Four-player Cooking is Coming to Pokemon Sword and ShieldZack PalmWed, 09/04/2019 - 18:47

Pokemon Sword and Shield will have even more open-world mechanics with the introduction of cooking. Players are going to get the opportunity to cook for their Pokemon while they rest in a camp.

While players are resting in their camp, they can get the opportunity to play with them and show them affection. A Pokemon's affection levels may affect how they perform in combat, making the relaxation activity an important one.

The camp also features a massive pot in the middle of it where players can become their group's head chef to cook a lovely curry meal. There are over 100 curry recipes in the game that players can discover, each with a different effect. Not every Pokemon is going to appreciate the same meal, meaning players need to figure out which ones work with every Pokemon.

Additionally, when visiting other trainers in the open area, players can visit another trainer's camp to check out their Pokemon. It's an excellent way for two players to relax with each other and hang out. We didn't learn too many details about the new feature, but it's an open-world aspect brand new to the franchise.

We're looking forward to making our favorite curry meals in Pokemon Sword and Shield when it releases on Nov. 15 for the Nintendo Switch.

Wonder Trade Possibly Coming Back To Pokémon Sword And Shield As Surprise Trade

Wonder Trade Possibly Coming Back To Pokémon Sword And Shield As Surprise TradeMisael DuranWed, 09/04/2019 - 18:50

Serebii reports that the wonder trade function is returning to Pokémon Sword and Shield. In footage of Sword and Shield at today's Nintendo Direct, Serebii spot an option of "Surprise Trade," which looks like the same thing as Wonder Trade in past Pokémon games.

Wonder Trade is an online feature that came about in Pokémon X and Y. Wonder Trade allows any player to send any of their Pokémon to be traded with a random trainer online. Neither you nor the other player you're trading with know which Pokémon they are getting, and which player you chose to trade with is entirely random.

There is no official confirmation if Surprise Trade is the new Wonder Trade, though Serebii reported on their Twitter account as if it is a confirmation. The phrase "Surprise Trade" sounds too similar to what Wonder Trade does that it does appear that the Surprise Trade option will be the new Wonder Trade.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are the upcoming eight generations of Pokémon games. The games take place in the Galar region, an area based on the real-world UK. Several new pieces of information came out during today’s Nintendo Direct, which includes character customizing and new Pokémon.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are slated to release on Nov. 15.

Alcremie to have 16 variations in Pokemon Sword and ShieldAdelaide WeissWed, 09/04/2019 - 19:41

There will be 16 versions of Alcremie in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Polteageist and Cramorant aren’t the only Pokémon getting some attention after the September Nintendo Direct. Alcremie is showing off some style changes of its own as it makes its debut in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The Fairy type Cream Pokémon will have 16 variations in the game.

In a Twitter update from Serebii, including pictures, it appears Alcremie will have a series of different color variations. These don’t even include a shiny version of the Pokemon.

Each variation appears to be a different flavor with a unique topping. Those toppings are Alcremie’s little hair clips. Some have short green clips, others hearts, others blueberries, and others still have strawberries. The base can be anywhere from the default cream color, to pale blue, pale green, white, or yellow. Alcremie might appear as one solid color or with a pattern in the hair.

Variations within one Pokémon aren’t unusual, but 16 is undoubtedly the highest. The last with a similar number of color variations came out during Generation Six’s Vivillon with 11 different color variations. With Vivillon, players could only get different color variations based on where they lived. These variations were to encourage trading between players to get all the colors.

Currently, we do not know what causes Alcremie to display its different colors, but we can look to find out in the future.

Pokémon Sword and Shield comes to the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 15.

Two new faces appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield Promo ArtAdelaide WeissWed, 09/04/2019 - 20:04

Nintendo’s newest promotional art for Pokémon Sword and Shield reveals some new faces.

With Pokémon Camp on the way, Nintendo unveiled a new piece of promotional art. The image features the two main trainers, some of the new mascot Pokémon for the series, the camp features, and surprisingly, two unknown faces.

Pokemon and trainers camping with food

Hidden among all the Pokémon, next to the camping tent, and by the giant cauldron of a cooking pot, are two trainers. The first, in the back, is a young girl with dark skin and corded hair. The second is a pale blond boy with glasses fanning the flames to cook the food.

These two may be nameless stand-ins for other player characters. Their varying appearance could be a representation of the character customization feature, showing off the different haircuts, skin, and eye colors available. Since there can be up to four players in-game preparing the curry, these two additional trainers may be simply representations of that.

Alternatively, and a more exciting, optimistic theory, is that they’re currently unknown trainers that we will eventually meet along the way.

Pokémon Sword and Shield comes out on Nov. 15. With the two and a half months to go, more information may come out about these trainers.

Undertale's Sans comes to Super Smash Bros Ultimate as a Mii Fighter CostumeAdelaide WeissWed, 09/04/2019 - 20:57

Popular Undertale character, Sans, is coming to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate as a Mii Fighter Costume.

Nintendo’s recognized Toby Fox and his popular game, Undertale, in their latest addition to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.

Mii Costumes are addons for the Mii Fighters available in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. The Mii Fighters take Miis, customizable avatars created by the owner of the Switch or Nintendo account, and allow them to participate in the brawl. Mii fighters can have three classes, Brawler, Swordfighter, and Gunner. The Sans costume will be for a Gunner Mii Fighter.

