League of Legends Getting New Champion, Map AlterationsRobert WorkmanTue, 10/15/2019 - 21:47

Riot Games already made waves with its 10th anniversary live stream by announcing League of Legends’ forthcoming debut on the console and mobile front. There are also some major things coming to the original PC game as well -- namely, a new champion.

Senna is the latest champion to join the party, with the trailer featuring the character below. What’s more, there will be several new elemental effects that could change the course of the map for some players.

The long-awaited champ will arrive on Nov. 11. We don't know her abilities yet because the trailer was a cinematic, and not gameplay. However, it does give us an idea about backstory. We learn about her relationship with Lucian and how she was kept prisoner inside of a magical lantern. Riot has teased Senna to fans for quite some time, and now they get to see her in action next month.

Also, the Rise of the Elements update gives Elemental Drakes more influence during a match, marking one of the “biggest changes to Summoner’s Rift in years.” This change is getting applied on Nov. 21.

It’s best to keep a close eye on these neutral characters, if only because their effects can shake up a match. Cloud Drakes, for example, can create wind tunnels to get across a map much quicker than before. Meanwhile, Fire Drakes can burn through grass and walls like they were paper. There are several different ones to experiment with here.

Check out the trailer below and get ready for some massive updates next month, League players!

League of Legends is available now for PC.

Pokémon Go: How to Get Regigigas

New things are coming to Pokémon Go, and one of them is the introduction of Regigiggas. It's a massive creature, a Normal-type, and it's the big boss of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. It's going to get featured in a particular research quest called "A Colossal Discovery." There are two methods for locating Regigigas. You can wait until the event comes out in early November, or you can purchase a special ticket using real money to get the chance to go after it earlier.

How to Get Regigigas in Pokémon Go

Getting Access to Regigigas Early with A Colossal Discovery Research Event Ticket

Regigigas is making their first appearance in the game. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel have shown up before, but the big boss is going to get its first appearance.

For those who cannot wait to grab this Pokémon, you have the option to go in and purchase an extra ticket to gain access to it. Here's how you grab it when you visit the Shop.

  1. Tap on the "Learn More" button in the shop.
  2. Tap on the "Purchase" button. It's going to cost $7.99, or your local area's equivalent to this amount.
  3. You will then receive a pop-up indicating that you have received a ticket for A Colossal Discovery. Once you click, OK, the ticket will show up in your Item Bag.
  4. Before the event, you will receive a medal. When the event begins, and you open the app during the event time, you’ll gain access to the Special Research titled A Colossal Discovery.

When you grab the ticket, you'll have access to the event, but it's on a specific date. The A Colossal Discovery research event starts on Nov. 2, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in your local area.

Players who take part in this event are going to receive a variety of different tasks to complete during this event, which we don't know what they are right now. Those who are taking part in this event are going to have the chance to finish up these unique tasks following the event and take as long as they need to finish them.

You don't need to go to a specific area. The unique A Colossal Discovery research event is going to take place in whatever area you're in and doesn't restrict players, other than if they do not want to pay.

What are you going to get for being apart of this event? Here's what else:

  • A Colossal Discovery medal
  • Up to 10 additional Raid Passes at no cost during the Special Research story event time when you spin a Photo Disc at a Gym. These Raid Passes will not be available after the event period is over. You cannot hold more than one Raid Pass at once.
  • An Unova Stone, a Sinnoh Stone, and an exclusive avatar pose from conducting the Special Research

For those who want the chance to take part in the event, attempt to capture Regigigas before he shows up in November, this ticket is the way to do it. Now, throughout Niantic's blog post about trainers going after Regigigas early, they do mention the fact there's a "chance" for it to happen. Trainers who take part in the event could mess up, so be careful about this.

Getting Regigigas Beyond A Colossal Discovery

If trainers are not interested in paying the money for the opportunity to go after Regigigas, you're going to get the chance to tackle it in an EX raid event. The EX raid events are special raids happening at specific times. They're going to crop up on a particular date and time, so make sure you keep your eyes out for when this is going to happen. Niantic is going to release this information soon and at a later date.

You can read Niantic's full blog post about the event and what other exciting activities they're going to have for November. For example, from Nov. 1 to 4, players have the opportunity to capture Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in five-star raids.

