gallery shows some early looks at characters and environments as well as cut material. You can see how some of your favorite characters were conceived and how they changed over time. Additionally, you'll get a look into what could've been if the creative process went in a bit of a different direction. Plus, a lot of this art looks cool.

The music player is a refreshing addition to this package. The Walking Dead has a great soundtrack. Many of the tracks from it are on display here. You'll find a lot of great music that played in the backgrounds of some of your favorite scenes. There are also some great credits songs here like "In the Pines" and "Safe and Sound." Whatever song you start playing here can be listened to as you explore the rest of the Definitive Series main menu.

Then there's the character model viewer. This lets you take a look at the character models of many characters. You can flip through their various outfits, look at different animations, and listen to them perform several fan-favorite lines. Just another cool bonus die-hard fans will be happy to get their hands on.

Lastly, there's the Graphic Black art style. The team that developed The Final Season created a new art style for the game called Graphic Black. This new style is meant to emulate a more comic book-inspired look, an homage to the franchise's roots. In the Definitive Series, players will have the option to turn on this Graphic Black style for any of the previous seasons as well. This art style often looks very cool on the older games. It can potentially make some scenes even more dramatic. It's also just a cool new lens to look at these games through, even if you're already familiar with them.

However, the Graphic Black art style isn't without its issues. Aside from The Final Season, none of the older games were made with this art style in mind. This can sometimes lead to environments being too dark or shadows hitting characters in weird ways. Other times, the style dilapidates the color scheme a bit too much. Luckily, if you prefer not playing with the Graphic Black style, there's also the option to turn it off. Doing this, you can avoid some of the drastic changes the Graphic Black style sometimes makes to the games. The visuals of the older games have been enhanced too look sharper and have an updated lighting engine. You'll still be able to experience those improvements with the Graphic Black style turned off.

There's also a bunch of Easter Eggs within both the games themselves and the extras. I won't spoil any of them here, but they're great.

The Cons

The Walking Dead Michonne carrying Sam

Of course, no game or collection is perfect. So let's discuss some of the things that could have been better.

Let's get the nitpicks out of the way first. For one thing, it's kind of odd that you have to be connected to the internet to watch the developer commentary and docu-short. It's inconvenient if you have an unreliable internet connection. Not to mention, it's just weird considering the rest of the collection is accessible offline.

Also, it's a little bit sad to see that many fan-favorite songs from the series didn't make it into the music player. Songs like "Take Us Back" and "Gun in My Hand" still plays in the game themselves, but are excluded from the music player. This could have to do with the licensed nature of these tracks. However, rights were obtained to use those songs elsewhere in this collection. This makes it feel odd that they wouldn't also be included in the music player.

However, at the end of the day, it feels a bit ridiculous to make those complaints. The music player and developer commentary didn't have to be included in this collection at all—it could have been just the games. Fans can nitpick about them, but the fact that these bonuses are even there, to begin with, is still great.

A more legitimate complaint is how some of the audio is handled in the director commentary. Sometimes the commentary audio isn't synced up well to the game footage. This will lead to you hearing commentary about something that you won't see for a few more seconds. Also, the subtitles sometimes attribute commentary to the wrong commentator.

Also, a relatively small complaint, but the song "Walk Among the Cobras Pt. 1" is missing from "400 Days." The song they replaced it with is also cool, so I don't mind that. However, many fans have come to associate that scene highly with the song that was originally in it. It could be missing due to a licensing issue. Regardless, it's the only licensed song missing from the Definitive Series. It's a bit of a shame.

Unfortunately, the Definitive Series' most significant problem is its assortment of bugs and glitches. I haven't found anything game-breaking that affects actual gameplay. However, there are quite a bit of bugs that affect the visuals and occasionally the audio. The most severe of these bugs occur during the "Next time on" and "Previously on" segments. Luckily, the bugs in the games themselves are usually minor and relatively infrequent. Still, it would be better if these distracting bugs weren't there at all. This is especially disappointing when there's a more major bug that isn't just a shadow in the background acting weird.

