How To Get Platinum In Warframe

How To Get Platinum In Warframe

Warframe, much like all free-to-play games, has a premium currency known as Platinum. Platinum  can be used to purchase weapons, Warframes, and other equipment within the game. While the majority of items in the game can be earned by playing, Platinum allows people to shortcut grinds if they want to. There are other items, such as Deluxe Skins, that can only be purchased with the currency.

A little note here, Platinum cannot be used to purchased user created skins through the Tennogen program. These can only be purchased with real world currency on whatever platform you play the game on.

How To Get Platinum

1) Purchasing Platinum Bundles

You can purchase Platinum bundles from the Warframe website for real world currency. An important point about these bundles is that you can get discounts to the price as log in rewards. Log in rewards are randomly generated, but there is a chance at getting a discount of anywhere up to 75% off the price of a Platinum bundle.

  • 75 Platinum - $4.99
  • 170 Platinum - $9.99
  • 370 Platinum - $19.99
  • 1000 Platinum - $49.99
  • 2100 Platinum - $99.99
  • 4300 Platinum - $199.99

2) Farm In Game Items And Trade

It is possible for players to farm certain in-game items that they can then trade to other players for Platinum. This leads to an in-game economy that is dictated by supply and demand. Strong new items and Warframes sell for more, while older items, unless very rare, sell for less. For a full run down on trading in Warframe, check out our trading guide. This is the best way for players to earn Platinum, as if they are willing to farm items they can earn the currency without spending any money.

3) Prime Access And Prime Vault Packs

When a new Prime Warframe is introduced, different levels of Prime Access are made available. These will contain various in-game items, including some Platinum. You can also purchase Prime Vault packs when older Primes are unvaulted, but these will contain less Platinum. You can purchase either one from the Warframe website.

4) As Prizes

From time to time Digital Extremes will give away bundles of Platinum during their Devstreams, or as part of competitions and events. They can also run events with partnered Youtubers and Twitch streamers to give away Platinum. These are hard to predict, so it is best to just the various Warframe social media sites and stay up to date on any giveaways.

Destiny 2 Maintenance For Shadowkeep - Start And End Times

A shadow falls across the moon in Destiny 2, as Shadowkeep is looming at us. Unfortunately, a shadow also falls across the servers, as they will be going offline to prepare for the launch of Shadowkeep, Destiny 2: New Light, and the move from the Blizzard App to Steam.

Destiny 2 Maintenance For Shadowkeep - Start And End Times

Destiny's maintenance will begin on September 30, at 9:45am PDT, 15:45 UTC. According to the Bungie website, the following can be expected.

  • Destiny 1 and will be brought offline to undergo maintenance to prepare for Update 2.6.0.1.
  • Players will be unable to log in until October 1, 2019, at 10 AM PDT when Update 2.6.0.1 becomes available.
  • Maintenance is expected to conclude at 12:00 PM PDT (2100 UTC) on October 1.
  • Sign in and some of the Bungie.net and Destiny Companion features will be unavailable on Web, Mobile, and Third-Party Apps during maintenance.

The maintenance will stop affecting front end sign on servers on October 1 at 10am PDT, 17:00 UTC. While users should be able to sign-on from this time, they may experience sign-on issues due to continued background maintenance.

  • Destiny 1 and 2 services are back online, and Destiny 2 Update 2.6.0.1 has begun rolling out across all platforms and regions.
  • Users may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
  • Bungie.net and Destiny Companion features have been re-enabled on Web, Mobile, and Third-Party Apps.

Maintenance, including background, will be completely finished by 12:00 PDT, 19:00 UTC. At this point, you can reasonable expect to be able to sign into the game servers without any issues.

  • Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is expected to complete.
  • Console players who encounter issues updating to Update 2.6.0.1 should reset their console and relaunch Destiny 2.
  • Players who encounter issues should report them to the #Help forum.

All going to plan, there should not be any additional need to extend the maintenance time. It should be noted that, for PC players especially, additional issues might arise as the game migrates to a new platform. There may also be long queue times to get into the game due to the launch of Shadowkeep.

What are Tiers in Mario Kart Tour?

What are Tiers in Mario Kart Tour?

