Destiny 2 - Vex Mind Components Guide

Vex Mind Components are a reward that you can get from the Seasonal Pass by Ranking up. You might be wondering what they do, and we are the hero to help you out.

Destiny 2 - Vex Mind Components Guide

As you rank up your Seasonal Pass in Destiny 2, you will get Vex Mind Components as a reward. In the item description, it tells you to offer them to Ikora in exchange for Vex weapon artifacts.

At the moment, taking them to Ikora will do nothing at all. We all must wait until the Vex Offensive begins before we will be able to use them. The Vex Offensive will start on Oct. 5, the same day as the new Raid, and will feature a new in-game activity where you take on the might of the Vex.

Not much is known about it right now, but if you look carefully at the map of the moon in your Director, you will see Vex Invasion Zones are marked out there.

So, until the fifth, you should stay ranking your Seasonal Pass, completing Shadowkeep content, and leveling up as much as you can so that you will have plenty of might on your side when the Vex shows up.

As soon as the Vex Offensive begins, and we know more about Vex Mind Components and their uses, we will update this guide accordingly.

Magic: The Gathering and My Little Pony Team Up for Extra Life CharityBryan LawverThu, 10/03/2019 - 14:38

Magic: The Gathering is teaming up with My Little Pony to release a limited edition set of cards based on the popular series of rainbow-colored equines. It’s a mash-up that’s sure to leave some people very excited and everyone else scratching their head.

The collaboration, called Ponies: The Galloping, consists of three physical cards with matching playmats, plus four digital card sleeves for Magic: The Gathering Arena. If the whole thing seems a little silly, keep in mind that it’s for a good cause. As IGN reports, all proceeds from the series will benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital through the Extra Life Charity.

The three unique cards in the set aren’t tournament legal, and wouldn’t function very well even in casual play. For instance, one card references other cards that don’t exist in the game. One of them requires the player to use a My Little Pony toy, and another has an ability that makes other players “become your best friend.” These were mostly for more for collector's items to raise money for charity than actual cards. While their actual abilities remind me of the parody card packs that Wizards of the Coast has released periodically throughout Magic’s lifetime.

While there's no serious intention for the cards’ abilities, their art is no joke. The illustrations look every bit as good as a typical Magic: The Gathering card, with work by artists Andrea Radek, Jennifer L. Meyer, and John Thacker.

The cards and playmats will be available exclusively through HasbroPulse.com from Oct. 22 to Nov. 5, with the digital sleeves on sale in Magic: The Gathering Arena from Oct. 28 to Nov. 4. Proceeds will go to Extra Life, a charity that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals through gaming initiatives. Wizards of the Coast has partnered with Extra Life before for events based on Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. Headquartered in Seattle, the company is donating profits from this fundraiser to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Pokemon Sword And Shield Won't Have 18 GymsMisael DuranThu, 10/03/2019 - 14:49

There won’t be 18 gyms in Pokémon Sword and Shield, as previously stated.

Over the last few days, Game Informer has been sharing a lot of new information on Sword and Shield. These details include an exclusive interview with the game’s director Shigeru Ohmori and producer Junichi Masuda. Game Informer also exclusively shared there will be a major and minor Pokémon League in Sword and Shield.

Fans already knew there was going to be specific Pokémon gyms that will be exclusives to either Sword or Shield. For instance, Bea, the fighting Gym Leader, will be exclusive to Pokémon Sword. With a major and minor Pokémon League, Game Informer got informed there was going to be 18 or 19 Gyms in the game.

Of course, fans were excited about the prosperity of there being a gym for every type of Pokémon, though it turns out Game Informer was misinformed. Serebii shared the news of the information on its website and Twitter.

Game Informer received a correction about there being 18 gyms in Pokémon Sword and Shield. There will be the same amount of gyms in Sword and Shield as there were in past games. Almost all other Pokémon games have had eight gyms, which is probably the same amount that Sword and Shield will have. According to Serebii, there are 18 gyms within the lore of the game, split between the major and minor leagues.

This change will undoubtedly upset many fans, especially since many are still not over the other controversial decisions that Game Freak has made with Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Use The Gunsmith

You're going to have plenty of attachment and modifications available for your guns in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. These modifications are going to determine the unique traits of your weapon, giving your unique perks and stats to modify how effective it is in a particular form of combat. You can do all of this from the gunsmith tab in your inventory, without having to return to base or visiting a resting area.