League of Legends Fighting and First-Person Shooting Games AnnouncedRobert WorkmanTue, 10/15/2019 - 22:12

There’s a lot of great League of Legends news coming around with Riot Games’ 10th-anniversary live stream. So far, we’ve gotten confirmation that the game is coming to consoles and mobile with Wild Rift; and a long-awaited champion, Senna, has also been confirmed. But the publisher isn’t done yet, as it has two more games with entirely different play styles that will tie into the series.

First up is a fighting game. Yes, League of Legends is getting a fighting game. It’s called Project L, and this is not the final name. While it’s officially in development, fans shouldn’t “expect anything soon.” Still, an appearance at EVO wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Although a developer wasn’t confirmed for the game just yet, it does appear to be the work of Radiant Entertainment, whom Riot Games acquired back in 2016. They previously worked on the free-to-play Rising Thunder, which was a fun cult favorite before the game shut down shortly after the studio’s purchase.

It’s unknown which characters will appear in the fighting game. But the screenshot indicates we could see several champions debut in it. We’ll let you know as soon as more information is available.

Then there’s a shooter game, also taking place in the League of Legends universe. The studio considers it a tactical shooter built around characters, akin to Blizzard’s Overwatch in a way. It has a group of various developers working on the game but hasn’t spilled the beans on who just yet. There's also a touch of CS:GO, which fans may like.

The team is hard at work on the shooter, which doesn’t even have a project name yet. It’s due sometime in 2020, though the team made it clear that, again, it’ll “go dark” on details until they’re officially available.

Between these two games and Wild Rift, Riot is going all out to appeal to new audiences for its League of Legends franchise. We’ll see what happens in the months ahead.

Riot Games Debuts League of Legends Card Game, Legends of RuneterraRobert WorkmanTue, 10/15/2019 - 22:25

The news from the League of Legend's 10th-anniversary live stream continues to pour in tonight. There’s some good news for players who have been looking for an alternative to Blizzard’s Hearthstone, considering the recent events surrounding the company.

Tonight, the publisher announced Legends of Runeterra, a new card game that takes place within the LoL universe, featuring many existing characters. The roster won’t be as beefy as the main game. There are only 24 different characters across six regions in the game.

Like Hearthstone, players will collect cards and create a deck of custom characters to battle against others. There are several favorites, including Teemo, Fiora, Garen, and Draven, are coming to the game.

Various locations will be taken straight from LoL, including Demacia, Frelord, Piltover, Zaun, Ionia, the Shadow Isles, and Noxus. So it’ll be familiar territory to fans. When you play games in each region, you’ll earn additional cards.

Perhaps the most important thing with the game is that it won’t pound you with microtransactions. The developers confirmed that the game wouldn’t force you to buy random packs to unlock cards. Players only need to progress throughout each region to continue playing.

The game is just about ready to go into closed beta. And what’s more, the official website for Runeterrahas begun taking pre-registrations. Those that are interested in giving the game a try should jump on this, as the beta will go live right after the live stream ends.

Who’s ready to play cards? We know a lot of you League fans are. The final game will release for PC and mobile in early 2020. Check out the breakdown video below!

Riot Games Is Also Working On a League of Legends Action/RPGRobert WorkmanTue, 10/15/2019 - 23:10

The team at Riot Games kept quite busy with its 10th-anniversary live stream tonight. It announced League of Legends would finally make its debut on mobile and consoles with Wild Rift. It confirmed a new fighting and first-person shooting title based on the LoL universe. It has a card game ready to put Hearthstone out of business. So what’s left? How about something that’s set to steal Diablo’s thunder?

During the showcase this evening, the team showed off a new project that looks to be an action/role-playing hybrid along the lines of Blizzard’s long-running series. Though the glimpse at the game was brief at best, it does have an official name -- Project F.

They described the game as a “project that explores the possibilities of traversing the world of Runeterra with your friends,” indicating that it’s ripe for multiplayer.

Considering it’s set to take place in the League of Legends universe, it wouldn’t be a shock to see several champions from that game make their way into this one. They'll bring their array of special attacks with them too.

Project F is still very early in development; and doesn’t even have a release date or platform information at this point. But it’s great to see Riot Games expand all the same, and give some new genres a try -- and maybe even give Diablo a run for its money.

Riot will have more information on Project F at a later time, possibly in 2020. For now, there’s Wild Rift to consider, which will debut much sooner.

League of Legends Stepping Into the Animated Series Realm With ArcaneRobert WorkmanTue, 10/15/2019 - 23:23

Riot Games has announced it’s set to produce its first animated series -- and it’s a doozy.