Mario Kart Tour is a mobile game that really doesn't tell its player base much about anything.

As well as a handful of confusing challenges like asking players to hit three pipes, there are also a handful of insane challenge conditions, such as hitting three opponents at the same time with a Bob-Omb, which requires precise accuracy and luck.

Here, we are once again going to talk about another confusing term used in the game known as Tiers, which appears in one of the game's challenges. So, what exactly are these "tiers" that the game asks you to get?

Well, they have to do with Ranked Play on the leaderboard system. Over a week, players compete on three tracks to secure the highest place on the leaderboard to win prizes and go up a "Tier" in Ranked to play against better players in the game.

At the end of the ranked week, you will go up or down a Tier depending on your final placement, with more tiers rewarded for finishing in the top three, three in fact, over say one or two tiers for finishing anywhere in the top ten.

So in short, Tiers are a part of the ranked play and you go up more of them the better you perform at the end of the weeks ranked season. Hope that helps!

What Pokémon can devolve?

What Pokémon can devolve?

Devolution in Pokémon is something that might seem farfetched, as it has never truly been implemented in the main Pokémon games, but the concept itself is something that is possible in the Pokémon universe.

When you take a look at the entire Pokédex, a lot of them have evolutions that have specific requirements just to evolve.  So what does cause a Pokémon to devolve back into its previous stage?

There are different ways a Pokémon can devolve, but in the main games such as Red & Blue, there is no possible way to do something like this. The concept does make its appearance in different forms of Pokémon media, such as the manga and video game spinoff Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, however, in the form of a Pokémon from the Kanto region— Slowbro.

If it loses the Shellder that bit onto its tail as a Slowpoke, then Slowbro will devolve back into the Dopey Pokémon we all know and love, potentially losing its memories in the process

We could also use Mega Evolution as a way at looking at what Pokémon "devolve" as when a Pokémon Mega Evolves, it returns back to its previous form after the battle. Of course, this isn't devolution but just the way that Mega Evolution works, and is more of a temporary evolutionary state.

So yes, when it comes down to it, Devolution is not a thing in the Pokémon series officially, but for the side games, it is something that is mentioned but never actually sees the light of day.

Code Vein - Where To Go After Beating The Insatiable Despot

The Insatiable Despot is a pretty early boss fight in Code Vein. One you beat him, the game is a little loath to tell you where you need to go next. Thankfully, in this guide we will tell you exactly where to go.

Code Vein - Where To After Beating The Insatiable Despot

Ruined City Center Map

After you have beaten the Insatiable Despot, you need to get to the Howling Pits. To to do this, head to the nearest Mistle, then select Ruined City Center as a destination, and from the list of Mistles choose Parking Garage.

When you spawn at the Parking Garage, drop down the ladder to the street, then head to the right. Take out the enemies and the dogs, then follow to the left. From when you come to the next crossroads, go left again, then left at the end of that street.

You can see the route you need to follow marked on the map above in red lines, with the red rectangle showing your desired destination. When you get there you will find a huge chasm you will need to drop down. Carefully drop from ledge to ledge, or take advantage of your companion being with you and drop all the way to the bottom. You will die, but they will revive you.

Once you get to the bottom, just follow the route to the Howling Pits. This is a particularly dangerous area, filled with large enemies and tough terrain, so make sure you are well stocked up and explore every inch of it to find all the items and Mistles.

Untitled Goose Game: How to Get The Toy Boat in the Pub

Untitled Goose Game is the feel good game of the year, for me at least. You are a mischievous goose intent on ruining people's days. You break their stuff, and generally interfere in their peaceful lives. You can also go to the pub, and mess with the people there. For whatever reason, the goose wants a boat, so in this guide we will show you how to get the toy boat in the pub.

Untitled Goose Game - Get The Toy Boat

Getting the toy boat boils down to two very simple things. First, you need to know where to find the boat. In the back of the pub, you will find a sink, and the sink is the boat. The problem is you can't reach it. To solve this problem, just turn on the water using the spigot nearby. This will cause the sink to fill, and when it is full the boat will sail its way out and onto the ground, allowing you to grab it.