How to Use the Gunsmith in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

You can access the gunsmith tab at any time from your main weapon's menu. To access it, go to your inventory and hover over any of your weapons found on the left side. When you're ready, hold the "G" button on the mouse and keyboard. Those who are using a controller are going to have a distinct button prompt pop up for your respective console. You're going to go into a different menu where you're going to see a larger, detailed screen of the gun's stats.

Related: How to Find More Blueprints in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

On the left side, you have the five stats that determine the quality of the gun and what makes it suitable. These five stats are Accuracy, Handling, Range, Mobility, and Recoil. We have a guide to explain what those statistics mean and what they do to the gun. In the middle, you have a variety of upgrades available to you. These are going to open up when you gain useful resources throughout the world. Later on in the game, you're going to gain access to more powerful weapons and gaining access to the higher quality upgrades. You're going to need to purchase the different Mark Upgrades from the skill tree.

On the right side, you have a list of different attachments and modifications you make to the weapon. You can change these to directly influence the weapon's stats, changing them to make the gun more suitable for how you want to use it. You may want to increase a sniper rifle's overall firing range, relying on the passive perks for your character to make this range even further, dealing more damage to foes. You can change a gun's Magazine, Muzzle, Rail, Scope, and Underbarrel. You find more blueprints in the world to unlock more attachments and guns to craft.

You can also change the weapon's customization options by pressing "C," on the mouse and keyboard. Those playing on a console or with a controller are going to need to use press the console's respective button prompt. You can see the button on the top right side of the Gunsmith screen right next to the word "Paint." When you click on paint, you can modify the weapon's overall color, or you can alter individual pieces of the gun.

You can access the Gunsmith at any time and level. However, you're going to get the most out of this from higher leveled guns because most of the lower level and starting game weapons are going to get thrown away. You're going to find better replacements frequently, and consistently visiting this portion of the menu is going to become tiring.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Review

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Review

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a massive game. You're going to get lost when you first few steps out of your haven location called Erewhon. You find the place shortly after the introduction of the game where you get shot out of the helicopter by the rogue Ghost agents who have taken over the Auroa island, led by Cole Walker. He's an ex-Ghost Agent with a chip on his shoulder for his comrades who died doing the bidding of others. You assume the role of Ghost leader Nomad who has a history with Walker, and it's your task to learn what happened to the Skrell CEO, Jace Skell, and take Walker and his wolves down.

The game offers a blend of unique tactic-based combat, full of lootable gear you're going to need to raise your overall gear level. Breakpoint takes a few notes from The Division 2, leaning on players wanting to get their gear level to go higher and higher. With plenty of ways to do so with a massive island of content and even more on the way, Breakpoint offers a satisfying journey with a few hiccups along the way.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint's Story

Unlike Wildlands, Breakpoint takes its time to develop the villain far more than making him out to be this evil entity. Walker is a sympathetic patriot who wants to do what he believes is right, even if it means getting his hands dirty. The Punisher's Jon Bernthal, who portrays Walker, can convey this through superb voice acting talent and the small gestures and huffs of frustration. There are low undertones throughout the story, and the writers spend their time making him out to be a person, and they do it well. It makes the ending far more satisfying, and it provides a lusher experience.

There are decent moments where Walker provides a rousing speech to your character while you progress in the story. It builds up with certain things going on through the game. It gives a brief exposition of the history between Nomad and Walker quite a bit.

Along the way, you're going to interact with several of the locals, uncovering the mystery of the island. Given the amount of time you're going to spend doing faction and side missions, the writers kind of skip over these moments a bit more. However, it's not too unexpected because the larger story is a bit bonkers. Regardless, the writers do well to make the small moments between your character speaking to the NPCs far more meaningful than in Wildlands.

Satisfying Gameplay

Players are not going to be talking about the story when they finish the game. They're going to discuss Walker, and what he stood for with some even leaning more towards him. Bernthal's acting stands out, and I'd love to see him play another video game character in the future. What players are going to discuss are the antics they and their friends get up to in the game.