The publisher debuted the first trailer for Arcane, a new series debuting sometime in 2020. It will take place within the League of Legends universe, firmly placed through the cities of Piltover and Zaun.

We don't have too many details regarding the animated series' story. However, there are specific characters that appear from the LoL universe. These include fan favorites like Jinx, Ekko, and Ezreal.

Arcane’s animation looks to be an in-house project, considering that the series' team is meant up of animators who have worked on trailers introducing champions. But this seems to be a full-blown jump into storytelling. The arcs could build up and develop events happening in the game.

Riot Games didn’t confirm where the series would make its debut just yet, only that it’s in the works. There’s always the possibility of Riot pairing up with a streaming service exclusively. They might release it directly themselves as part of a way to drum up its fan base. More details are likely going to come out in the months ahead.

In the meantime, fans can check out the teaser trailer below and get a good idea of what the series is all about. It has a distinctive style, along with a cinematic soundtrack and a slew of top-notch actors filling the roles. We’ll see what the final series brings soon enough.

CoroCoro Reveals Gigantamax Forms For Meowth, Charizard, Eevee And Pikachu In Pokemon Sword And ShieldMisael DuranWed, 10/16/2019 - 02:59

A new cover to CoroCoro reveals the Gigantamax forms for Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, and Charizard in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

CoroCoro is a Japanese magazine that is known to share new information on upcoming games and other Japanese related pop media. In the past, the magazine has shared a lot of exclusive Pokémon news.

Serebii discovered the cover for an upcoming issue for CoroCoro Ichiban. The cover is filled with many images based on Japanese pop culture, with the main focus of the cover being about a bunch of new Kirby merchandise. However, on the right-hand side, below the large blue text, there is a brand new image for Sword and Shield.

The image shows the Gigantamax forms for Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, and Charizard. Gigantamax is a new feature for Sword and Shield; it is an ability that allows Pokémon to become giants and change their forms.

It was leaked a while ago that Pikachu’s Gigantamax form would be a retro, fat Pikachu look. Pikachu originally had a much chubbier look before slimming down to his more thin design. His Gigantamax form is a reference to that.

It was also leaked that Meowth will be getting a Gigantamax form. In this new form, Meowth becomes very tall and thin. Eevee’s Gigantamax form is the least different; Eevee’s fur collar becomes thicker in the Gigantamax form.

Charizard’s Gigantamax form is the most drastic change. Not only does Charizard grow in size, but flames are also spewing from all over his body, not just on the tip of his tail. His shoulders and back are now covered in fire, and he looks more monstrous. Charizard’s Gigantamax design is very akin to the Kaiju monsters, as seen in Godzilla movies.

Game Freak plans to reveal more information on Pokémon Sword and Shield later in the morning. It isn’t known if these new Gigantamax forms are what they are planning to reveal in the morning, though it is most likely it.

"Heavyweights" Tournament Coming To Super Smash Bros. UltimateMisael DuranWed, 10/16/2019 - 03:53

A Heavyweights Tournament is going to become available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Oct. 18. It will star the heaviest playable characters in the game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the most recent entry in the highly successful Nintendo crossover, fighting game franchise. The series stars the most famous Nintendo protagonists and antagonists, as they all fight against one and another in a match to determine who the best there is. More recent entries in the franchise began incorporating characters that are owned by different companies, like Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII and Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury.

Ultimate has been doing monthly tournaments with a specific theme. August had heroes versus villains theme, whereas September had a Mario theme. Players can compete in these tournaments online, and can only choose characters that match that tournament’s theme.

This month’s theme is called Heavyweights, and it will feature the heaviest characters in the game. Japanese Nintendo listed these characters as being part of the heavyweight category: Donkey Kong, Samus, Dark Samus, Bowser, Ganondorf, Wario, Ike, King Dedede, Bowser Jr., Ridley, Simon, Richter, King K. Rool, Incineroar, and Piranha Plant.

The Heavyweights tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is slated to start this Friday, Oct. 18. It will last through the weekend.

Mario Kart Tour - Use A Bullet Bill

New weekly challenges have arrived in Mario Kart Tour! The game continues the fun in the Tokyo Tour, and one of the new challenges is to use a Bullet Bill. In this guide we will show you how.