The bad news is that there is an annoying woman in the pub, and she is not a fan of your goose shenanigans. She will notice that the sink is filling and will turn off the water. As such, after you turn it on, you need to distract her. The good news is here is that she hates your feathered behind with a burning passion, so if you mess with stuff within her field of view, honk like a lunatic, and generally do naughty goose stuff in front of her she will be intent on stopping you.

Just keep her distracted while the sink fills, then grab the boat and this particular to-do list item will be complete.

Untitled Goose Game: How to Sail The Toy Boat Under The Bridge

In this guide we will show you how to sail the toy boat under the bridge in Untitled Goose Game. This to-do list task takes place in the pub, and you will need to be sneaky to get it done.

Untitled Goose Game - Sail The Toy Boat Under The Bridge

The first thing you need to do is head to the back of the pub and find the sink. The boat will be in there, but you cannot reach it yet. Turn on the water, then distract the woman who comes to turn it back off again. You need to fill the sink so that the boat falls out, so keep her away from it until it has filled. As long as you keep her attention on you, she will forget about the sink.

When the boat falls, grab it and run under a table on the raised deck. Hide there until the woman looses interest and leaves. Then, carefully make your way down the steps and under the decking into the back area. You need to be careful that nobody spots you, or they will try and take the boat.

Make your way into the back area, where the gate and trash bin are, then either leave through the gate, or hop over the trash bin. Head down to the water and jump in with the boat. Swim to the bridge, then let the boat drop in the water and push it under the bridge to finish this challenge.

And that's it, the "sail the toy boat under the bridge" to-do list task will now be completed, so you can get busy doing other important tasks.

Rotom Teased by Pokemon Go Twitter Account

Rotom Teased by Pokemon Go Twitter AccountZack PalmSun, 09/29/2019 - 18:48

Early on Sunday, the Pokemon Go official Twitter account sent out a cryptic tweet many are regarding it as the development team's way to hint at the arrival of Rotom.

Here's the tweet for those interested in checking it out.

Rotom is an exciting Pokemon. While Rotom does not evolve, he has five alternative forms beyond his standard one. The creature attains these forms by taking over basic household appliances. For example, if the Rotom were to possess an over, it would become a Heat Rotom, and slightly look like the appliance. Typically, a standard Rotom is an electric and ghost-type Pokemon. When it changes forms, it retains its base electric-type but gains the focus of the new form.

Related: How to Complete the "Trade Pokemon 10,000 km Apart" Field Research Task in Pokemon Go

There are five forms in total, not counting its standard one: Heat, Wash, Frost, Fan, and Mow.

The base stats of the Rotom do not change, but the typing does. For trainers who are lacking a particular type of Pokemon in their line-up, they might enjoy using this Pokemon in the standard edition. If the creature were to make its way to Pokemon GO, we could see trainers vying for all six types of Rotom, wanting to catch them all. Each form could feature a variety of moves, making it a unique choice in any trainer's line-up.

Unfortunately, beyond the cryptic tweet, we did not receive any more information. We're going to want to learn more in the future, but we're likely going to see this Pokemon sometime near the end of the year, or even early 2020.

At this time, trainers are eagerly going through tourism research tasks and trying to get all of their rewards. If you're still having trouble with some of them, we have the complete list right over here. We also created a guide on how to complete those tasks, too.

What Time Does the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Beta End?

Have you been enjoying your time in the Ghost Recon Breakpoint open beta? It's been going on all weekend, and those who downloaded the game had a chance to check a small portion of what the new Ghost Recon title was all about. However, it's going to be ending soon. Due to some delays and some minor maintenance hiccups, not everyone knows when the open beta is going to go down.

When Does the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Open Beta End?

We know the official date is Sept. 29. That's right, the final day you can play the Ghost Recon Breakpoint open beta is the Sunday at the end of the weekend. The exact timing is 7 am PST, 10 am EST, 3 pm BST, and 4 pm CEST. If you were hoping to spend most of the day on Sept. 29 playing the game, we're sorry to disappoint you.

Related: What does the Silent-30086 Error Code Mean in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint?