All About The Multiplayer Experience

You can play the game entirely by yourself. It's what I did while I ran through the game, running through bushes and ambushing small groups of enemies while they patrolled in the inside of their base. It was fun, exhilarating, and it felt like I could take down an entire unit without any of them knowing I had ever been there. I felt like a Ghost agent, up until I got spotted.

When you get spotted, you're running as fast as you can to the nearest piece of cover and making sure you try to lose your foes. Unfortunately, in the age of high-class technology, you're going to find it challenging to blend into the shadows. You might avoid the enemy units, but they have drones patrolling the skies the entire time. You're going to run into Azrael Drones. These drones patrol the skies, ever vigilant and consistently locating you if you can't find a piece of cover or dive into a mud pile. When they find you, your position is compromised, and wolves are on the way.

Now, if you were to have three other friends with you, things might change it up. Most of the vehicles in the game benefit from having another person to sit in the gunner chair with another person driving. Even the passenger seats feel viable. When you're on the ground, you can have a sniper on the ridge pointing out and marking targets, making it easier for a handful of friends to sneak their into a base without anyone seeing them.

Breakpoint encourages you to bring in a couple of friends to play the game. You're not going to miss out by not having friends with you, though. You can certainly play the game start to finish without them, but you might feel like a handful of vehicle features are missing if you do or some situations force you to think a bit more on your toes. You certainly don't want to play the game on a higher difficulty without a few hours of experience under your belt by yourself.

Survival Gameplay and Adding Gear Levels

If you do get forced to run away from a position or have to roll down a hill to avoid detection, you've likely gotten fatigued or found your character severely injured. Thankfully, the game provides you with simple, easy to take care of tools to rid yourself of these problems. You can lose more fatigue by visiting one of the game's resting points called bivouacs, but you have a water canteen to get rid of parts of it. Refilling it is simple, and you're not going to find yourself spending hours wrestling with a low stamina bar.

Resting at a point

Do you have a critical injury? Don't worry. Because you're a skilled Ghost operative, you can handle it yourself and patch your body up real quick. But you're going to exposed, especially in a firefight. The critical injury mechanic makes it, so you want to think twice about taking on specific engagements. If you get in over your head and take a severe hit, you're going to need to find somewhere to heal yourself before the enemy closes in around you. Again, if you were to have friends, you'd have a pair of people covering you while you handled the bandages.

You're also going to locate resources throughout the game, but you don't have to spend too much time grabbing them. The Breakpoint team made a wise decision by having your character run over the pieces to add them to their inventory rather than making animation. It's an excellent quality of life piece I remember whenever I saw a resource piece pop into my inventory. It felt great, and if I ever needed to find any resources, I didn't slump in my chair going through the usual grind.

Some players who have stuck with the Ghost Recon series since the start might feel it extremely strange to find the game comes with gear levels. A player's Gear Level gets determined by an average total of all the gear pieces they're wearing. Players raise this number by looting new pieces of gear off of enemies, by looting gear caches they find in enemy territory, completing missions, and building new weapon pieces from blueprints they earn.

Overall, the gear system does build on the content of the game. Players have a visual goal and watching the numbers get bigger is satisfying. The best part about it is the world levels up with you. While select locations are always going to have a specific number attached to them, such as distinct Wolf bases around the island. But the average soldier is going to raise their level to match the players. However, some can quickly get around this by delivering a perfect headshot to a foe. This technique doesn't work on bosses or specific enemies, but players can take out an opponent with a quick shot to the dome. Sure, it may seem to make the gear level useless, but if you miss that headshot and you're now in the middle of a firefight, you're going to be glad you didn't rush to the end of the game to fight those high-level bases.

So Much To Do, So Little Time, A Massive World to Explore

Auroa is massive. There's no way to get around it. Luckily, you have plenty of methods to get around that make traveling useful. Additionally, the number of bivouacs in the game makes jumping from point to point quick and straightforward. You have the option to spend time in each part of the island, enjoying the scenery and taking everything in while you drive through it. But you don't have to do that. I did that a handful of times and was content to listen to the forest and avoid the patrols walking through the grasslands and roads. However, when I needed to get to a location, I could take a fast travel point at any time and made my way there.

