Pokemon Sword And Shield: Eternetus' Signature Move LeakedMisael DuranWed, 11/06/2019 - 02:43

The Leaks for Pokémon Sword and Shield keep coming; the new one is Eternatus’ signature move.

The mystique of Sword and Shield, the upcoming new titles in the popular Pokémon franchise, was destroyed this last weekend. Many major leaks for the game made it on the internet, and it spread throughout social media, including the reveal of all the new Pokémon in the game, as well as all the Gym Leaders.

Though many of the leaked images have been taken down from social media, the leaks persist. Now the stats of several new Pokémon have been leaked, including Eternatus.

Eternatus is a Legendary Pokémon; the name Eternatus was leaked a long time ago,  and its appearance was leaked over the weekend, like almost everything else. Its design is very frightening; it looks like a disjointed dragon skeleton. It has the second form, which is a giant hand that floats in the sky.

Today, Centro Pokémon LEAKS on Twitter has been spreading more leaked images of the game. The new images contain the stats and moves of the new Pokémon. They are also sharing the Pokédex descriptions of many of the new Pokémon. If you don’t mind being spoiled, check their Twitter account here for more details.

One of these leaked Pokémon stats is Eternatus, which has an exclusive move called “Dynamax Cannon.” It's a unique, dragon-type move that has the stats Power of 100. It’s a powerful beam that causes extra damage if the target is in Dynamax mode.

Other interesting tidbits in today’s leak includes Dragapult’s signature move. Dragapult is the final evolution of Dreepy, a dragon/ghost-type evolution line.

Dragapult’s signature move is called “Dragon Darts.” It has Dragapult shoot Dreepy out of its head, and if there are two targets than both get hit. It’s a physical, dragon-type move that has the stats Power of 50.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are going to release on Nov. 15.

Another Image Of Sonic's New Design In Live Action Film May Have Been "Leaked"Misael DuranWed, 11/06/2019 - 03:39

Another new image of Sonic’s updated design in the upcoming live-action film has potentially been leaked.

The live-action movie of Sonic the Hedgehog was initially scheduled for this upcoming Friday, on Nov. 8. However, after the release of the first official trailer in April, the film was hit by significant resistance from fans. The primary complaint from fans and critics was towards Sonic’s design in the movie; many felt he looked terrible in the motion picture, had a lean body and white fur instead of gloves on his hand. His human-looking teeth were also a significant source of mockery and ended up becoming a meme.

The criticism was so bad that the director later revealed that the film was being postponed to February. The director promise to redesign Sonic, which suggests that the redesign is the main reason for the postponement.

Though any official news concerning the Sonic movie has been sparse since the delay, multiple images online have been spreading. The images are supposed to be Sonic’s new leaked design, which looks closer to the character’s appearance in the video games. His body proportions match more closely to his video game counterpart, and he has gloves.

Related: Pokémon: Detective Pikachu Vs. Sonic The Hedgehog

It was hard to determine if the leaks are real, but there does appear to be enough evidence to imply that there is some validation to the leaks thanks to Twitter user Sneedy.

Sneedy shared a new image of the updated Sonic design, and it has some small differences from the other leaked images; for instance, Sonic's fur is more realistic. Nonetheless, the new image matches very closely to the other leaks.

While Sonic’s leaked design for the movie appears more and more likely as the days go by, we should remind readers to be skeptical towards all leaks. Until anything is revealed officially, people should take everything with a grain of salt.

The live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie is currently scheduled to release on Feb. 20, 2020.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Land 3 Hits With Bob-ombs In A Single Race

A new week means new challenges in Mario Kart Tour. One of the challenges this week is to land three hits with Bob-ombs in a single race. If you pick the right driver and the right track, you can get this finished very quickly.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Land 3 Hits With Bob-ombs In A Single Race

Shy Guy is a great driver to use for this challenge, as his special ability is the Double Bob-ombs, which throws two Bob-ombs at once. If you use him on Shy Guy Bazaar, you can also get Frenzy, allowing you to spawn the Bob-ombs for a few seconds.

Roy also has the Double Bob-ombs special skill, and can get a Frenzy on Kalimari Desert T. Wario has the Double Bob-omb ability, and can Frenzy on Choco Island 2T, Kalimari Desert R, and Kalimari Desert T.