Unfortunately, it happened at the beginning of Sunday for those in America, due to the issues the game had when the servers went online. Because the game is in open beta, it's expected for players to run into a handful of issues and problems with the game. A huge challenge for players was some form of silent error could, preventing their game from launching. This issue plagued a handful of systems during the initial launch process but seemed to have mellowed out over the weekend.

Due to the issues, Ubisoft may announce they're going to extend the beta for a few more days. Breakpoint does not release until the end of the week, on Oct. 4, across all systems. However, they may prefer to close down the servers to work out any other bugs players found when they were playing through the game. Hopefully, the small glimpse players had with the game was enough to have them commit to grabbing the title.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint officially releases on Oct. 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC through the uPlay store. If you haven't already you can still pre-order the game right now to make sure you're jumping into the game on day one.

Mario Kart Tour: How to Farm Coins

Mario Kart Tour: How to Farm Coins

Coins are the lifeblood of Mario Kart Tour. Players who do not want to rely on the game's premium currency, Rubies, to get items or new drivers are going to need to farm coins. You can use coins to buy from the available daily choices. These options change frequently enough to offer players a decent variety. But they're expensive. You need to play a lot of the game to make these coins worth it, too.

How to Farm Coins in Mario Kart Tour

Coin Rush

There are a few methods you can go about farming coins. The most obvious available option for players is to engage in the Coin Rush activity. Coin Rush is a course where you're going to receive a multiplier for how many Rubies you spend to go through it. Here are the Rubies you need to pay to go on the course and what multiplier you're going to receive:

  • 5 Rubies: Coins x 2
  • 15 Rubies: Coins x 6
  • 25 Rubies: Coins x 10

When you're going through the course, you're going to drive as Gold Mario, a Golden Version of Mario. He's going to suck up any coin he gets close to on the course, making it easier to collect all of the coins on the track. However, many you receive gets multiplied by one of the three choices you're going to spend.

Related: The Best Course to Receive 30 Coins in Mario Kart Tour

The Ideal Course

For those who prefer to avoid using any Rubies, they acquire from the game can merely go through a particular course over and over again. An excellent course for those to try and get a high degree of coins is Yoshi's Circuit. It has a smooth track overall, and if you time the turns correctly, you're going to find yourself racking up coins over and over again. Although it helps to have a driver who has a favored course. You can check to see what favored courses your drivers have by viewing them in the "drivers," option in the menu.

By choosing a favored course, you're going to increase the likelihood to get more useful items. The more damage and chaos you cause on the map to the other drivers are going to give you more points for you at the end of the race. You have the opportunity to get three item boxes with coins in them, too.

Can You Buy Them?

Beyond the standard method of playing the game, do players have the opportunity to purchase coins? The answer is no. You do not. While players are free to buy Mario Kart Tour's Rubies from the game's store, they do not have the option to purchase the coins. However, if you think about it, you are spending money to purchase Rubies to go through the Coin Rush game. But there's no clear method of paying for a set amount of money for a set amount of coins in the game.

You're better playing the game with one of your drivers on their favored route. You're going to get plenty of coins because you're going to be hitting other drivers frequently with all of your item boxes, and the chance to get coin item boxes increases with three available.

Is Rosalina in Mario Kart Tour?

There are over 20 drivers in Mario Kart Tour. We see a handful of them during the initial trailer when the game first got teased. However, some of them did not make it into the game because Nintendo wanted to draw out some of the drivers. They do have a limited roster, given the Mario franchise, and it makes sense to have players earn more as time goes by. However, do we have any expectations to see Rosalina in the game?

Is Rosalina in Mario Kart Tour?

Racers who are interested in seeing the wonderful character who first showed up in Super Mario Galaxy is going to make her way to the game, sometime in the future. At this time, we do not know the release date for the character. We do not have a sure-fire method of confirming if she's going to find her race car this year, or sometime in the future of 2020. We do know her and a handful of other confirmed characters are going to make their way to the mobile race tracks, eventually.