The Great View

There were times I wanted to enjoy the environment. Breakpoint is beautiful. If you're a sniper, you can spend time looking through your scope at enemies or catch some long-off animal galloping through the forest or grasslands, kicking up dust in the middle of a gorgeous afternoon. I took a few moments to enjoy the sights, sitting down to relax after taking out an enemy outpost and merely relaxed with a cup of coffee. Running around Auroa was great, and the sights made it all the while more wonderful.

You may have to adjust the graphics for those playing on PC, but after you get the correct estimates, you're going to find some peace on an island full of war.

The Hiccups Along the Way

Not everything was fine and dandy during my time with Breakpoint. An important point some people are discussing revolving around the game is the number of microtransactions associated with, and how you can quickly gain blueprints for guns you'd otherwise have to earn. Because I had to earn all of mine, I never felt the microtransactions were a huge issue. For players who may not have the capacity to spend 40 hours a week to a certain game, and could maybe spend an hour or two a night, slowly playing with friends, it makes sense. The microtransactions are not a big issue because they're not going ruin another player's experience.

Yes, players who purchase a blueprint can build a gun and then take it into Breakpoint's PvP mode, Ghost War, but all of the stats go away. A player can have the absolute best weapon in the game, but if they don't know how to use it or make a simple mistake, another player fighting them with some of the starting guns they find are going to be able to take them out. The microtransactions are a choice, and if it helps players enjoy their single-player experience, more power to them.

The level of a time commitment the game calls for feels exceptionally daunting. Even with a full week dedicated to the game and covering it, there are plenty of things left to do and explore. For those who want to get their money's worth, Breakpoint has it. You're going to find enemies patrolling the game, making it difficult to traverse if you're going to level up some gear, and you're almost always going to get sidetracked.

I almost always diverted from my original path to do something else. I may have wanted to do a side mission, but I then discovered this small base with some potential intel I could use to find a new attachment or a new bivouac location to add to my fast travel list. There's quite a bit to do in the game, and gaining gear levels feels a bit like a chore. You're going to see the numbers steadily going while you play, and taking on stronger enemies is excited. But staying on task was tough.

PvP and End Game Content

You can bypass the main quest line of the game jump into Breakpoint's PvP games called Ghost War when you first arrive at Erewhon. There are not too many modes available at this time, with two standard modes, Elimination and Sabotage. It's a best of three matches. New players can fight it out amongst players who started way before them because all of the gear numbers go away. Players still get their weapons and attachments, but the levels don't matter. It's up to player skill and team tactics to win the day.

End Game Content

When wrapping up the game, there are still tasks for you to do, a gear level 150 raid available for players, and faction missions available who those who want the rewards. As I said, there's plenty to do in Breakpoint, and getting sidetracked comes with the territory of building a massive game. For The Division 2, it made sense, but at the launch of Breakpoint, some players may not know precisely what they want to finish first.

There's plenty of planned DLC, though. Ubisoft has their Year 1 Season Pass available right now, and it's going to add new story missions, gear levels, raids, and pieces of content every four months. If you're playing with friends now, get through the game, and drop off it, don't worry. You're likely going to return because you hear of a brand new raid challenge to take on. Ubisoft has become professionals in making their games lasting for their player base. Take as many breaks as you'd like because chances are you're going to return to the game and have a backlog of stuff to do, and it's exciting to think about.

Verdict

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a great game. It's going to take your time to chew through it, and you're going to struggle to know what to do first. You're going to sympathize with the villain, but the story won't stick around with you. The game is an exciting survival tactics game I want to play with my friends, planning out every step we take. I want to play the game where we crash through the front gates, taking out all of the enemies. I also want to sit on top of a mountain, marking foes for my friends to avoid or take out while they sneak into a base, providing covering fire with my sniper rifle.

There are several ways to go about playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and you're going to get your money's worth. Even if you drop off the game after a few weeks, you're going to have plenty to come back to. Ubisoft knows what they're doing to make a game satisfying and to appeal to their player base.

I cannot recommend the game enough for groups of friends who want to play games together. Breakpoint is a wonderful title and worthy notch in Ghost Recon's franchise.