Sans himself first appeared in Undertale, which was a cult hit. The game is known for its Genocide and Pacifist runs, both of which are important for understanding the whole game. Most players will end up with a neutral ending first since it’s unlikely they will go out of their way to trigger the Genocide route without prior knowledge. Pacifist runs will not face Sans in battle but will see him as a charming, skeletal side character with his brother Papyrus. However, he shines in the Genocide run with his notably complicated combat mechanics.

Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, posted the news on his Twitter account after the Nintendo Direct reveal.

Also, players that get the Sans Mii Costume will receive a particular version of Sans’ theme song, Megalovania composed by Toby Fox specifically for the costume.

Be sure to download all of the newest Mii Costumes coming to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch.

Deadly Premonition 2 Is Coming But Only For The Nintendo SwitchNeil GrayThu, 09/05/2019 - 02:43

The original Deadly Premonition is one of the most broken games ever to get released. It's a complete mess with terrible shooting mechanics, driving that wouldn't be out of place in an old PS One game and a control system that is a tank at best and unusable at its worst.  But for all its faults, of which there are plenty, it's a game that I, and many others, absolutely love.

It's a prime example of the whole being more significant than the sum of its parts. Its world is more alive than a lot of AAA titles as the NPC's go about their day, regardless of what you're doing. The main character, Francis York Morgan, is a brilliant creation who is a part master detective and part Fox Mulder, and his supporting cast isn't too shabby either, and the story is so out there that, as a lifelong Twilight Zone fan, it's something that Rod Serling would've been proud of.

Sadly though, no matter how much we begged and pleaded for a sequel it seemed that one would never see the light of day, but here we are, nine years later, and the news we'd waited so patiently for was finally confirmed in last nights Nintendo Direct stream.

Deadly Premonition 2

Deadly Premonition2: A Blessing In Disguise is a Switch exclusive that is scheduled for release at some point in 2020. The game will follow FBI agent Aaliyah Davis as she opens up a 14-year-old cold case that will also open up a doorway to the past. In New Orleans, we'll catch up with Francis York Morgan as he looks into the original happenings of the case and through time jumps we'll play as both characters, in the past and the present, as they try to figure out just what's going on.

I've got to say I am unbelievably happy about this. It's the one thing that has convinced me to go out and buy a Switch because up until this point I had zero interest in the console but the chance to return to one of my favorite characters in gaming in a whole new scenario, then you can sign me up for that. Here's hoping that Nintendo doesn't try to polish Deadly Premonition 2 in any way whatsoever as that would miss the point behind why so many people loved it the first time around.

Remnant: From The Ashes - Best Builds And Loadouts

Three people stand against a horde of enemies, mostly Root.
Jeremy OwensThu, 09/05/2019 - 04:16

Remnant: From the Ashes is one of those games that is fun because of the playstyle diversity. In a group of friends, we've tried all kinds of different builds, and none of them felt unworkable. Still, it was true that some perform better than others, letting you clear parts of the game faster than others.

Remnant: From The Ashes - Best Builds And Loadouts

Here are a few samples of the ones I've found work best:

Single Shot Cheese

Cheesing single-shot weapons are one of my favorite things in any game of this nature. I instantly tip my hat to a game that gives me some ability or item with text like "the last shot in the magazine deals XX percent bonus damage" and also provides weapons with one shot before reloading.

Remnant provides a couple of options for this. The Slayer armor (the full set bonus give a +35 percent damage bonus to the first shot after reloading) and the Bandit armor (which offers a 35 percent chance to replace a spent bullet on a hit).

The latter tends to be better, but the Slayer armor is respectable with massive single-shot damage weapons like the Sniper Rifle, which you can get early and scales very well into the late game.

The Bandit set though is very much a DPS focused build, so it's quite entertaining to fiddle with. You have a lot of options to play around with. I tried the Sniper Rifle, Hunting Pistol, Sporebloom, the infamous Devastator, and the Ricochet Rifle across the course of the game.

The Devastator is by far the best option; five chances to restore ammo essentially means you're getting it back every time; whiffing is an anomaly, not the rule like with most other weapons. This climbs higher with the use of Catalyst. Sporebloom (a boss Shotgun from Earth) is a close second, as each shotgun pellet similarly has a chance to return ammo. Devastator's increased range often wins out, but I like Sporebloom's Mod and close range potential a lot.

For handguns, I suggest you get something reliable aside from the build synergy. You might be tempted to use the Hunting Pistol and go all in, but remember: you are never running out of ammo in your long gun. If you swap to your handgun, it is because it provides something your long gun does not. I like the Hive Cannon, but the Revolver is also a solid choice.

This build puts out great damage at both long and close range, and is very forgiving; you can use pretty much any weapon that meets the criteria, and almost all rings and amulets are good. For my money, though, the quick breakdown.

Single Shot Items:

  • Long Gun: Devastator or Sporebloom
  • Handgun: Your Preference (Hive Cannon for me)
  • Melee weapon: Riven
  • Head Armor: Bandit Mask
  • Chest Armor: Bandit Jacket
  • Leg Armor: Bandit Trousers
  • Amulet: Gunslinger's Charm
  • Ring 1: Hunter's Halo
  • Ring 2: Braided Thorn or Mother's Ring (depending on if you need more damage or survivability in the current situation).
  • Mods: Locked by suggested weapons to Skewer and Hive Shot.
  • Key Traits: Quick Hands, Executioner, Kingslayer, Catalyst, Mind’s Eye
  • Akari Builds: Mod God and Switch Hitter

The Akari Set was already tempting pre-buff, but after Thursday’s patch, it started to shine. If you don’t mind living on the edge and needing a backup plan for bosses that can’t be effectively melee attacked (like Ixiliss), this build goes fast and furious.