Here's the entire roster not presently in the game that we know are on their way:

  • Wario
  • Lemmy Koopa
  • Ludwig von Koopa
  • Waluigi
  • Roy Koopa
  • Luigi
  • Baby Luigi
  • Lakitu
  • Baby Rosalina
  • Morton Koopa, Jr.
  • King Boo
  • Wendy O. Koppa

There are plenty of drivers we're going to welcome back into the fray when Nintendo releases them to the game. They're likely going to get featured much like the newest character, Pauline, who Nintendo created for the Mario Kart Tour game. Right now, you can get it by throwing Rubies at the game's pipe, which gives you a chance to draw her among other drivers, vehicles, and gliders. You have a set amount of opportunities to draw her, and every driver, vehicle, and glider has a different chance attached to them. Rarer items have different, harder chances.

It's the newest drivers are going to only accessible through this system for the first few weeks when they come out. When Rosalina does arrive, she's going to be the featured driver. Now, the rarity and type of driver she's going to be has yet to release. The way Nintendo may do it is releasing an array of drivers of different quality at the same time, giving everyone the chance to get a new driver for their roster.

For now, we have little idea, other than knowing Rosalina will make her way into the game. When we do learn those details, we'll make the information easily accessible.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC Releases Today; Four Free Costumes AvailableMisael DuranMon, 09/30/2019 - 02:31

The first paid downloadable content pack for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is now available, and a free update gives players bonus content.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is the most recent entry in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series; it released during the past summer. It is an action-adventure game, with RPG elements. You take control of a team of four Marvel superheroes, and you hack-and-slash your way through your enemies. The game was well-received by critics; we called the game a frantic fun time.

Since the game was released, several free updates got added to the game. Characters like Colossus and Cyclops were added to the playable roster as free DLC along with New costumes for Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain America. However, players had to unlock these costumes by grinding through some difficult Infinity Rift challenges.

A DLC season pass got announced for the game early on. The season pass contains three different packs with each pack containing four new playable characters. All of them have a theme with the first pack getting based on Marvel Knights. The four characters in the first pack were announced to be Punisher, Blade, Moon Knight, and Morbius the Living Vampire. The subtitle for this first expansion is Curse of the Vampire.

The first pack was slated to release on Sept. 30 but released several hours earlier on the afternoon of Sept. 29. It includes a Gauntlet Mode, which is a series of challenges you need to accomplish in quick succession. Up to four players can play together for the Gauntlet, and after beating it, a new survival-like challenge will unlock. The survival-like challenge has similar missions as the Gauntlet. The goal now is to last as long as you can in a continuous loop of challenges.

Along with DLC pack, a free update also went live on Sept. 29. The free update includes a new Nightmare mode and new costumes for playable characters. New outfits for Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, and Thor were announced a while back, though now we know what costumes they will be.

Captain America costume comes from his super-soldier uniform, which he wore during his time not being Captain America in the comics. (It also served as the basis for one of his costumes in the Winter Soldier movie). Black Panther gets thrice-blessed armor, which is just a more armored up Black Panther. Iron Man gets his Extremis Armor, which is the armor he uses in the Extremis storyline in the comics. It also served as an inspiration to the Iron Man’s first suit in the first Iron Man movie. Thor gets his Ultimate costume. A costume Thor wears in the Ultimate Universe, which is an alternate universe of the main Marvel Universe.

At the moment, we do not know if players will need to do Infinity Rift Challenges to unlock the costumes. If not, then the costumes most likely are already part of the characters as long as the player downloaded the free update from Sept. 29.

Project Resistance Closed Beta Codes Being Sent Now Paolo SirioMon, 09/30/2019 - 04:45

Project Resistance closed beta codes are being sent now, as shared by a Resident Evil ambassador on ResetEra. We're close to the beginning of the beta, which comes out on Oct. 4.

"Hi Resident Evil Ambassadors, thank you for your continued support of the Resident Evil franchise!" says the email going out to those who applied for the closed beta. "Also, thank you for applying to participate in the Project Resistance Closed Beta Test for the PlayStation 4 available only to Ambassadors! We’re pleased to announce that you have been chosen from many applicants to participate!"

At the time being, the closed beta only goes to PlayStation 4 users. But the full game is launching on PC and Xbox One as well, at a yet to be disclosed date next year.

To be precise, your time on the client goes from Friday, Oct. 4, 12:00am to Monday, Oct. 7, 12:00am (PST). This timeframe is an "estimate," so things could change on the fly. In case you applied, make sure to check your email for this message with the PlayStation 4 code.