Overwatch Director Wanted the Game On Nintendo Switch From 'Day One'Robert WorkmanThu, 10/03/2019 - 16:28

Blizzard’s Overwatch took its sweet time coming to the Nintendo Switch, roughly two and a half years after the system’s launch. But the team wanted to make sure that everything was right with the game. That said, game director Jeff Kaplan recently made it clear that he’s wanted to see a port of his game on the system for some time.
While speaking with The Verge, Kaplan explained that “Literally the day the Switch came out, we were thinking about it. I remember immediately talking to people around the office saying, ‘What would it take for us to be here?'”

We previously reported how the Switch version was in the works well over a year ago, with Iron Galaxy handling the port. But Kaplan mentioned how it was simpler to get another property, Diablo III: Eternal Collection, on the system first.

“It was much easier to get Diablo on the device than it was to get Overwatch,” Kaplan explained. “And, like everything we do here, we wanted to make sure to do it right. It was just a long process of figuring out how to handle the development in a way that we felt like we would be very proud of the end product.”

And then he concluded by discussing how Overwatch seems right at home on Nintendo’s hardware. “Nintendo games are typically very bright, very saturated, very hopeful; less realistic, more character-based. When you think of the Nintendo ecosystem and the types of games that are really popular, we felt like there’d be a one-to-one match with Nintendo players being attracted to Overwatch because of the aesthetic and the feel and the spirit of the game. It all felt like a great match to us.”

The full interview is over here.

Overwatch arrives Nintendo Switch starting Oct. 15. It’s currently available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Star Jon Bernthal Would Love To Play Little Mac In a Punch-Out!! MovieRobert WorkmanThu, 10/03/2019 - 16:50

Actor Jon Bernthal has been quite busy as of late. Aside from starring in popular shows like Netflix’s The Punisher and AMC’s The Walking Dead, he’s currently the lead bad guy in Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which releases tomorrow. But in a recent interview with Digital Trends, he revealed a role that he’d like to play – Little Mac from Nintendo’s Punch-Out!! series.

Bernthal talked about his love for 80’s video games, and the interviewer followed that up by asking which character he’d like to play.

“What I’ve been playing with the kids is Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!” he said. “Little Mac, he’s really small, but that would be really cool, I think – his rise up through the ranks.”

For those unfamiliar, Little Mac is the small but sufficient boxer featured in Nintendo’s previous Punch-Out!! games. The last one to release came out a few years ago for the Nintendo Wii, though a version of the arcade game is currently available through Arcade Archives on Nintendo Switch.

The actor continued, talking about how he would also be interested in doing a Castlevania movie. “I really dug that game, Castlevania,” he added. “I’m old-school, I’m probably aging myself here, that’s sort of the limits of my video game knowledge.”

And finally, he proclaimed his love for Bandai Namco’s classic Galaga. “If I see Galaga in the old-school arcade, it’s hard for me to pass that by – I’m still very much into that.”

While he doesn’t have any new video game projects as of late, fans can catch him in Breakpoint for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Oh, and Nintendo, give us a new Punch-Out!! We need it.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How To Use the Drone

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How To Use the Drone

Using your drone is critical in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. You're going to find it an invaluable tool, even as a sniper who finds the highest perch in an area to take out opponents one by one. You're going to use it to survey a base before taking it on, and this makes your job significantly easier, make sure you're not going to run into any surprises. Here's everything you need to know about using it.

How To Use the Drone from Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Luckily, the drone is not a set item you need to set up in your inventory like some of the grenades, bombs, and other passive abilities you can access. Every character has access to a drone. When you want to summon it, all you need to do is press "X," or click the button tied to your controller for your respective platform, and you're going to summon it. It's going to switch from your point of view to the drone's point of view.

Related: How to Change Items in Your Inventory in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

You can use the drone to ping respective enemies and scanner them, flying overhead. Pinging them creates a small marker above their head, and all of the information you're reading about them is going to get sent to your allies. You can use this to assist your partners who are stealthily moving into a base and attempting to take out any guards who might get in their way.

For those who want to get a quick survey of the area safely, you can treat the drone like a pair of binoculars. Any question mark you see in the distance can get scanned by the drone. All you need to do is focus its field of vision on it for a few seconds, and then you'll receive information about the location. You're going to need to get there to learn more about the layout and enemies, but you're going to get the name of the place.