Your choice of melee weapon is the biggest decision you’re making here, but thankfully there are a ton of good options. For my money the two you can get on Yaesha from the same boss are best: the Guardian Axe or Scar of the Jungle God, depending on your playstyle focus.

The former hedges your bets a bit better and lets you do more fancy tricks by giving you massive Mod power generation, while the latter is simply a massively damaging melee weapon with a brutal DoT effect. Plus, it looks cool.

I suggest you start your character as a Scrapper for this build, or any melee build, as Warrior (the melee damage Trait) can be a pain to get if you don’t start with it, whereas Spirit and Shadow Walker are a bit easier.

You want reliable ranged weapons that can get you out of a pinch with this kind of all-in, risk/reward style build.

For the Guardian Axe, consider focusing on high utility mods and weapons that have or can support them, and make sure those weapons are reliable and easy to handle quickly. The Blink token makes a stellar engage and disengage tool, particularly paired to a weapon that can make good use of that engage ability like the humble Shotgun or the Magnum Revolver. Yeah, they’re not fancy, but your focus is on the Mods and melee, not the ranged weapons.

For the claws, your options open a bit, but the same philosophy is there: good, reliable weapons. Sporebloom is again a good option, along with weapons like the Particle Accelerator which are great for a “switch hitter” playstyle where you soften enemies from afar then engage in melee while advancing. Another bonus to the Particle Accelerator is that Gravity Core is excellent for grouping enemies to sweep through with your melee and to watch them bleed to death while helpless.

Mod God Items:

  • Long Gun: Shotgun, Coach Gun, or Ruin
  • Handgun: Magnum Revolver, or any specific boss weapon for preferred Mod
  • Melee Weapon: Guardian Axe
  • Head Armor: Akari Mask
  • Chest Armor: Akari Garb
  • Leg Armor: Akari Leggings
  • Amulet: Butcher’s Fetish
  • Ring 1: Leech Ember
  • Ring 2: Root Circlet
  • Key Traits: Warrior, Spirit, Executioner, Kingslayer, Arcane strike, Rapid Strike, Swiftness
  • Mods: Blink Token, Flicker Cloak, Mantle of Thorns, Undying (Ruin only)

Switch Hitter Items:

  • Long Gun: Sporebloom, Particle Accelerator, Ruin
  • Handgun: Magnum Revolver, Defiler
  • Melee Weapon: Scar of the Jungle God
  • Head Armor: Akari Mask
  • Chest Armor: Akari Garb
  • Leg Armor: Akari Leggings
  • Amulet: Butcher’s fetish
  • Ring 1: Leech Ember
  • Ring 2: Hunter’s Halo
  • Key Traits: Warrior, Spirit, Executioner, Kingslayer, Arcane strike, Rapid Strike, Swiftness
  • Mods: Undying (Ruin only), Flicker Cloak, Breath of the Desert, Gravity Core (Particle Accelerator only)

Summoner

This one is pretty straightforward: you want minions to do your dirty work.

Your options are limited, but not entirely without choices, and Mods are your biggest focus. The minion summoning mods are Rattle Weed, Seed Caller, Beckon, and Iron sentinel.

This build aims to make use of the Soul Anchor item to increase the number of your summons.

Mod generation is key for this build, so the Cultist set is excellent for this. The weapons you use are entirely up to personal preference, but keep in mind that not all weapons allow their mods to be changed.

I like the Sniper Rifle and Submachine gun for this. Both allow your choice of mods (of the summonable creatures I suggest Iron Sentinel, with Beckon as a close second), and both build mod power very quickly and have a solid crit rate.

Summoner Items:

  • Long Gun: Sniper Rifle
  • Handgun: Submachine Gun, Magnum Revolver
  • Melee Weapon: Guardian Axe
  • Head Armor: Cultist Hat
  • Chest Armor: Cultist Duster
  • Leg Armor: Cultist Britches
  • Amulet: Soul Anchor
  • Ring 1: Heartseeker
  • Ring 2: Braided Thorns
  • Key Traits: Spirit, Executioner, Kingslayer, Quick Hands, Trigger Happy, Handling
  • Mods: Iron Sentinel and Beckon or Rattle Weed depending on the situation.

Support

Our final build for today: the support main. There’s a surprising amount of support for the Support build for a game with only three players, but it’s welcome to see it. You get a lot of neat tools with this build, and most of what makes it what it is are the Traits you max and your Mods rather than the weapons or armor you use.

Your main goal is to say alive, pick up any allies that drop, and buff them whenever possible. For that reason, the Elder Set and twisted Set are probably best, but you could justify pretty much anything; this is a flexible build.

For full Support time, though, the new and improved Elder Set is key. Combined with the Cleansing Jewel, you will heal all nearby allies for your entire Dragon Heart amount and cleanse them of all status effects; common and deadly from even early stages of the game.

Combined with support mods like Storm of Swords, you stay alive and become a sort of mobile command point for your allies, which is a legitimately fun playstyle.

Due to the range limitations, you want to stay at a relatively neutral distance; not too far and not too close. Perfect for weapons like the Hunting Rifle and Coach Gun.