As you might have heard, the Project Resistance reveal hasn't been met with much enthusiasm among members of the community. People were already waiting for a Resident Evil 3 remake or Resident Evil 8 announcement after two games in a row in the RE series were massive hits.

However, Capcom has defended its choice to go and try something new. It's always been somewhat active in the multiplayer space they're capitalizing their efforts on the RE Engine. The excellent work done on the previous two titles to get back in a genre where they've never really been successful. Hopefully, they do this time.

Hideo Kojima Teases October 1 Death Stranding RevealPaolo SirioMon, 09/30/2019 - 04:54

Hideo Kojima has launched yet another teaser for Death Stranding on his social media accounts, hinting a new reveal should be coming very soon. In particular, the teaser is linked to the soundtrack of the game. If possible, since Kojima has shared a photo of him with the band CHVRCHES, and he is a great fan of them. He met them at his studio in Japan.

The Japanese game designer post let people on Twitter figure that we'll get to know the fruits of this meeting on Oct. 1, which happens to be tomorrow.

We don't have many details outside of the photo and the post. Kojima didn't say anything else in other tweets, but this seems to be a clear hint at CHVRCHES' music coming to the game.

Considering the release of the title is now close - it's already gold - there's a chance one of their existing songs might have chosen as the main theme. They may have written and played some music specifically for Death Stranding.

We'd rule out the chance that more gameplay or even a trailer could be coming our way. There's been so much coverage between Gamescom and TGS, and it looks too early for a launch trailer. Whatever it is, anyway, we'll get to learn more on Oct. 1, at an unspecified time in the day.

The Last of Us Part II has revealed more gameplay from last week's media event in Los Angeles. That and the latest trailer, we've learned some details about the story and the characters we're going to meet when it releases on Feb. 21, 2020.

We met a new human faction called the Washington Liberation Front. They are a brand new faction to the franchise. We have never heard of them before due to previous trailers focusing on clickers and all that sort of bestiality you've come to expect from the franchise. We also learned about Seraphites, a cult initially teased as the main villain. However, it turns out there's going to be multiple human groups in the game assuming this role.

The Washington Liberation Front are also called Wolves. They got the names due to the acronym of their name being WLF and being in Seattle. While playing as Ellie, we're going to have a moment where we'll pass through that city on our quest for revenge as this is the group that killed Dina.

In a recent interview, co-writer Halley Gross shared that the Wolves have been in Seattle for the last fifteen years. They've grown as an anti-outsiders group who only care about each other and themselves. They shoot on sight, and perhaps this is the reason why they did what they did to Dina.

We don't know whether we'll meet other human factions in The Last of Us Part II. But sure enough the landscape is much denser in comparison with the original, where you had the military and the Fireflies, basically; Fireflies which we haven't met yet if not for their logo in the 2016 teaser trailer.

Supply Drops, Survival PS4 Exclusive Reportedly Harm Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Pre-OrdersPaolo SirioMon, 09/30/2019 - 05:52

According to the most recent leak, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will allow players to buy supply drops. These supply drops include not only cosmetics but also weapons. This mechanic is a risk because it could give a proper advantage in the game.

Microtransactions have always been a controversial theme, and you can ask Electronic Arts about that. Still, things could change on the run since Activision and Infinity Ward has reportedly noted a massive decrease in pre-orders since the news of supply drops. The story started to spread, and the 1-year Survival PS4 exclusive has delivered.

"Activision and Infinity Ward apparently recent held a big meeting regarding my recent post about Supply Drops," said in a tweet known leaker TheGamingRevolution.

"The gist of it is that they’ve lost a tonne of pre-orders with the recent news of Survival being delayed by a year on PC/XB and the microtransactions news & are thinking about giving the player the options to earn them again."

As TheGamingRevolution notes, "nothing regarding microtransactions is set in stone, and like I’ve said countless times before, they are a constant work in progress, but my source wanted to let the community know that they care."

There's a chance this "source" is someone from Infinity Ward or Activision. So it might be true the developers behind the game are caring about people's reactions. They're doing all the tests and checks possible to make it the way people want it to be. Also, that's why betas launched in the first place.