Waluigi can Frenzy on Waluigi Pinball, Rock Rock Mountain, and Neo Bowser City R. He also has the Double Bob-ombs special skill. Mario (Musician) has the Bob-ombs you need to finish the challenge and can Frenzy on multiple tracks. Yoshi Circuit R, Waluigi Pinball, Mario Circuit 3, Daisy Hills, New York Minute T, New York Minute R are all courses where Mario (Musician) can Frenzy.

Any of these drivers on the listed courses are a quick and easy way to finish up the challenge. I'd suggest doing the races at 150cc, as the drivers tend to group up more. Just stay with the back, pick up item boxes, and throw the Bob-ombs as they come to you.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Land 3 Hits With Green Shells In A Single Race, Using a Driver Wearing A Shell

The new challenge day is here in Mario Kart Tour! Once a week, we will get access to new challenges to earn Grand Stars. One of the challenges this week is to land three hits with Green Shells in a single race, using a driver who is wearing a shell. As such, we will need some particular drivers to do this challenge.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Land 3 Hits With Green Shells In A Single Race, Using a Driver Wearing A Shell

To do this challenge, we are limited to drivers who have a shell and have a Green Shell special item.

  • Dry Bones - Triple Green Shells
  • Iggy - Triple Green Shells
  • Lakitu - Triple Green Shells

While a single Green Shell is an item that any driver can pick up in a race, the Triple Green Shells will give you the best chance of finishing this in one race, as getting three single green shells would be quite rare. You can also increase your chances by using the above drivers on courses where they can get a Frenzy. Frenzy allows you to spam your unique ability if you manage to pick up three of the same item from the same item box.

The course that will allow the drivers to Frenzy are listed below:

  • Dry Bones - Bowser's Castle 1T, Shy Guy Bazaar T
  • Iggy - Choco Island 2R
  • Lakitu - Waluigi Pinball T, Mario Circuit 3T, Paris Promenade T, Toad Circuit T, Mario Circuit 2T, Ghost Valley 1T

As you can see, if you are lucky enough to have Lakitu, that driver gives you the most chances to get this challenge done on a course that suits you. All you need to do is grab item boxes and land hits with your Green Shells. Remember, they go in a straight line, so get as close to your target as possible before throwing them! You can also throw them behind you, by swiping down the screen, to take out any driver that is getting too close.

Deep Down Team Is No More, But The IP Is Still AlivePaolo SirioWed, 11/06/2019 - 05:11

Yoshinori Ono, the famed producer at Capcom, has provided a rare statement about the state of the development process on Deep Down, the infamous PlayStation 4 exclusive which had been announced at the reveal event of the console and never seen around after that.

Ono has reckoned that the development team on the project has been disbanded and that Capcom is doing all kinds of different stuff right now with those resources, but also that the IP is still there, and there are chances that it could be recovered anytime soon.

"I haven’t been called Mr. Deep Down quite yet. The original team is clearly no longer together at this point, but people might have noticed that we’ve kept the trademark registered, and it’s not been completely given up on," he told Eurogamer.net.

"Every year we examine titles we’re doing in future, and we bring up projects to approve and move forward. There’s not much I can say about it, but if you’ve noticed we’ve kept the trademark, it means we haven’t given up on the title completely."

Ono also commented that the "concept developed a bit further than" the Tokyo Game Show event where the press got to play Deep Down, which was back in the days a one of a kind dungeon crawler where all the locations got generated procedurally.

It looks like intellectual property is still there. We won't hear about it for a long while as the Japanese developer and publisher is doing a lot of different things with its studios, such as Project Resistance, new mainline Resident Evil games, Devil May Cry, remake/reboots of popular franchises, and more.

Death Stranding Awarded A Perfect Score In Famitsu ReviewPaolo SirioWed, 11/06/2019 - 05:31

You might have heard about Death Stranding not receiving a warm welcome from our press friends and colleagues, despite grabbing a rather good 85/100 Metascore on Metacritic. However, it still looks like there's someone out there who has had a perfect time with the PS4 console exclusive (you know, it's also coming to PC).