  • Long Gun: Hunting Rifle, Coach Gun, Ruin (just in case)
  • Handgun: Magnum Revolver, Hunting Pistol
  • Melee Weapon: Guardian Axe or Riven
  • Head Armor: Elder Headress
  • Chest Armor: Elder Raiment
  • Leg Armor: Elder Leggings
  • Amulet: Cleansing jewel
  • Ring 1: Celerity Stone
  • Ring 2: Heartseeker
  • Key Traits: Spirit, Executioner, Kingslayer, Triage, Glutton, Revivalist
  • Mods: Song of Swords, Corrosive Aura, Veil of the Black Tear, Howler’s Immunity, Undying (Ruin only)

There are, of course, more builds out there than can be counted, and all work pretty well, but these few have never gone wrong for me.

What Is WoW Error 51900101 And How To Fix It

World of Warcraft, like most games, throws up several error codes if something goes wrong like the game crashing. In this case, WOW51900101 is some login error, and it tends to be widespread.

This error has cropped up a few times over the years, sometimes with benign causes and sometimes not. Supposedly when Blizzard has been DDOS'd (Distributed Denial of Service; a cyber-attack which prevents access to an online service) in the past, this same error message has appeared. However, it also sometimes happens before or after server maintenance or some patch.

There are some fixes you can potentially try; some users report that clearing your WoW cache or uninstalling and reinstalling the game work, but others report those methods failing to resolve the problem. The issue with this error is almost certainly server-side, and so will need to be fixed on Blizzard's end whenever it appears for most users, though some may get lucky and occasionally bypass whatever the real problem is when attempting to log in.

World of Warcraft Classic: Best and Worst Specializations

World of Warcraft Classic: Best and Worst Specializations

World of Warcraft Classic’s nine classes have a slew of options to juggle when you get deeper into the game, and none more important than their specializations. Each class gets three, and they can be mixed and matched as you please but to get the real goods, you tend to have to go pretty deep.

Choosing your primary spec is essential, and it can be easy to choose the wrong one (especially with certain classes) if you don’t know what you’re doing. So here’s a quick breakdown of each class’s specs and whether they’re good for PvE, PvP, or both.

World of Warcraft Classic: Best and Worst Specializations

Druid

Druid gets kind of a raw deal in vanilla WoW, being behind the curve for both PvE and PvP. Their best specialization is Restoration (PvE), while both Feral Combat and Balance are poor at both of the primary facets of the game unless you know what you’re doing.

Hunter

Hunter gets a lot of options with its specs, though the one constant is that the best general-use specialization is Marksmanship (PvP and PvE). Survival is a close second, with a lot of solid options, and Beast Mastery is niche but potentially viable with a lot of luck and micro, but both will be combo’d with Marksmanship as your primary talent tree.

Mage

Mages deal huge single target ranged magical DPS, and will perform excellently in that role no matter the specialization. In general, however, Frost (PvP and PvE) is your bread and butter spec, with Frostbolt being your most efficient damage dealer for most content in WoW Classic. Arcane is a good supplementary tree (with most Frost builds using nearly as much Arcane), and Fire looks great on paper (and is in later patches and expansions) but struggles when the endgame for WoW Classic features a ton of fire immune or resistant enemies, so is best avoided.

Paladin

Paladins primarily fulfill a Healer or Tank role (off-tank, mainly). While they excel at the former and are solid at the latter, in either case they will be heavily speccing into the Holy (PvE and PvP) specialization. Tank Paladins will have more Protection and less Holy and Healer Paladins vice versa, but both will heavily use it. Neither wants much out of Retribution 9the DPS spec), making it the worst specialization.

Priest

Priest is an exciting class that can be both a great healer and ludicrously efficient DPS character in some circumstances and builds. Still, for the most part, Holy (PvE and PvP) is going to be your best bet, with Shadow (PvP) and Discipline (PvE and PvP) also being hugely viable options in their own right. Still, Holy is used in more builds and situations across the game, so it narrowly takes the top slot.

Rogue

All Rogues do is damage and lots of it. All of their specs are great at it, with Combat (PvE) taking the edge for being used the most often to round out a build. However, Rogues have a distinct split in focus between PvE and PvP, with Subtlety (PvP) being the clear winner there. Assassination is no slouch, and is splashed in both PvE and PvP, but is rarely the powerhouse driving force behind a build.

Warlock

It’s a tough call for Warlock, and almost entirely down to personal preference whether Destruction (PvP and PvE) or Affliction (PvP and PvE) is better. One does DoT, one does burst, but they’re both equally excellent. Demonology is a distant third to the other two, being primarily used for Raids where you can’t trust your tanks.

Warrior

Warriors excel in both PvE and PvP as either tanks or DPS. All of their talent trees are almost neck and neck with each other for usefulness, with Fury (PvP and PvE) pulling ahead for just general use, being a crucial part of both DPS and Tank builds in different measures. Protection (PvE) is a close second, being, of course, the key behind a Tank Warrior’s success, and Arms (PvP) is just behind that, being little used for PvE, and only to boost the effectiveness of Fury for PvP.

World of Warcraft Classic: Class Tier List

World of Warcraft Classic: Class Tier List

World of Warcraft, like any other game, offers a wide variety of options, is going to have a disparity between those options. While every option is viable (even necessary in high-end raids), the further you go off into the woods from the optimal strategies, the more difficult things can get, so you need to know what you’re doing for off-meta builds. And if you pick one of the sub-optimal builds by mistake…well, you could find yourself having a bad time.

That’s what this guide is here for, to break down the WoW Classic classes by overall ranking to help you choose your next character.

WoW Classic Class Tier List

S Tier

Warrior – both Protection and Fury Warrior are excellent for PvE; the former is the best (some would say only) Tank option in the game, and the latter is some of the best PvEDPS the game offers. Combined with the fact that they scale ridiculously well with gear, and once you hit 60 (which can be an excruciating experience, mind you), they’re a powerhouse that no other class can match. They’re no slouches in PvP with the Arms spec either, so they’re jacks of all trades, master of some even if they’re not so great for duels.