Mario Kart Tour - Use A Bullet Bill

The Bullet Bill is an item that you can get from item boxes during the race that will turn you into a massive bullet, sending you speeding down the track, smashing through opponents. The good news here is that because it is an item from a box, you don't need any specific driver, kart, or glider to finish this challenge, and it can be done on pretty much any course.

The real trick to this challenge is to get into last place, as this will give you the highest chance of getting the Bullet Bill from a box. To get into last place, try a Rocket Start by pressing down on the screen, but rather than waiting until the two count, start pressing too early, and hold on too late, this will cause your car to spin out at the very start of the race.

This should put you in last place, and after that it is just a matter of trying to hit every oil patch, banana skin and obstacle on the course that you can. Just keep picking up item boxes and it shouldn't be long until you get the Bullet Bill item. Before then, you might get other speed items like the Mushroom, so just make sure you don't overtake anybody if you use them.

When you use it, prepare to speed down the track, and depending on how far back you are, this could easily get you back into first place for the win.

Mario Kart Tour - Do Five Rocket Starts

The Tokyo Tour continues in Mario Kart Tour, and new weekly challenges have arrived to put your driving skills and game knowledge to the test. One of the new challenges is to do five rockets start, so in this guide we will show you how.

Mario Kart Tour - Do Five Rocket Starts

This is another nice challenges because you don't need any particular driver, kart, or glider to do it. You can also do it on any course. Obviously you can only do one Rocket Start per game, so you have the full week to get this done.

To Rocket Start in Mario Kart Tour, press on the screen when the countdown hits 2, then take your finger off right as the race begins. After you press on the screen at 2, your wheels take a moment to hit the engine but should start to spin up and send some sparks flying.

You want to lift your finger the second the race starts because you don't want to accelerate off at a strange angle, ruining your line at the start of the race.

A Rocket Start will normally propel you out to the front of the pack, so you won't be able to do this and something like the Bullet Bill challenge in the same race, unless you are very good at finding your way to last place. I'd suggest just running five quick races and getting this challenge over and done with so you can focus on others as soon as possible.

Mario Kart Tour - Do 20 Jump Boosts In A Single Race

The new weekly challenges are here in Mario Kart Tour. The Tokyo Tour continues with even more challenges that you can use to earn Grand Stars and badges. In this guide we will show you an easy way to get 20 jump boosts in a single race.

Mario Kart Tour - Do 20 Jump Boosts In A Single Race

You can do this challenge with any driver, kart and glider, it doesn't matter how you pick. The most important thing is your choice of course, and there is a single clear winner when it comes to getting this challenge done.

The very first race in the Tour, Tokyo Blur T in the Rosalina Cup, is by far the best choice for this one. The course is filled with ramps, jumps, and small obstacles in the road that you can drive over to get a jump boost.

Jump boosts are small burst of speed that you get every time your kart jumps, no matter how small the jump is. The Tokyo Blur T is absolutely perfect because it has so many of these jump boost causing obstacles. Just hop in the race with any driver and you will be able to easily knock this one out. Just remember to hit all those small jumps on the left side of the track in the latter part of the course and you will finish this one up in no time.

If you need the help, we also have a guide on how to use a Bullet Bill, and how to do five Rocket Starts to help you power through those weekly challenges as well.

Mario Kart Tour - Earn A Score Of 7000 Or Higher Using A Driver Wearing A Shell

The Tokyo Tour in Mario Kart Tour continues, and one of the challenges this week is to get a score of 7000 or higher using a driver wearing a shell. In this guide we will show you how to quickly wrap this challenge up.

Mario Kart Tour - Earn A Score Of 7000 Or Higher Using A Driver Wearing A Shell

First, you will need the correct driver, and thankfully there are lots of options when it comes to a driver wearing a shell:

  • Koopa Troopa
  • Iggy
  • Larry
  • Lemmy
  • Ludwig
  • Morton
  • Roy
  • Wendy
  • Bowser
  • Dry Bowser

I would suggest going for this challenge on the 3DS Toad Circuit T, as part of the Toadette Cup. It is a long race, with a huge amount of obstacles, jumps, items and turns that you can easily use to rack up 7000 points. Pick the driver, kart and glider combination that will give you the best possible points for each one, then be sure to do the following while racing.