That someone is Famitsu. The popular Japanese magazine has awarded the game a 40/40, as spotted on ResetEra.

If you know how things work at Famitsu, they have four reviewers who work on each title, and then release all four their scores which concur to build the sum of the score for that specific game. Death Stranding managed to grab four perfect scores from all the four reviewers, which is kind of unique and unusual.

So, that's something that should at least have you a bit more comforted about what's going on with the title. You might have been disappointed about reading all those things, which said that the game is going to be annoying or not fun at all, but a 40/40 should clear that aspect, too.

It's also clear that Kojima has strived to build something very, very ambitious and story-based, and that the gameplay itself is a consequence of that ambition -- in a world where all the gameplay experiences are seemingly tailored to convey specific mechanics, like shooting, shooting and shooting, he's gone for something different, and perhaps you might not like it. And that would be ok.

But if you are a Hideo Kojima fan, it's unlikely you're going to be disappointed, or at least this is what we get from a 40/40 review for Death Stranding.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Finish A Race By Crashing Over The Line Three Times

Mario Kart Tour has an exciting challenge this week, as we need to finish a race by crashing over the line three times. You can't leave this one to chance and instead will need to give yourself the perfect set up. You will also need a Banana to get the job done correctly.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Finish A Race By Crashing Over The Line Three Times

Because you will need a Banana for this challenge, use the BBIA Parafoil if you have it, as it increases your chances of getting a Banana. Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, and Morton are also excellent drivers to use, as they all have Banana related special items as well.

What you will need to do is pick a course of your choice, then race it as normal. Aim to be in the first place, to increase the chances of getting a Banana from an item box. Once you get one, you will need to try and hold on to it by dodging attacks from other drivers, and not picking up other items.

As you approach the finish line at the end of the first lap, cross it either on the far left or far right, as close as you can to the edge, dropping your Banana just before the finish line itself. After that, you need to get around the second lap, keeping first place, so that you can cross the finish line by running over your Banana. This will cause you to crash, and you will end up crashing over the finish line. Just repeat this three times to wrap up the challenge.

Because you will be leaving the Banana on the extreme left or right of the track, other drivers shouldn't run over it, meaning it will be there waiting for you at the end of the second lap!

How To Skip Red Dead Redemption 2 Prologue On PC

How To Skip Red Dead Redemption 2 Prologue On PCPaolo SirioWed, 11/06/2019 - 05:48

As you might have heard, Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on PC. This makes for it to be an excellent occasion for modders to basically edit and build it from the ground up, depending on their tastes, portions of the majestic experience that has been released back in 2018.

A lot of mods have been released thus far, many of which allow you to have a different protagonist from the lovely Arthur Morgan, but a few are also very useful in terms of how the game works and how it performs on your PC.

One of those is the mod you can find on NexusMods that allows you to skip the prologue on Red Dead Redemption 2 PC entirely. It's fundamentally a save file that brings you right on Chapter 2 (one is also starting on Chapter 3, in case you want to skip even further) and all you need to do is replace the files in your Profiles folder (C:\Users\\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles).

Let's make this clear -- we love the prologue in RDR2, it's very cinematic and allows you to get the grasp of the story, characters, and how those will interact until the very end of the game. However, you might have already enjoyed that on the console.

As it is prolonged and takes a couple of hours to complete, you might want to jump to the sprawling western open world of the title directly, without any additional waiting time or wasting time on a story you already know (and love).

So, that mod might be the perfect fit for you, in case you've already played Red Dead Redemption 2 on the console. In case you haven't, however, you should not miss the prologue as it's a piece of art itself outside of the main game.

The PC version also has a rush of technical issues that we're helping you to fix in multiple ways, so check our guides just in case you're meeting any of them.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Earn A Score of 7000 Or Higher Using A Driver Wearing Short Sleeves

It's new challenge time in Mario Kart Tour. One of the challenges this week is to earn a score of 7000 or higher using a driver wearing short sleeves.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Earn A Score of 7000 Or Higher Using  A Driver Wearing Short Sleeves

First, you will need the correct driver, and thankfully there are lots of options when it comes to a driver wearing short sleeves:

  • Baby Daisy
  • Baby Rosalina
  • Peach
  • Daisy
  • Wario

Cheep Cheep Lagoon in the Peach Cup is an excellent course to do this on. It is a long race, with a vast amount of obstacles, jumps, items, and turns that you can easily use to rack up 7000 points. Pick the driver, kart, and glider combination that will give you the best possible points for each one, then be sure to do the following while racing.