By the way, for those who are wondering how this new package may compare to the Collection from a couple of years ago, the Definitive Series is a step up. Things missing from the Collection, like assets, textures, optional dialogue trees, and credits songs, all return in the Definitive Series. This new package indeed contains its share of bugs. However, they're mostly not as severe as those in the Collection.

Just hours before I started writing this review, Skybound Games released a patch that seemed to fix some of these bugs. Unfortunately, there are plenty more that are still active. Since most of these glitches are relatively minor, their existences aren't a huge deal. Still, it's hard to say this is the definitive way to play these games when there are bugs that weren't present in the original releases. Hopefully, more patches will come out to deal with the rest of these bugs. Until then, this package will remain just short of being the perfect collection.

Overall

The Walking Dead The Final Season Clementine facing zombies

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is almost the ultimate way to experience one of the greatest video game series of all time. The convenience of having all the series' games in one package is much appreciated. Plus, all the bonuses are very cool and offer hours upon hours of further entertainment. The one big shame is the number of bugs and glitches present in the games themselves. Regardless, die-hard fans will want to pick this collection up for the bonuses if nothing else. Hopefully, the bugs get dealt with soon. If that happens, the Definitive Series will be the perfect package for newcomers to the series and long-time fans alike to experience the series that revolutionized storytelling in video games.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series – How to Turn Off Graphic Black

In the new collection The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series, the older games are all given the Graphic Black art style that was originally created for The Final Season. If you're not a fan of this new art style, don't worry. You have the option to turn it off and return to a graphically enhanced style more akin to 2017's The Walking Dead Collection. To turn off the Graphic Black style, choose Select Season from the collection's main menu. Then select which game you want to play. Directions from here on out will depend on which game you are playing.

From the Season One menu, select Help & Options, then choose Settings. From here, go to Graphics. On this menu, you will be able to toggle Graphic Black on and off.

From the Season Two menu, choose Settings, then Audio/Video. You'll be able to toggle Graphic Black on and off from here.

Michonne follows the same steps as Season Two. From this game's menu, go to Settings, then Audio/Video. You can toggle Graphic Black on and off from here.

The steps for A New Frontier are also the same as the steps you would follow for both Season Two and Michonne. Select Settings from this game's menu, then select Audio/Video. You can toggle Graphic Black on and off from here.

The Graphic Black art style is the original art style for The Final Season. As such, this is the only game that does not allow you to turn Graphic Black off.

One other thing to keep in mind is that you can turn the Graphic Black art style on or off whenever you want in the middle of playing any of the games. You need to pause the game, then follow the steps outlined above depending on which season you're playing.

New Ultra Bonuses In Pokemon Go Includes Regional Bonuses And Deoxys In All RaidsMisael DuranTue, 09/10/2019 - 02:19

Pokémon Go new Ultra Bonuses includes regional Pokémon, and the Mythical Deoxys appearing in all raid battles.

The Pokémon Deoxys initially only appeared in EX Raids in Pokémon Go. EX Raids are similar to regular raids, which are special events that different players can work together to defeat a very powerful Pokémon at a local gym, except EX Raids require players to have an EX Raid Pass. A player needs to be invited to be a part of an EX Raid to get an EX Raid Pass.

However, as part of the second week of Ultra Bonuses, Deoxys will appear in regular five-star Raids. Deoxys is a Mythical Pokémon, meaning it is mighty and rare. There are also four different forms of Deoxys, all of which will be available in regular Raid battles. The four forms are Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed.

A Tweet on the Pokémon Go Twitter account reads, “Build an epic team to challenge Deoxys with the Pokémon featured in raids.” The phrase seems to suggest that Pokémon strong against Deoxys will also be featured in raids.

Deoxys is a pure psychic-type, which means it is weak against bug, dark, and ghost Pokémon. Be warned though; it is also strong against fighting and poison-type.