For what matters regarding Survival, it's a business agreement between PlayStation and Activision. The developers can't do anything about that.

You won't see this agreement change. But we do understand your disappointment because we initially informed this year's CoD would launch without any platform exclusive. This fact did not happen and has perhaps gotten even worse than previous releases.

Brain Age And Stylus For Nintendo Switch Coming December 27Paolo SirioMon, 09/30/2019 - 06:04

Nintendo has revealed an official stylus for Nintendo Switch. It is going to release on Dec. 27, in Japan, while it has not been confirmed for the Western territories, even though we expect news to break soon.

The stylus is a throwback to the Nintendo DS days. It got announced alongside the latest Brain Age iteration, which is also coming to Nintendo Switch on December 27, 2019, in Japan. A stylus was set to release (for free) with the release of Super Mario Maker 2. But we don't know if there's going to be some changes outside of the official package.

It's releasing as a standalone item at the price of 864 JPY, about $9. It's also coming out with the release Brain Age game; Brain Age for$25 digitally, or $35 at retail. This version includes the stylus, so the two products are "connected" in terms of purpose.

Brain Age is the first Switch game to make use of the Home Button LED, as shared on ResetEra. It will make the console vibrate and turn the LED on when it's time to train. You can play it on the Nintendo Switch Lite, except for the mini-game based on the IR. This option does not come to the Lite version of the console.

Hopefully, we'll get more details about both the Brain Age and the Stylus releases in the Western territories. The territories release could get set to happen some point in 2020 given the December launch date of the game.

Destiny 2 - How To Get The Eriana's Vow

Eriana's Vow is an interesting new Exotic Hand Cannon that is coming to Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep. The gameplay that I have seen of it makes it seem like a Hand Cannon that plays almost like a bow. It also combines some exciting perks that potentially make it a nightmare to deal with in the hands of a skilled PvP player.

How To Get Eriana's Vow

This is the good news, or the bad news, depending on your point of view. The Eriana's Vow is tied into Destiny 2's new Seasonal Pass. People who purchase the Premium Pass will get access to the weapon at Rank 1, while people on the free pass will get access to the weapon at Rank 35. This means no strange quests or hoops to jump through; it just forms part of the Season Rank rewards that you will get from playing the game.

It is also worth pointing out that if you have purchased Shadowkeep, then you have the Season Pass, so you are good to go with this new Exotic as soon as you log in.

The Eriana's Vow comes with the intrinsic perk Looks Can Kill, "this weapon fires special shield-piercing ammunition. It comes with a scope". It also has the trait Death At First Glance, "Bonus damage when aiming down sights on the opening shot of an attack. This bonus is preserved if the shot does precision damage or strikes an elemental shield".

From the wording, I am taking this to mean the first shot against any target, and that you do not need to reload to regain the bonus against a new target, but I will need to get in the game and test it.

The weapon also has pretty much maxed out Impact and Range stats, meaning this will be lethal in the hands of people with precise aim, but it is tempered somewhat by the slow fire rate of 90 rounds per minute.

SNES Style Nintendo Switch Controller's UK page is Lagging, Crashing, and Not Loading— Here's What To DoAdam NewellMon, 09/30/2019 - 09:26

The SNES Nintendo Switch controller has finally gone up for sale on the Nintendo UK website, allowing anyone who is a Nintendo Switch Online customer to purchase the controller for £26.99.

Considering how sought after the controller was though and how many people want to buy one, it should come as no surprise that the store is currently in meltdown as fans from across the world try to purchase the controller, but it eventually sells out.

When loading into the page, it either lags or viewers are greeted by a slow spinning ball that never ceases to end, taunting potential buyers with what should have been an easy purchase.

If you also see this, then don't panic. The site has just been heavily overloaded right now with people trying to get a purchase at the same time. The page only just went live, after all.

Just keep refreshing the page now and again and eventually, you should be able to purchase the device for yourself. The issues should also be temporary as a lot of people are trying to get the controller at the same time as they are worried about it selling out.

Hopefully, however, this should not be an issue, so have some patience and wait for the site to lose its large influx of buyers and you should be able to get one.