  • Having a higher driver, vehicle, or glider level
  • Hitting other drivers with items while playing
  • Collecting coins
  • Hitting a drift to get a boost
  • Preforming a jump boost
  • Finishing at a higher placement, such as first

The real trick is to build up the largest combo that you can, by threading lots of smaller actions like jumping, drifting, and using items and picking up coins. This will give you large multipliers, easily letting you hit that 7000 points mark. Also, it might take you just a few turns around the course to learn where everything is and how to get the best score. Just keep practicing until you break the 7000 score barrier.

If you don't have any driver with short sleeves, you will need to either fire the pipe and hope for the best or wait until one shows up in the Daily Selects at the shop, then buy it with gold.

Steam Cloud Gaming Reportedly In The Works At Valve

Steam Cloud Gaming Reportedly In The Works At ValvePaolo SirioWed, 11/06/2019 - 06:03

Valve is a very active company these days. We reported only a few days ago that it is rumored to be working on something in the AR space with Apple, most likely in the mobile business, it has its VR Index headset, and there's even more on the horizon.

According to a new rumor, the developer is going to release a Steam Cloud Gaming platform, which could be set to rival with the likes of Google Stadia, Project xCloud, PlayStation Now, and all the other platforms in that range.

According to the details shared by Steam Database, "Valve is working on 'Steam Cloud Gaming' according to partner site code update. Partners will need to sign an addendum to their terms," and this might mean that the release of the platform at least in a preview fashion could be very close.

The news itself is a bit surprising because it comes at a time where it didn't look like Valve was going to make such a sudden jump, but if you think about that, it seems like it's a natural move from the Steam platform owner.

Valve was one of the first clients to offer cloud saves and knows the technology. Also, not secondarily, it has a library at its disposal that is huge, and very few out there could rival it in terms of just how many games it features now. So, why not?

Mario Kart Tour - How To Collect 50 Coins In A Single Race

One of the new challenges this week in Mario Kart Tour is to collect 50 coins in a single race! This sounds much tougher than it is, but it really just boils down to picking the right track, the right driver, and maybe driving a little slower than you are used to.

Mario Kart Tour - How To Collect 50 Coins In A Single Race

I would suggest doing this challenge at 50cc for several reasons. Firstly, the other drivers are far less likely to overtake you at 50cc, making it easier to keep first place and arrive at all the coins before the AI drivers. Secondly, because the race itself is slower, it makes it easier to pick up all the coins you need.

You also want to pick a course that has a lot of coins. Choco Island 2, the third race in the Peach Cup, is a great example. You should be able to grab 25 coins on each lap of this race, getting you the 50 you need to finish the challenge. The driver that you choose is also vital. For example, on Choco Island 2, you want to use Wendy if you have her. The reason for this is that you are hoping to hit a Coin Frenzy, letting you rack up the coins as quickly as possible.

If you like, you can try and match course and drivers to try and hit a Coin Frenzy in any race, and this should get you a lot of the way towards the 50 coins that you need. Just pick your course, then run it a couple of times at 50cc to learn precisely where all the coins are, to maximize the number you can pick up.

You also want to avoid being hit by other drivers, as this can make you drop coins. Hitting them is fair game, however, as this will make them drop coins that you can then pick up. With a little bit of practice, this challenge shouldn't take you very long to finish up.

Playtonic Games Debunks Banjo, Xbox Game Studios Acquisition RumorsPaolo SirioWed, 11/06/2019 - 06:22

Yesterday, we reported about Playtonic Games rumored to be working on a new Banjo-Kazooie game and in the middle of an acquisition process from Xbox Game Studios, which was something Xbox fans were looking forward to happening at X019.

However, the developer of the Yooka-Laylee franchise has just issued an statement to debunk those rumors, remarking its will to stay independent despite all the clues were pointing at something different from that.

The team has mentioned that this is "speculation" and that "we aren't working on a new Banjo-Kazooie game, and we remain an independent studio," although they're sad to provide news that fans might not like at all.