Deoxys in regular Raids isn’t the only reward for Pokémon Go’s second week of Ultra Bonuses. Regional Pokémon, which include Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, Tauros, and Farfetch'd, can now hatch in 7 km eggs. Shiny variants of these regional Pokémon can also be hatched, so start stocking 7 km eggs if you want these Regional Pokémon, unless you want to travel to different parts of the world to try to get them.

The second week of Pokémon Go’s Ultra Bonuses will last from September 9 to September 16.

Optimizations:

  • Optimized level loading and level streaming (you'll have to optimize your cache once to use the new system).
  • Increased estimate for free-space needed to optimize download cache to avoid some people with nearly-full drives running into problems.
  • Fixed crash when changing maps in Conclave (among other rarer cases).
  • Fixed softlock when opening Chat.
  • Fixed Chat functionality in Shawzin screen.
  • Fixed a script error when "joining the hunt" from Simaris.

Shawzin Changes:

  • Chat button on Controllers can no longer be rebound in the Shawzin controller bindings. If this key has already been bound due to not having this restriction previously, rebinding what's there will fix it.
  • Changed the name ‘Vibrato’ to ‘Whammy’ to more accurately reflect its function.

Changes:

  • Tweaked Liset “sky” loading screen emissive/lighting.
  • Updated reflections in Captura Scenes.
  • Augur Mod Set Bonus will now continue to grant more Overshields up to the maximum amount of Overshield.
  • Toned down the brightness of Gauss’ Thermal Sunder Ability.
  • Operator Ear Accessories will now be visible when the Saturn Six mask is in the closed position.
  • Updated terminology for Damage Types in Portuguese.

Fixes:

  • Fixed Catchmoon Kitguns, Arca Plasmor, and a few other weapons not being able to damage the Ropalolyst Synovia.
  • Fixed Nova’s Antimatter Drop exploding prematurely when aiming with your gun, and looking down a bit. We attempted to fix this in 25.7.4 but it actually broke it more!
  • Fixed ability to equip Arcanes you do not own through Mod Link. As reported here.
  • Fixed the Lua Lens appearing as the same basic Lens icon in the Arsenal/Inventory screen.
  • Fixed Mag Prime appearing super glossy.
  • Fixed Operators running on air as a Client if you use Transference just as you're falling off a level. As reported here.
  • Fixed a number of different Operator accessories excessively clipping with the Norg Mask and Mother's Mask when ‘Hood Opened” is selected.
  • Fixed Horrasque's not appearing in the Codex..they were shy and hiding underground.
  • Fixed Host Revive FX being replicated for Clients.
  • Fixed inability to complete the Mastery Rank 12 test if you fall off the starting platform.
  • Fixed the Etheria Armor set clipping with many Warframes/Skins.
  • Fixed duplicate color names in the Heino Kubrow Gene-Masking Kit.
  • Fixed typo in name of Deaelra Kavat Skin (switched an L to an I).
  • Fixed a text string appearing when dismantling Servofish in Fortuna.
  • Fixed elevator control panels hovering in the air in the Corpus Outpost tileset.
  • Fixed enemies spawning inside walls in the Corpus Outpost Exterminate tileset.
  • Fixed enemies not being teleported when falling into pits in the Orokin Derelict Exterminate tileset.

PES 2020 Option File: What You Need To Know

Each year football fans can't wait to get their hands on the latest game, whether they're a die-hard FIFA fan or a total PES head. However,  if you're in the PES camp, then you know that you're going to have to jump through some hopes before you can take to the field with Manchester City instead of Man Blue. You could sit and edit each team name by yourself, as well as the kits, badges, and everything else that Konami doesn't have the rights too but that is unbelievably time-consuming.

If you don't want to do that, and who could blame you for not, then you can always go for the option of the, er, option file. This is a simple unofficial update for PES, but it's one that does all the tedious work for you, leaving you more time to spend on the pitch.