  • Having a higher driver, vehicle, or glider level
  • Hitting other drivers with items while playing
  • Collecting coins
  • Hitting a drift to get a boost
  • Preforming a jump boost
  • Finishing at a higher placement, such as first

The real trick is to build up the largest combo that you can, by threading lots of smaller actions like jumping, drifting, and using items and picking up coins. This will give you large multipliers, easily letting you hit that 7000 points mark. Also, keep in mind it might take you just a few turns around the course to learn where everything is, and how to get the best score.

Death Stranding Review Embargo Lifts on November 1Paolo SirioWed, 10/16/2019 - 05:17

Death Stranding review embargo is lifting off on November 1, 12:01 am Pacific time. The news was shared by Metacritic's Twitter and Instagram social accounts, even though those shares have been quickly removed, as seen on ResetEra, and now it's officially confirmed by several outlets like GameSpot.

There's always a chance that that information might have been wrong, thus leading to their removal, but it's most likely that Sony hadn't given its approval for those to be shared so early in the process. Now it's instead time for it to be official.

So, let's take a look at what all this means. First of all, it means the obvious, that we'll be getting Death Stranding reviews all over the place eight days before the official release.

Related:Death Stranding "feels it's only starting" after ten hours

Second, it also means that Sony and Kojima Productions are quite confident about their game, so much that they're allowing the press to talk about it so early before the launch.

Publishers are getting us used to reviews popping up on the Internet very, very close to the release date, if not upon day one, in order not to harm sales with disappointed and disappointing critics. If that doesn't happen, it's usually a sign of confidence in the product they're launching.

As gamers, we could not be happier to see the embargo date is confirmed, but be sure to check on that once again in the future as things could change by the time Death Stranding releases on PS4.

Mario Kart Tour - Use A Heart Three Times

New challenges have arrived in Mario Kart Tour. It is the second week of the Tokyo Tour, so we have all new challenges to keep us on our toes. In this guide we will show you how to use the Heart three times.

Mario Kart Tour - Use A Heart Three Times

The most important part of this challenge is using the right driver on the right course, this will allow you to finish it up as quickly as possible. The Heart is a special skill that some drivers have that will protect them from any incoming attacks.

Wendy has the Heart as her special item, and can Frenzy on the Choco Island 2 course. If you get a Frenzy, you can just spam the ability, so if you are lucky and get a Heart Frenzy, you can wrap this up in one race.

Peach is a great driver to use. She also has the Heart special skill, but can Frenzy on Koopa Troopa Beach R, Koopa Troopa Beach T, Yoshi Circuit R, and Mario Circuit 1T.

Daisy has the Heart special ability, and can Frenzy on Daisy Hills, Daisy Hills T, Cheep Cheep Lagoon R, and Shy Guy Bazaar R. Using any of these drivers on the courses that allow them to Frenzy should let you finish up this challenge pretty quickly. Just keep on spamming them until you get to use the Heart three times.

Lady Gaga Asks "What's Fortnite," And The Internet Goes CrazyPaolo SirioWed, 10/16/2019 - 05:31

Lady Gaga has once again made a quick trip back and forth gaming on Twitter a few hours ago.

The popstar is known around gamers not only for her music but also because for a certain amount of time she's posted about her love for Bayonetta, which she's played and shared about on her official social account a couple months ago. The artist was also rumored to be a guest in Cyberpunk 2077.

Now, Lady Gaga has shaken once again the world of gaming asking people what is "Fortnight," evidently out of curiosity because of the black hole that has destroyed for a couple days the entire game and spit it out in a new form called Chapter 2.

She asked her followers "What's Fortnight" misspelling the name of the game just to know what it is, and reactions of fans have been crazy. A lot of accounts of brand like Discord, Netflix, even Ninja, Mixer, Twitch, Pornhub (for some reason), and more have answered that question inviting her to play with them or just to have some fun.

This clearly gives the idea of how popular Fortnite is right now, in a moment where people started to believe (and trends were on the walls, to be honest) that the game was going through a slow but steady decline. Epic's move to basically reboot it was bold, had a great timing, and totally paid off, it seems.

The Outer Worlds Will Only Be Enhanced On Xbox One XPaolo SirioWed, 10/16/2019 - 05:46

As you might know, The Outer Worlds is in a quite weird position where it is a Microsoft game but is also releasing on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch outside of Xbox One and PC because it is published by another label, called Private Division, which had previously secured funding and rights to do so.

This could lead the game to be a bit better on Xbox One, at least from what we know now, as the publisher has revealed that it will only be enhanced on Xbox One X, leaving PS4 Pro without those improvements that could come in a better frame rate or, specifically, a higher resolution.