"While we would love to work with the bear and the bird again, that ball isn't in our court," Playtonic acknowledged, saying that they would love to build a new Banjo game but that it's a decision that only Microsoft and Rare have to make.

"We are keen to continue progressing as a studio, carrying the experience of games we worked on, old and new, to create new characters and adventures for you to (hopefully) love," they added.

"We're sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear from us, at first, we found it amusing that Ed Bryan's bag is being used as serious 'evidence', but we reckon it wouldn't be fair if we didn't set the record straight," the team also added about one of the clues we've mentioned.

So, that's it: Playtonic Games is not joining Xbox Game Studios and, most importantly, is not working on a new Banjo-Kazooie game. Are you disappointed about that same as I am now? Let us know in the comments.

Planet Zoo - Zookeepers Not Refilling Food Bug And Potential Fixes

Planet Zoo is out, and everyone is building their dream zoo. Red Pandas and cute little Tapirs about, but there is a common bug in the game that is affecting quite a few players. The issue centers around zookeepers not refilling food. In this guide, we will run through some potential fixes.

Planet Zoo - Zookeepers Not Refilling Food Bug And Potential Fixes

Move All Food And Water Bowls

Some players have stated that moving the food and water bowls in their habitat has fixed the issue, and zookeepers have returned to keeping everything filled, and then animals well-fed.

Make Sure There Is A Zookeeper Assigned

Make sure there is a zookeeper assigned to the habitat! If you have too many habitats in an area, build a cabin for the zookeepers near them so that they have less travel time.

Remove Feed Enrichment Toys

Some players have noticed that removing feeder enrichment toys from their habitat causes the zookeeper to go back to filling the regular food troughs. This might be a bug in how the zookeeper AI handles priority and refilling orders.

If Nothing Works, Send The Animals To The Change Center

Removing your animals from the habitat, and keeping them in the change center, means they will be automatically fed, and won't die on you. It's not a great solution, but it will stop your expensive animals from dying and ruining your chance of a thriving zoo.

Unfortunately, any of the above are just quick fixes, and we will all have to wait until Frontier Developments patch the problem in an update.

Get the New Fighter Terry Bogard in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NowAidan O'BrienWed, 11/06/2019 - 08:49

If you have been waiting to find out when Terry Bogard would be joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, then we have good news: During a special presentation about the character and the history of storied developer SNK, Nintendo has revealed that the new fighter is available now.

During the presentation, series director Masahiro Sakurai went into detail on the character's moves and even spoke about the special King of Fighters Stage music that will launch with the character. Terry Bogard made his first appearance in 1991's Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.

The Terry DLC will feature 50 tracks, making it the largest number of tracks available for a DLC character so far, and it will include music from multiple SNK games.

Terry Bogard is the fourth new character to be added to the game, but the identity of the fifth character is still a mystery. We have no clues yet as to who the fifth fighter will be when they might release, or what kind of additions will also be made to the game along with them. Terry joins Persona 5's Joker, Banjo Kazooie, and Dragon Quest 11's Hero as new characters added to the Smash Ultimate lineup so far.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been an enormous success for Nintendo, regularly hitting Top 10 selling games each month.

With Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield just days away from release, we figured it wouldn’t be long before there was a confirmed online event to bring the community into the fray. And just like clockwork, we’ve got one.

New details came in through Serebii.net about a new online event set to kick off shortly following the game’s launch. Called The Galar Beginning, there aren’t too many details about it at the moment, but we know about one of its particular rules and, more importantly, when it’s taking place.

Registration for the online competition will kick off on the game’s launch date, Nov. 15. Players will have a chance to sign up between then and Dec. 6. Once that’s done, the event will commence, taking place from Dec. 6 through Dec. 9.

The site notes that the event is a “Single Battle competition using only Pokemon in the Galaxy Pokedex. There wasn’t a specific character list given, but fans of the game should have a good idea which characters they can use.