You won't be able to use the drone up to great distances. You're going to lose connection if you let it fly too far away. You'll need to adjust your position, or the drone's, to stay close to you.

Unfortunately, you cannot use the drone to take out enemies or by calling allies as you did in Wildlands. Instead, you're going to need to use a separate item all together called the Sync Shot Drone, which we detail over here. You're going to need to spend a skill point to unlock it, too.

Make sure to optimize your drone and keep it above your enemies. If you let it linger too long or someone spots it, they're going to take it out, and then they're going to go on alert. Better make sure you're not too deep behind enemy lines when they discover it or else you're in trouble.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Fight a Behemoth Tank

The name says it all. If you're going to find yourself facing off against a behemoth tank in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you're going to need to a little creative. These adversaries are ruthless, and you're going to find yourself thinking twice about how to handle them whenever you encounter them in the game. No, they don't have anyone handling their controls. These pieces of state-of-the-art technology have dozens of files stored on their hard drive, full of programs to destroy you.

How To Fight a Behemoth Tank in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

These robots are significantly stronger than your standard machine running around the island. They're protecting the more challenging locations, and if you see one of these roaming around chances are you're about to stumble into an area with some fierce foes. When you scan over them, you're going to see what recommended gear level the robot is at. If you're not close to it, you may want to move or try your luck somewhere else. These things are not going to mess around.

There are a handful of tools you can utilize to take this beast down. The first is the straightforward EMP grenade. It's going to stun it for a few seconds, giving you time to line up a few shots against it, but it's not going to immobilize it permanently. If you're having trouble getting a few decent shots in on it because of its superior firepower or missiles, throw one of these at it to get a quick break.

Another item you're going to add to your arsenal is the rocket launcher and the grenade launcher under-barrel attachment. The rocket launcher is something you're going to acquire in a skill. If you don't have this skill unlocked, you're going to want to rely on using the under-barrel attachment. You're going to have to find this by exploring the map and speaking to the locals, gathering intel.

Hitting it with these powerful tools is going to chunk away at its health, but you want to use stronger weapons. If you're sniper, you want to use your talent's tank piercing bullets to give your allies, or yourself, an edge. You can fire these whenever your class technique fully charges. Those who are not sharpshooters are going to want to pull out their LMGs, Assault Rifles, and if you're feeling brave, shotguns. These weapons are going to hit the tank's armor hard, but it's going to take a while to destroy it.

When you're fighting the behemoth, it's going to fire missiles at your position at a consistent rate. You're going to see these show up indicated by a small red circle, likely around yourself. Run out of the ring to dodge them. You don't want to stay too exposed because the behemoth's turrets are going to lock on to your and immediately start firing, making short work of whatever gear you're wearing.

Overall, you want to keep a reasonable distance and utilize more of your tools and grenades than you may use in regular fights. The rocket launcher, EMP grenades, grenade launcher under-barrel, and mines are all useful. The mines may get a little tricky due to your need to get in close to plant them. If you're feeling lucky, and have a few friends with you, then you should be fine.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Increase Your Stamina

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Increase Your Stamina

Survival is your top priority in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The enemies on Auroa are not going to cut you any slack, and they're going to send you on a wild chase if they ever catch sight of you. You're going to find your character can't run forever, either. The best thing you need to do is optimize your stamina regen and ensure you're keeping track of it. If you ever lose sight of it, are have to go beyond your standard threshold, you're going to become exhausted. To make your life easier, you can also increase your stamina.

How to Increase Your Stamina in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

There are a handful of methods to do this in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The easier method to do this that every character can do is by visiting a bivouac for a rest. These are useful locations scattered throughout the game you can visit to remove fatigue from your character and gain passive buffs, along with crafting items or purchasing them from the in-game store. A passive you gain is going to increase your overall stamina bar by 20 percent. You're going to find this option under the "Preparations," tab while resting at the bivouac.

There are other methods, too. You can expand your stamina bar by going through the Survival skill tree and grabbing the Rations LV2 option. This skill is going to increase the passive effects of those under the bivouac. You can go even further with it by diving into the second Survival tree and grabbing Rations LV3, adding more time to them.