A Tier

Priest – Healing is an important role, and none do it better for PvE than Holy Priests. Engaging to play with a lot of utility (like Dispel Magic!), they bring a lot to the table. As a bonus, Shadow priests do excellent single target DPS, and Discipline is excellent for PvP, so you have a lot of options to choose from; Priest does it all.

Mage – Mages provide excellent DPS in all their specs, though can be a bit boring to play (hope you don’t get tired of casting Frostbolt from 1st level on up to 60), and suffer from having somewhat of a “dead spec” in that many prominent endgame enemies are fire-resistant or outright immune. Still, their damage in combinations of the Arcane and Frost specializations are second to none, and they bring a lot of utility to the table with conjured food and water when leveling.

Rogue – Rogues are to melee DPS what Mages are to ranged or magical; essentially unparalleled in their specific niche. Every Rogue specialization is good to some extent in some combination with the others, and they can make quick work of most opponents in both PvE and PvP

Warlock – While the pet build is somewhat lackluster, Warlock makes up for it with the sheer brutality of Affliction and Destruction when it comes to focusing down single targets. They’re great in both PvP and PvE content and can swap from one to the other without missing a beat.

B Tier

Paladin – Paladins make it here almost solely by dint of the Holy specialization, but it’s a doozy; being able to off-tank while providing oodles of healing is a huge role, and offsets the fact that in Classic WoW their other specs are kind of lackluster. Their builds are pretty much the same for both PvE and PvP focuses, so at least it’s a simple choice.

Hunter – Hunters output excellent damage and slam through PvE content solo like nobody’s business. While they fall off a bit at endgame, they’re still great in raids for kiting bosses and similar tactics. While their damage is equally brutal in PvP, players find it a lot easier to exploit their weakness to foes getting up close and personal, dropping them a bit down the list.

C Tier

Shaman – Shamans have three equally impressive specs to choose from, and have a wide variety of abilities and builds to try. Unfortunately, they don’t bring the house down with any of them, but they’re the kind of class that no matter what you pick you’re going to be decent (if a little lackluster in PvP). They shine a lot more in PvE where, if nothing else, everybody loves a Restoration Shaman and getting that sweet, sweet Windfury.

Druid – Similar to Shamans, Druids are jacks of all trades with three distinct and exciting specs. And, like Shamans, they suffer from the “hybrid tax” of being okay at anything, but great at nothing. Restoration Druid is typically the one people like to see in PvE, and none of Druid’s specs are super great in PvP, leaving them in a bit of a poor spot in Classic.

Keep in mind with this list what I said earlier though: everything is viable (this is true for any half-decent MMO as well). You can and will complete top tier PvE content no matter what you choose, so don’t feel constrained to picking just the “best” class. Player skill plays a part beside the build options and gear, and if you’re dedicated to making your off the wall pick work, it will work.

Warframe - The Emissary Outbreak Mission Guide

Nightwave Series 2 continues in Warframe, and it appears that Arlo is up to something. New Outbreak Missions have begin to appear, and Zealot Derelicts have been showing up on the map. In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know.

Warframe - The Emissary Outbreak Mission Guide

Warframe Outbreak Missions Counter

When you look at the Star Map, you will be able to see a counter for active Outbreak Missions above the Nightwave button, as shown in the picture above. This counter will only appear when there are active Outbreak Missions. It will tell you what planets the Outbreak Missions are on, and how many you have yet to complete.

Warframe Invasions List

The Outbreak Missions are standard Invasion missions, but will always involve the Infested. All you need to do is check the Invasions tab, and you will be able to see the Outbreak Missions listed there and can choose to take part in them.

When you have completed three missions for one node, you will receive your Battle Pay. Once again, this is just like a standard Invasion. Where it differs is that your Battle Pay takes the form of a Zealot Derelict Code, which will give you access to the Zealot Derelict that you can find on a new node, above the planet that the Outbreak Missions took place on. Upon completion, the code is used up, and you need to get a new one for future missions. You need to have one of these codes to take part in the mission, and if someone in your party does not have one, you cannot piggy-back them in.

Rewards

Completing a Derelict node will get you 1500 Nightwave Standing, which is a nice bump if you are still working your way towards Rank 30, or even if you are grinding out some of the rewards.

Zealot enemies have also had their bounty rewards bumped up to 200 Standing. The Derelict missions will spawn two new types of enemies, Undying Flyers and Leaping Thrashers. According to Reddit user Xionema, the Thrasher can drop a new Sigil upon death.

Warframe - How To Get A Zealot Derelict Code

Zealot Derelicts have started to appear in Warframe as part of Nightwave Series 2. Arlo is clearly up to something, and all good Tenno need to try and stop him. To do so, you will need a Zealot Derelict Code. These will give you access to the Derelict, and whatever mission that they contain. Keep in mind, you will not be able to join the mission at all if you do not have a code, and you will not be able to get piggyback from someone who does. All members of a squad must have a code to be able to start the mission.

Warframe - How To Get A Zealot Derelict Code

Zealot Derelict Code

Getting a Zealot Derelict Code is very simple; it is just a little bit ambiguous in the game. What you need to do is complete Infested Outbreak Invasion missions. If you look at your Navigation screen, you will see a small counter above the Nightwave button that will tell you how many Infested Invasions are active, and what planets they are located on. This will only appear if there are active Derelicts on the Star Chart.