That’s about all we know at the moment, but it’s great to see Nintendo and The Pokemon Company come running right out of the gate with an online competition for all to enjoy. Hopefully it’s just the first of many to run through 2020, to keep the millions of Pokemon fans out there happy.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Items and Features Revealed In New VideoRobert WorkmanWed, 11/06/2019 - 09:50

We’re officially less than 10 days from the launch of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield for Nintendo Switch. With that, a new detailed video has appeared on the Official Pokemon YouTube Channel, highlighting some new items and previously unseen features for the game.

First off, there’s a breakdown of improved techniques when it comes to Pokemon training. Mints are now capable of changing the effects of your creature’s nature, with a number to choose from. These include Modest Mint, Lonely Mint, Hasty Mint, and several others. You can choose which character to give them to, then watch how this changes their battle statistics.

Players can also use a number of supplements to max out a Pokemon character’s base points. These include Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, and several others. And it’s not just limited to one bottle of supplement, either. You can give them multiple items and watch them increase instantly in a number of areas.

Candies are also available, allowing you to level up your Pokemon characters. They range from XS to XL, though Rare pieces of candy are also available. You can see them take effect right away as your Pokemon level up in real time.

There’s also a new option some fan are sure to love revolving around the Day Care Center. Pokemon will now be able to pass along Egg moves to each other. Simply pay a visit to one and you’ll see the option available.

Pokemon Boxes will also be accessible from almost anywhere in the game. Just go to the menu, hit the right shoulder button, and make your moves.

Check out the video below to see these new features in action. It certainly helps Pokemon grow in a number of ways.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Gigantamax Raids Detailed, Will Be More Common at LaunchRobert WorkmanWed, 11/06/2019 - 10:10

You may have seen the report last month about Gigantamax Pokemon characters coming to Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Some players are worried they may not have enough of a chance to capture these rarities. But don’t worry... you will.

Today, The Pokemon Company, in conjunction with Nintendo, revealed that a number of common Gigantamax Raids will take place following the game’s launch, giving players the chance to work together to capture one of their own.

The raids will kick off on the game’s launch day, Nov. 15, and run through Jan. 2020. During this time, several Max Raid Battles for Gigantamax Pokemon will be available. This includes more spawning for favorites like Gigantamax Butterfree, Gigantamax Drednaw, and Gigantamax Corviknight. More specifically, Dreadnaw will be available in Pokemon Sword, while Corviknight will be a typical offering in Pokemon Shield

Even though only one player will be able to catch the rare Pokemon when all is said and done, more common spawns will give each of the four players taking part in the capture the opportunity to get their own, so the one who makes the final capture won’t be the only one reaping the benefits.

As for other characters, like Gigantamax Pikachu and Gigantamax Meowth, those details aren’t available yet. However, more opportunities could pop up as the New Year rolls on, with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company looking to continue support for the Pokemon gaming community. We’ll let you know when more details are available.

Richter Belmont, Dark Samus Amiibo Coming This JanuaryRobert WorkmanWed, 11/06/2019 - 10:46

Though they had been announced a little while back, neither the Richter Belmont nor Dark Samus Amiibo had gotten any kind of release date yet. That changed this morning, however, when Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard was announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo of America confirmed on its Twitter feed today that both characters would be available for purchase starting on Jan. 17. They’re pictured above, and will no doubt be must-haves for collectors of all things Smash Bros. They’re expected to retail for around $12.99 apiece.

Fans will remember Richter from the Castlevania series, most notably for his appearance in the Turbo-Grafx game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, as well as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. He was first confirmed for the game back in Aug. 2018.

Meanwhile, Dark Samus, initially introduced in the Metroid Prime series back on Nintendo GameCube (and, later, the Wii, with Metroid Prime Trilogy), acts as the “dark” version of the legendary Samus Aran, complete with equally strong abilities and a savvy looking Phazon Suit.

Though the release of only two Amiibo may be a little on the short side (compared to the usual three), these will no doubt make great additions to anyone’s collection. And, as always, they’ll provide a nice little boost in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as well, when scanned on your Nintendo Switch system.

Pre-orders for the characters should be ready soon. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Nintendo Switch.

Destiny 2 Pinnacle Reward Increase Goes Live TomorrowBryan LawverWed, 11/06/2019 - 12:56

The climb from Power Level 950 to 960 in Destiny 2 is about to get a little easier to manage. Since the launch of Shadowkeep, getting those last 10 precious levels has been an exceedingly slow climb, with each Pinnacle reward dropping only a +1 Power increase. With its next update, however, Bungie is ramping up the amount of Power that each Pinnacle reward grants.