If you're finding yourself doing particular activities, such as running or climbing, you can focus in on particular passive skills to advance to give yourself less stamina use while performing these activities. However, to use more than one passive you're going to want to spend two skill points to grab the two skill slots at the bottom. These are going to expand your current skill tree, allowing you to have more than one activated at one time.

There you have it. To increase your stamina you're going to need to spend a little time playing the game and fine-tuning your skills, but you don't have to engage in any outside activities or challenges to make it happen.

The Classes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint and What They Do

You have four different choices when it comes to picking a class in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The four classes vary in combat style, and they're great for everyone to use in a group. Some of them are better suited for group-based playthroughs, though. Here's what the classes are in the game and what they can do.

The Classes of Ghost Recon Breakpoint and What They Do

The Assault

You're the front of the group. The face, but the face has a massive gun pointed at you. You're going to devastate your foes, and you're not going to take the sneaky or careful route about it. You want to be loud about killing your enemies because avoiding them is not your style. You want to hit them faster and hard. You can do it with your full arrangement of weapons. Your favorite choices are going to be assault rifles and shotguns, meaning you like to be up close.

  • Class Technique: Recoil reduction and damage resistance. Kills heal and extend the duration
  • Class Item: Gas Grenade - Throw an area of effect device to damage foes over time.
  • You're going to have more health.
  • You gain a bonus with assault rifles and shotguns

The Field Medic

You're going to find this class is pretty useful if you're going to be in the middle of a group. Should one of your teammates go down, it's your job to rush over to them and get them back up. That's not to say you can't be lethal when you're playing solo. You're always going to have the chance to bring yourself back to life should you get downed. If you want to remain stealth, you can carry bodies around and hide them before anyone notes.

  • Class Technique: Healing Drone - Heals and revives friendly teammates.
  • Class Item: Medkit - Hand-deployable device to heal injuries and gain extra health.
  • You're better at reviving.
  • You can carry bodies faster.
  • You can self-revive yourself.

The Panther

You are the definition of stealth. You're going to sneak up on your enemies and surprise them before they know what to do with you. Take them out quickly and effectively in pure silence. You're likely going to lead the group into the heavily-guarded compound by taking out foes left and right. You're going to find the shadows are your friend and they never disclose your location, not unless you want them to do so.

  • Class Technique: Cloak and Run - Disappear behind a smokescreen.
  • Class item: Cloaking Spray - You're going to become invisible to drones.
  • You gain a bonus to stealth.
  • You have faster movement speed.
  • Your suppressors on handguns and submachine guns do not have reduced damage.

The Sharpshooter

Long-range is your jam. You're going to find yourself relying on mountains, hills, and sniper rifles as you pick off your foes one by one. If you're smart about it, you can eliminate a single enemy who wandered off too far from the group without anyone else knowing. While sniper rifles are your ideal choice, it's not a bad idea to carry an assault rifle or submachine gun to support yourself when you engage the enemy.

  • Class Technique: Armor Buster - high-penetration bullets with bonus damage and muzzle velocity.
  • Class Item: Sensor-Launcher - Marks enemies in a large area.
  • You can hold your breath longer, looking down sights.
  • You have a bonus to sniper rifles and DMRs.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Multiplayer Modes and What They Are

Multiplayer modes are a big thing for games that want to stick around for a long time. You can engage in some online matches while playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint, too. They're not as extensive as some of the other games Ubisoft has developed, but it's a good start. These multiplayer modes are available when you first get out of the initial cutscene and start the game. You can find the Ghost War menu on the Objectives Board in your main menu.

Multiplayer Modes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Elimination

This mode is your primary four vs. four-player team deathmatch. You're given a large map to fight the other four-player team in, and you have to traverse the map the entire time. Your goal is to eliminate the enemy team before they can eliminate your team. You can do this twice, winning the best of three rounds. There's a shrinking combat zone in the game, forcing players to engage each other die outside the zone. It's similar to the rings found in battle royale matches.

Related: How to Play Ghost War in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

There are six different maps for the mode. The combat zone is going go in random places in the map, forcing players to think differently each time they enter the map, despite how many times they may have played it. There's a surveillance system that pops up during the match, giving a team the ability to find out where their opponents' locations. Players are going to need to choose how they handle the combat, leaning on player skills and communication.