Just go to the planet, then look for the Invasion icon on the nodes. Alternatively, you can click the Invasions tab in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and select the mission from there.

Like all Invasions, you need to complete the mission three times to secure your Battle Pay, which is a Zealot Derelict Code. Once you have the code, you can access the mission, complete it, and get your rewards. The Derelict can be found on a new node, in orbit around the planet where the Invasions are taking place, as shown in the image above.

Elden Ring June 2020 Release Date Leaks Paolo SirioThu, 09/05/2019 - 09:06

During E3 2019, despite a few leaks, Elden Ring got announced. It's the latest game from the developers of the Dark Souls franchise, From Software. It is returning to work with its publishing partner Bandai Namco after releasing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with Activision.

As of right now, we haven't seen any gameplay from the title. We only have a CGI trailer from the Microsoft press conference, but we do know that it is coming in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While the exact release date is still unknown, we have an exciting clue about it thanks to a new leak.

According to famed retailer Target, as shared by GamesRadar+, Elden Ring is releasing on June 30, 2020. Now, such dates typically act as placeholders, but this time there's something more to it. June 30 is a Tuesday, in fact, and that is the day when most titles get released in North America.

Also, considering we've seen so little about the game until now, there's a chance From Software might take advantage of E3 2020 to further show it in public. Doing so could let them use the hype of the E3 momentum.

Finally, 2020 is the year of the PlayStation 5, and Xbox Scarlett releases. It'd be easy to state Elden Ring might be coming well ahead the Holiday season. Anyone could have guessed a bit earlier than June, but that would make sense anyway.

In case you missed the previous news, this is the game Hidetaka Miyazaki, and George R.R. Martin is working on together. It's a title many fantasy fans are going to want to observe.

Days Gone Getting New Game Plus, Two Difficulty Modes Next WeekPaolo SirioThu, 09/05/2019 - 09:35

Bend Studio is implementing New Game Plus and two new difficulty modes on Days Gone next week, it announced. The release is expected to drop on the PlayStation 4 exclusive post-apocalyptic open-world game on Sept. 13.

New Game Plus can start from any save game where a player has finished the “I’m Never Giving Up” storyline.

You can play NG+ on any difficulty level; Easy, Normal, Hard, Survival, or try it in one of our two new difficulty modes: Hard II and Survival II. It doesn't matter what previous difficulty mode a player finished it. However, these new difficulty modes are not specific to NG+ and can be experienced by brand-new players as well.

Also, Bend Studio is introducing new trophies available to earn in two new NG+ modes. "Including one related to a mysterious new weapon from an agent that only operates in the shadows," hinted the team.

As you can see, the developer is not limiting itself to challenges to fuel its open-world title. Days Gone might have started not on par with the likes of God of War and Spider-Man, but it's, sure enough, a substantial experience.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - How to Use The Clutch Claw, Tips and Tricks

The clutch claw is a useful tool you're going to want to use while playing Monster Hunter: World's latest expansion, Iceborne. You're going to find yourself using it to close the distance between you and the monster you're hunting. While it's a new tool and you're going to use it often, here are some excellent tips to help you in getting the most out of it this early in the game.

Tips and Tricks on How To Use the Clutch Claw in Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne

Clinging to Different Body Parts Matters

When you have the opportunity to grab a monster, you're going to notice the small, red reticle shifting all over the beast. Before you fire the tool, you're going to have the chance to choose what body part you want to grab onto. You can latch to a beast's head, body, and tail. For example, when you're grabbing onto the monster's head, you can use all of your currently equipped slinger ammo to send the monster flying.

Stamina Matters for Everything

No matter where or how you grab onto your current hunt with the Clutch Claw, you need to observe how much stamina you have. You're going to need it the entire time you're riding your potential catch. The biggest thing is that you're going to need it to change from body part to body part, and you're going to use it to hang on when the creature is lashing about. If you don't watch your stamina, you're going to find yourself flung off significantly faster than you want to be, and you're going to need to wait to try it again.

Slam Monsters into Walls

When you're riding the creature, your goal is to soften the target's armor or hit them enough times to have it drop slinger ammo. This difference gets determined based on the weapon you're using, which we're going to discuss in the next section. However, while at the head of the creature, you can unload your slinger ammo and send the monster flying. When you do this, you should try and lead the beast to a wall, so when it does fling in the other direction, it's going to slam into a wall. If you get it to hit the wall, it's going to lose a substantial amount of health all at once. It's a great way to chunk at a complicated creature's health bar steadily.

Heavy and Technical Weapons Do Different Things

When you're riding the creature, your weapons are going to go for different targets. If you're hitting the monster with a heavy weapon, you're going to soften the armor of a particular body part, which is going to make it easier to knock off. You'll start noticing specific sections fall easier when you've landed and begin bashing the thing from the side. However, technical weapons are going to hit the monster, and you're going to drop slinger ammo pieces on the ground. You, or are your party, can start picking these up to fire back at the creature and send it home.

Heavy Weapons:

  • Charge Blade
  • Great Sword
  • Hammer
  • Heavy Bow Gun
  • Hunting Horn
  • Lance
  • Switch Axe

Technical Weapons:

  • Bow
  • Dual Blades
  • Gunlance
  • Insect Glaive
  • Long Sword
  • Sword and Shield

Start with The Basics

The best thing you can do when you first receive this tool? Do the one-star quest on the Job's Board to learn how to use it. From here, you're going to follow the game's opening about the tool, giving you the best opportunity to try it out in a low-stress environment. Even if you've played the games for hundreds of hours, it's a solid start to go out there and take care of what the game freely gives you. Why turn down a free walkthrough to learn how to use the tool? You're going to need it. After you're down, you can go to town on any monster you go after, moving forward.