Starting Nov. 7, all Pinnacle rewards will grant +2 Power rather than the +1 they currently offer. That means that if you’re currently waiting to cash in Pinnacle rewards, it’s a good idea to wait a little longer, turning them in Thursday for double the reward. With Iron Banner now live, you’ll have even more chances to earn those Pinnacle rewards, giving you even more chances to boost your Power Level.

Bungie’s most recent patch notes explain the team’s reasoning for the initially slow progress granted by Pinnacle rewards. According to the developer, Pinnacle rewards were meant as “an aspirational progression that reflects participation in some of the more difficult and time-limited content of Destiny 2.” The goal was to offer a slower power progression without locking away any content. However, as Bungie explained, the chance of getting duplicate drops as Pinnacle drops made progress even slower than intended, since higher Power Level items needed to be equipped in all slots to get a Power boost from them. With the changes coming tomorrow, players will only need Pinnacle rewards in four slots to increase their Power Level.

Hotfix 2.6.1.1, which will include the changes to Pinnacle rewards, should go live tomorrow at 9am, the same time as weekly resets. That gives you one more day to finish up Iron Banner bounties and get any other Pinnacle content done so you can be ready to hand in it once the reward increase is in place.

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Where to find Ram's Head Location

Red Dead Redemption 2 assigns daily missions to its players. These can vary from killing a certain animal, or amount of players, to fetch quests. One such quest is finding and gathering a set amount of Ram’s Head.

Ram’s Head is a type of fungi that grows throughout the map. It usually appears in batches of three to four. The in-game guide mentions it can be found growing at the base of tree trunks in West Elizabeth and Ambarino. While that gives the player some idea on where to find them, finding any herb in this game requires keen eyes, on top of the location.

A video shows several locations. We’ve compiled a series of handy maps to help you pinpoint these exact locations.

All Ram's Head Locations

This is likely not a complete map, just a very thorough one. There are places yet undiscovered where this subtle little fungi may be hidden. While the game and RankedBoost may say that Ram’s Head can be found in West Elizabeth and Ambarino, it’s not limited to just these two locations. It can be found over most of the northern half of the map; West Elizabeth, Strawberry, Cumberland Forest, and North Annesburg.

West Elizabeth - Strawberry

West Elizabeth is huge. We had to do different maps for these to make sure all the locations were visible. First up is Strawberry. You're probably very familiar with this area after the main storyline.

There are three Ram’s Head locations around Strawberry. The nearest is just north of the city and into the mountains a little. If that doesn’t yield results, others can be found off the road further south.

West Elizabeth - North

There are two just northwest of Wallace Station in West Elizabeth. Follow the road by the river until it splits north. Take that short road and you’ll find yourself in a forest. You’ll need to make use of your character’s Eagle Eye ability to isolate the fungi in the brush.

West Elizabeth - Diablo Ridge

Two more small clusters can be found by Diablo Ridge. The first is very close to where the writing appears on the map. The other is further southeast. Once you’ve found these two, head east. You will see a deer marked on your map here. It is very close to this marking.

Ram's Head locations in Cumberland Forest

Ambarino - Cumberland Forest

Despite the game’s insistence that it can be found in Ambarino, there is only a small cluster in Cumberland Forest. Three different patches grow near the roads in the forest. Again, you may need to make use of your Eagle Eye ability to find them.

Annesburg

There are five more batches of Ram’s Head in Annesburg, with most of them located north of Brandywine Drop. The first two are very far north, near the edge of the map. Follow the river up north, past the railroad, to find these.

A third cluster of Ram’s Head can be found near the heart of Brandywine Drop, just north of the location and slightly east of the river.

The other two are further south, near the Roanoke Valley. There is another animal indicator on your map here, for a cougar. It is near this marker.

The final location is further up the road. Follow the path a ways and after a second curve in the road, head north into the wilderness to find the last patch of Ram’s Head.

Ram’s Head is scattered throughout the map in Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s often clustered together near other patches of it. Once you’re used to the environment it favors, you’ll find other spots we may not have found yet.