**Please Note: The following instructions do not work for the Xbox One due to its inability in downloading files from a USB**

PS 4

PES 2020 - How To Install Option File On PS4

  • 1: Go to a trusted site such as this one.
  • 2: Download all the files you want onto a USB, put them in a folder named WEPES.
  • 3: Startup PES 20, go into Extras, Import/Export, and choose Import Team.
  • 4: Ignore the warnings that the game will give you, select all the files that appear, and go to Advanced Settings.
  • 5: Leave the options boxes unticked on the next screen and click OK.
  • 6: Wait for your files to upload.
  • 7: When it's finished, save your game on Data Management page and hey presto, you've got all the teams.

To add badges and everything else, repeat the process but instead of choosing Import Team, choose Import Badges, or whatever else it is that you'd like to update.

This is also how you use the option file for PC as well, except that you'll have to extract the files to wherever you have the game installed on your machine, but after that, it's the same.

Is The PSN Down? If You Are Having Trouble Logging In, You Are Not AloneAidan O'BrienTue, 09/10/2019 - 07:29

It would seem that users from all over the world are running into issues when trying to log on the to PlayStation Network. Gamers from North America, Japan, and Europe are reporting problems on social media.

The issues appear to have been pretty widespread this morning, but Sony already appear to have a handle on it, and the situation seems to have improved a considerable amount over the last couple of hours. That said, if you do have issues logging on, then it is safe to assume that it is a residual effect of the issue, so there is no need to panic.

It is usually a good sign when Sony don't say anything about an issue on social media, as it implies they figure it will be a quick fix. The last major outage that the PlayStation Network suffered left hundreds of thousands of people out in the cold for a few hours, so this appears to have been a pretty minor blip by comparison.

According to the PlayStation Network Service Status website, everything is coming up green, so no major issues are currently ongoing. Downdetector shows a definite peak of reports and a tapering off ever since, which is also a great sign.

If you are affected by an issue, then all you can do is be patient and try again later today. If you get an error code upon trying to log in, then head for the Sony Support website to see what the error code means.

Death Stranding's Tokyo Game Show Trailer Is 49 Minutes LongAidan O'BrienTue, 09/10/2019 - 08:02

According to a tweet from Hideo Kojima, the Death Stranding trailer that will be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show will be 49 minutes long. He revealed the impressive run time in a post to Twitter.

I'm pretty sure that once you get past a five minute run time, you cannot call something a trailer anymore, so this feels more like a short film. I also suspect that very few questions people have about Death Stranding will be answered by the time it is all over.

Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima's first game since parting ways with Konami and will be a PlayStation exclusive. The game stars Norman Reedus as some form of a delivery man living in a hellish world of ghostly monsters, babies in jars, and general strangeness. Also, he has a ladder. I have seen various people claim that they now know what Death Stranding is about, but I suspect such people may be telling fibs.

Realistically, we can probably expect a mix of narrative points and cutscenes from the game, general gameplay, and more than likely some narrated PR work as well, as Sony and Kojima Productions aimed to grease the wheels of the marketing machine as we get closer to launch. A large part of the appeal of the game for many people does seem to be the mystery that surrounds it, and Kojima's history of producing wild narratives and worlds.

Death Stranding will release for PlayStation 5 on November 8.

FIFA 20 Demo Released TodayNeil GrayTue, 09/10/2019 - 08:07

A little while back an image was released that seemed to suggest at the FIFA 20 demo would be released on the 12th of September. There was a picture of Eden Hazard and the month September and even though the numbers that followed it, it was easy enough to read. It seems that its prediction was off, even if it was by a couple of days, as the FIFA demo is being let loose today, September 10th.

This is excellent news for fans of the game as it means we can all get to grips with it two weeks before its proper release and it should be live at around 3 pm BST. It will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though there will be no demo for the Nintendo Switch, so keep an eye on your digital store for it to appear.

It might seem strange to some of you that EA has decided to drop the game earlier than normal. This is because Konami launched PES 2020 today and it appears that EA wants to steal as much of their thunder as they possibly can, and what better way to do that than by giving the people what they want, a playable version of FIFA 20.