Ghost Of Tsushima Will Be At Tokyo Game Show, But There's A CatchPaolo SirioThu, 09/05/2019 - 09:49

The remaining next big exclusives for PlayStation 4 are slowly arriving the market over the next few months. Death Stranding is releasing on Nov. 8, The Last of Us Part II is rumored to release sometime in May 2020, and Ghost of Tsushima may have run into some trouble.

Going by the latest rumors, we 'know' that the game by Sucker Punch is a bit late on the target. Sony might want to use it to showcase the features of the PlayStation 5, on top of the PlayStation 4 version that's going to release.

However, Sony now has listed Ghost of Tsushima in its Tokyo Game Show 2019 lineup, which sparked a bit of hope and illusion among fans. The title was introduced as present with a "trailer," even though it won't be playable. What's worse, though, is that the trailer won't feature new gameplay features.

"I'd imagine they're just showing our old trailers at the booth," said Andrew Goldfarb, Sucker Punch communications manager. "We have no plans for TGS."

It's weird to see that Sucker Punch learned from the Internet that its game was going to get shown at the incoming Tokyo Game Show, which happens from Sept. 12 to the 15. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get anything new from the event.

Overwatch Nintendo Switch Port By Iron Galaxy, Runs At 30fpsPaolo SirioThu, 09/05/2019 - 10:11

Overwatch is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It's arriving on Oct. 15, which is in a month. This port is going to bring the first-person competitive shooter game for the first time in a handheld mode.

Community manager Nazih Fares shared the first details about the game's performance on Nintendo Switch. Fares also shared which is going to be the developer of this new version - that is not going to be worked (at least not entirely) internally at Blizzard.

"We worked closely with Iron Galaxy to bring the game to Switch," said Fares when asked about who's working on this newest version of the FPS. "They've been a great partner to work within the development process."

Iron Galaxy is known for its work on ports, which include triple-A titles getting ported over Nintendo Switch. Among those, we can find Skyrim, Diablo III, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Also, in terms of performance, we have some first particulars about how Overwatch is running on Nintendo Switch. It's coming with a 900p resolution on TV mode and 720p in handheld mode. However, it is going for a 30fps only frame rate - half the frame rate of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

That could be a bit disappointing, but sure enough, it's the cost to have a stable gameplay experience on both the modes. We can get why Blizzard is so careful when it comes to talking about cross-play, as 30fps will make it for a very different game on Switch.

NBA 2K20: Can You Play It Early?Neil GrayThu, 09/05/2019 - 10:21

Tomorrow sees the launch of 2K's newest installment of their NBA franchise, NBA 2K20. Ever since it was first announced, fans of the series have been foaming at the mouth to get their consoles and PC's fired up for some sweet B-Ball action. So much so in fact, that there have been rumors doing the rounds that you might be able to play the game a day early. But are they true? Can you get your copy of NBA 2K20 to run today, September 5th?

NBA 2K20

NBA 2K20: Can You Play It Early?

It seems that where there's smoke, there might actually be fire, at least this time, but only if you live in the United States of America. If you've pre-ordered the digital copy of the game, you can now download it to your chosen weapon, but the servers won't go live until midnight EDT. This does mean, however, that if you live on the West Coast, the game will be available for you to start enjoying at 9 pm on the 5th.

If you want a physical version of NBA 2K20, then Best Buy is promising that it will be selling copies before they close tonight and there is also rumor that Gamestop will be doing the same thing. The best thing you can do in this situation is to phone whichever store you have in your neighborhood and asking them if they're going to be participating in this event.

As for the rest of us, well, we're just going to have to wait. Or move to America within the next 12 hours.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne - What is Master Rank?

Players in Monster Hunter: World are going to have plenty to do this week with the latest Iceborne expansion. This expansion adds a brand new ice-filled land for players to explore, full of frigid and angry monsters to hunt. However, those who are wondering about the new weapons and armor are probably running into a brand new term called Master Rank. It's a new tier above what players have been using, and it adds new content to the game. Here's everything you need to know about Master Rank in the game.

What is Master Rank in Monster Hunter: World's Iceborne?

The new rank is going to unlock a plethora of new content for players. Those interested in exploring through the game are going to want to become familiar with the term and learn how to unlock. Mostly, it's a new ranking system players are going to use to scale their progress through Iceborne. Not only is it going to unlock new assignments, but it's going to provide players with new weapons, armor, decorations, and new Master Rank monsters to hunt.

Unfortunately, the Master rank is not going to open up to every Monster Hunter: World player. It's going to remain exclusive for those who purchase the Iceborne exclusive. For those interested in getting further in the game than they already are, you'll need to buy the expansion and begin to progress through. Naturally going through the expansion's story is how you're going to unlock it and gain access to this higher tier content.

How To Unlock Master Rank in Monster Hunter World's Iceborne

At a minimum, you're going to need to have completed the Land of Convergence assignment. Achieving this is going to start the Iceborne content, and after that, you're going to need to double-check to see if you've reached Hunter Rank 16. Those are the minimum requirements players need to meet.

Following those, you're going to need to progress to the Enthusiastic Fiver in Astera. You and your handler are going to go on an expedition together, where you're going to find Master Rank unlocks once you arrive at Hoarfrost Reach, the brand new area in Iceborne.