Windows Central has asked Private Division about the matter and was said that The Outer Worlds will be offered at "4K on Xbox One, no enhancements for PS4 Pro." No further details were provided about the reasons, nor more in-depth technical particulars were shared at this stage.

The situation, again, is quite weird if you consider that this game is multi-platform, and consumers have the right to have it at the best of its condition wherever they purchase it -- and it doesn't matter that Obsidian is now Microsoft-owned, or at least it shouldn't.

A similar situation has happened with We Happy Few, where Compulsion Games had provided a 4K presentation on Xbox One X and only sticked to 1080p on PS4 Pro after Microsoft acquired the studio, and it had already signed a publishing deal with Gearbox.

Destiny 2 - How To Complete The Scour The Rust Pursuit

Lord Saladin is back, bringing the Iron Banner to Destiny 2. New Light players might be a little confused, so let's get to business. Iron Banner is a special PvP event that will happen a couple of times each Season. You load into the Crucible at the behest of Lord Saladin and engage in combat where Power Level matters.

This time around, there is a pursuit called Scour the Rust that you will need to complete to get your special Iron Banner armor. You also need to finish it to be able to spend your Iron Banner Tokens earned for winning rounds and finishing the four Bounties that Saladin will have available. The good news is that if you enjoy the Banner, you can grab those Bounties multiple times and grind out some Pinnacle Gear.

To start the Pursuit, visit Lord Saladin in the Tower. He can't be missed, surrounded by burning braziers and giant metal wolf heads.

Scour The Rust - Iron Banner Pursuit

Scour the Rust is a multiple-step pursuit that will ask you to perform various actions in the Iron Banner. It is mostly designed to try and get people to explore weapon options, and play the objective in one way or the other.

Keep in mind, all these steps need to be completed in the Iron Banner, and if you need a specific weapon for any step, then that weapon type will drop for you as a reward from completing the previous step! If your inventory is full, it will go to the Post Master at the Tower, so be sure to check there if you need it.

Spectacle

  • Capture 10 Zones
  • Get three Super kills
  • Defeat 30 Guardians

Intent

  • Defeat 25 enemies with a Pulse Rifle
  • Capture 20 Zones
  • Complete 6 matches

Timing

  • Defeat 20 enemies with Fusion Rifles
  • Defeat 100 enemies
  • Capture 30 zones

Execution

  • Capture 40 zones
  • Defeat 15 enemies with your Super
  • Defeat 15 enemies with SMGs

Conviction

Please note, this step is currently bugged, and kills with SMGs will be counted as Rocket Launcher kills. Thankfully, Rocket Launcher kills still count as well, so double up on those weapons in your loadout for this step. I expect this will get patched fairly soon.

  • Capture 50 zones
  • Complete 15 matches
  • Get 10 kills with Rocket Launchers

Each completed step will drop you a piece of this Season's Iron Banner armor for your class, and once you are done, you can visit Lord Saladin at the Tower to hand in the pursuit and get the final piece. Once that is done, you can then spend your Iron Banner Tokens with Saladin to try and get good rolls for new gear.

Stellaris Mobile Game Stole Halo 4 ArtworkPaolo SirioWed, 10/16/2019 - 06:31

Paradox has just launched a mobile game based on Stellaris, called Stellaris: Galaxy Command, which you could've played for a few hours on iOS and Android in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Sweden. We're using the past for a particular reason.

The game has indeed been brought offline because players noticed that it was coming with artworks stolen from another title, Halo 4. The artwork in question (and there could be many others) was created by 343 Industries technical art director Kenny Kagnusson.

As you can see below, the artwork included in the game is the same as Halo 4's, despite for an overlay with the character of Stellaris: Galaxy Command talking to you to give some proper input to start a mission. Hilariously, that overlay is covering UNSC logos, but it can't cover vehicles that are kind of iconic in the universe of Halo.

"We have learned that artwork inside Stellaris: Galaxy Command was taken from another source," publisher Paradox wrote in a tweet. "We are immediately removing this content from the game and we are deeply sorry to our fans and to the affected creators."

The game has been brought offline, as said, and we don't know when it's coming back. Sure enough, it will have to go through a very serious check in order to establish what has gone wrong and what it still has wrong before pre-releasing it again.

This game has some good artwor... wait. from r/Stellaris