EA Reveals Cloud Gaming Service Project Atlas Technical TestPaolo SirioTue, 09/10/2019 - 09:13

Electronic Arts is just the latest entry in the streaming or cloud gaming industry, which is ramping up very fast over the year and is about to spread its wings with major services launching in the next few months like Microsoft's Project xCloud and Google Stadia.

EA has announced that it is launching sign-ups for Project Atlas, it's cloud gaming service that was revealed in October 2018 and is now very close to release in its first form, which will allow the company to do the proper tests before the full release.

"For EA, our continued focus will be on making sure our games will be ready for a cloud-powered future where our players can engage and enjoy anytime, anywhere, and on any device," said chief technology officer Ken Moss.

"To that end, I’m excited to share that we’ll be taking an important step in this learning journey as we host an exclusive external trial for our players to experience games streamed through EA’s cloud technology."

Project Atlas' first test will grant you with streaming copies of FIFA 19, Titanfall 2, Unravel and Need for Speed Rivals, way more than the only Assassin's Creed Odyssey that was attached with the first technical alpha of Google Stadia in 2018.

EA does believe that "cloud gaming is coming. It’s no longer a question of if, but when," as Moss wrote on Medium (via GamesRadar+). "It’s still really early days, but we’re excited to take this next step in our learning, and it’s great to be able to do it with some of you in our community."

This is why it is launching Project Atlas, which could be a good partner of the already existing EA and Origin Access, replacing or assisting the download option for a plethora of platforms in a short or medium term.

Project Scarlett Features "Dedicated Ray Tracing Cores"Paolo SirioTue, 09/10/2019 - 09:24

As we get closer to the full reveal of Project Scarlett, we receive a lot of technical information about the proper hardware capabilities of the console, and some of those are particularly interesting as they define what the next-gen platform will be able to do from holiday 2020.

In an interview with GameSpot, The Coalition technical art director Colin Penty shared an essential piece of news when he shared that Project Scarlett is getting "dedicated ray-tracing cores," which is another evidence of the fact that ray tracing will be hardware accelerated and not merely simulated.

"We don’t have anything to announce right now in terms of Gears with the new hardware," said Penty about what could be coming for the Gears of War franchise when Project Scarlett ships next year. "But I’m definitely super excited about what the new hardware could do. Having dedicated ray-tracing cores is huge."

It's worth adding that Scarlett's focus will be on frame rate and playability, as shared by Phil Spencer at E3 2019, and this is something that shouldn't go very well along with ray tracing, as that tech will be rather heavy to sustain, especially at 60 frames per second (or higher).

As for Gears of War, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gears 5 updated for Project Scarlett similarly to what happened with Xbox One X and Gears of War 4, which would also explain the reason why the PC port of the game was so well crafted in the first place. That will remain to be seen in 2020.

GreedFall - Coin Guard Merchandise Quest - How To Finish It

The Coin Guard Merchandise quest is a bit of rambling adventure that starts off GreedFall and is mostly designed to get you used to various systems in the game. The quest takes places in Serene, but finishing it up is a bit ambiguous. You won't be able to finish the quest in Serene at all. Once you have drugged or used other means to get past the guards on the warehouse in Serene and informed the porters that are waiting to grab the merchandise, it is time to move on.

GreedFall - Coin Guard Merchandise Quest - How To Finish It

Map of New Serene

You will need to go to New Serene, in the New World, to finish this quest. This means boarding the ship and entering the main area of the game. Once you arrive, you will need to head for the Barracks and speaks to the Quartermaster. This is a little awkward as there appears to be some cue missing in the mission that means this isn't entirely obvious.

All you need to do is head to new Serene, then hit up the Coin Guard Barracks as shown on the map above and you will be able to progress to the next stage of the quest. Just head inside to speak to the Quartermaster, who can be found in the main room just inside the door.

Once you have spoken to him, you will need to explore a couple of warehouses to track down the crates and mark them, then return to the Quartermaster. This will wrap up this quest, but will also open up more shenanigans that you can get up to if you wish.