However, a player's Master Rank is going to level in small doses. It's set to level up as they progress through the story of the new area, ensuring players getting accustomed to the new area, expanded mechanics, and everything there is to do in the ice-based environment.

You're going to find you can do a great many new things with the ranking system. Go out there and find out what else you can do in the latest Iceborne expansion!

FIFA 20: Predicting The Best Young Player For Each Position

FIFA 20: Predicting The Best Young Player For Each Position

The other day I took a stab at predicting The Best Player For Each Position for EA's upcoming release, FIFA 20. Outside of one entry that you could call a wildcard, I'm pretty sure that I nailed it and after the game is officially released I look forward to taking all the plaudits and praise that I will undoubtedly be showered with. Or the howls of derision and utter mockery that will be aimed my way because I got every single position wrong.

This got me thinking though, predicting the best players overall is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, all you've got to do is, have a passing knowledge of the game and who are presently the world beaters and away you go, but could I do it with young players? That's what this guide is for, to see if I can. A few rules before we start, all players will be judged on their potential and not where they are as of now, I will try to limit it to players 21, and under if at all possible, and any young player who made it into the previous article is null and void here.

FIFA 20: The Best Young Player For Each Position

Gianluigi Donnarumma

Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma

Right out of the blocks, we have one of the more apparent inclusions on this list. The 20-year-old AC Milan shot-stopper can be one of the greatest goalkeepers ever to pull on a pair of gloves, as long as he doesn't do a Balotelli and let it all go to his head. He's had a few run-ins with Milan's Ultra's and, in all honesty, the sooner he's out of that club and playing for a big team the better, but when you can count Buffon and Dino Zoff amongst your admirers, then the sky truly is the limit for the young Italian.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Right Back/Wing Back: Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The correct answer here is, of course, Trent Alexander-Arnold. It's always Trent Alexander-Arnold but having made the rule that any youngster that appeared in my other guide can't appear here then I've had to look elsewhere. Which brings me to Aaron Wan-Bissaka. If he was still at Palace, then he wouldn't even be in the discussion, but with a £50,000,000 move to Man united all done and dusted I doubt very much if his POT rating doesn't reflect this.

Matthijs de Ligt

Centre Back: Matthijs de Ligt

It says a lot about the state of the modern game that Matthijs de Ligt's agent, Mino Raiola, convinced him that he shouldn't move to Barcelona but instead head for Juventus. The reason was that the Catalan's had refused to pay him a whopping agent's fee and the Italian's were more than happy to stump up the blood money. Which is a shame as, at the time of writing, he's only played one of their two games and didn't cover himself in glory as The Old Lady shipped three goals against Napoli. This won't take away from the fact he'll be the highest potential Centre Back in the game, and you must pry him away from Juventus as soon as you can.

Theo Hernández

Left Back/Wing Back: Theo Hernández

This one is so far out of left-field that I have to use a picture from FIFA 18 for him, but as I'm trying to keep this to players who fill their position naturally, then Theo Hernández is the man for the job. I could've gone with CB's that can play on the left, or RB's that do the same, but this Real Madrid prospect is sure to be at the top of any pure Left Backs with the high potential list you care to mention.

Sandro Tonali

Central Defensive Midfielder: Sandro Tonali

When you're 19 years of age, and you're already drawing comparisons with Andrea Pirlo, that can be a lot of pressure to place on a young man's shoulders. With the way that Sandro Tonali holds himself on the pitch, you'd hardly know it. The Brescia CDM is already on his way to being a world-class player, and it won't be long before the bigger clubs come sniffing around for his services. If not this coming January then you can expect him to be on the move after the 19/20 season.

Houssem Aouar

Central Midfielder: Houssem Aouar

Confession time. Before I played FIFA 19, I had no idea who Houssem Aouar was but having done so series scouting I ended up managing to grab him from Olympique Lyonnais at quite a bargain, thinking he'd sit in my Liverpool reserves or on the bench for a couple of seasons. By the end of his first year in the Premier League, he'd cemented his place in my starting line-up and hasn't been out of the side since. This leads me to believe that he'll easily be the youngest CM in FIFA 20 with the highest potential.

Phil Foden

Central Attacking Midfielder: Phil Foden

Pep Guardiola has gone on record stating that Phil Foden is the most exciting prospect that he's ever worked with. Just let that sink in for a moment. The man who made Messi the greatest player in the world, EVER!, says that this 19-year-old lad can be even better. If that's not reflected in his POT rating in FIFA 20, then there's something wrong in EA headquarters.

Jadon Sancho

Right Wing/Midfielder: Jadon Sancho

What did you expect? The lad's on the cover of the goddamn game.

Vinícius Júnior

Left-Wing/Midfielder: Vinícius Júnior

At the tender age of 19, Vinícius Júnior is already looking to establish himself in the Real Madrid squad. He may not be one of the first names on the team sheet just yet, but it is only a matter of time before Zidane turns to him week in, week out. Last season he managed 21 appearances throughout the season and managed to bag himself a couple of goals in the process, so don't be shocked when he becomes the breakout star that he's destined to be over the next few seasons.

Kylian Mbappé

Striker: Kylian Mbappé

And finally, in another move that is as plain as the nose on your face, Kylian Mbappé is going to be the best young striker in the game. The fact of the matter is that PSG has been unbelievably stupid during this transfer window and should've binned Neymar back to Spain as soon as Madrid and Barca came sniffing around. The quicker they tie their flag to Kylian Mbappé's mast and let him be the star they build the squad around then the better chance they have of winning the Champions League and to be taken seriously as a footballing threat, instead of a rich man's plaything.