Sabotage

Much like Elimination, players are going to have two teams of four fighting it out. However, there's going to be a distinct 'attacking,' side, and a 'defending,' side. Those defending are going to need to protect two different bomb locations. The attackers are going to need to sneak around to these locations to try and plant a bomb.

If one of the bombs goes off, the attackers win. It's a best of three matches. It's a game of cat and mouse where the attackers need to be a bit more aggressive, and the defenders need to make sure they cover both locations without spreading themselves out. Should the defenders spread out too much, they're going to get picked off.

We don't know if Ubisoft is planning to add more in more PvP modes to Ghost War, but it's likely. Given the popularity of the game and expanding it from a co-op experience, it would make sense.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Do You Get AI Teammates?

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Do You Get AI Teammates?

AI teammates have always been useful stable in the Ghost Recon franchise. When you've seen game demonstrations with Ubisoft, the main character, Nomad, has always had a squad of three other companions with him to make fighting the massive armor of Wolves significantly easier. Are you going to get the chance to jump into the game with a handful of AI allies who are going to watch your back?

Are There AI Teammates in Ghost Recon Breakpoint?

You're in for some unfortunate news because this time around you're going to find yourself on your own. You're not going to have access to any AI teammates in the game. You're going to need to rely on your skills or jump into a game with some friends who are playing on the same platform as you are. Some players might find it difficult to play the game with friends who are playing on different consoles. At this time, Breakpoint does not have any cross-platform capabilities available. If you're on PC, you can only play with those who are on PC. This goes for those playing on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

However, you're not going to find things are going to be too difficult for you to not do by yourself. You're going to need to be a bit smarter and clever with your tactics to take on some of the larger bases, though. These tasks are only going to be a little time consuming while playing the game because you're going against an overwhelming force. Those who are playing by themselves are likely going to want to want to stay to the easier game modes.

When I first played the game, I went up to the second hardest difficulty. I normally find myself enjoying the second hardest one, wanting a little challenge with my game mechanics. After a few times of getting my Ghost Recon Nomad behind handed to me, I figured it was better to go down the notch and continue playing the game.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is certainly a multiplayer game. You're going to want to jump into it with friends and explore Auroa together because those Wolves are hungry, and they're hunting you.

How To Make The Best Minecraft Potions

How To Make The Best Minecraft Potions

Minecraft is a massive game with many moving parts. Between mining for materials and slaying beasts, there is much to do. One of the lesser talked about, but very important aspects of Minecraft is potion making. Potions give you certain boosts and can take down your enemies to ensure you come out on top. They are temporary additions that can mean the difference between life and death.

To prolong the status of these, you will need redstone dust, while glowstone dust will upgrade the effect of certain potions while shortening the duration. For each of these potions, you will need to create awkward potions by using water bottles and nether wart. Once the awkward potion is complete, it is time to make the fun stuff by adding in the secondary ingredients.

Grab your brewing stand and water bottles because here are the best Minecraft potions.

Fire Resistance

Ingredients: Nether Wart, Magma Cream

Fire resistance potions are very useful for navigating the Nether safely. While you will still catch on fire, while the potion is in effect you take no damage from heat-based sources. Fire, lava, and ghast fireballs will not damage you. It is important to note that you will still catch on fire, but you won’t take damage from it. If the timer runs out and you are still on fire, you will take damage.

Nether

Slow Falling

Ingredients: Nether Wart, Phantom Membrane

Another common death in Minecraft is falling from a high distance. The potion of slow Falling makes it so when you are falling from any height, you will slightly flutter down. This potion is handy no matter where you are. There is always a good chance at some point you are going to take a risky jump.

Regeneration

Ingredients: Nether Wart, Ghast Tear

Potions of regeneration will refill your hearts after damage is received. It has a slower duration compared to most other potions but can be leveled up with glowstone dust or extended with redstone dust.

Healing

Ingredients:

Nether Wart, Glistering Melon (also Gunpowder to make it a Splash Potion)

Where regeneration will slowly refill hearts, a potion of healing will instantly recover multiple hearts. It is a useful potion when you are in a tight spot and need health fast.

Invisibility

Ingredients:

Nether Wart, Golden Carrot, Fermented Spider Eye

It doesn’t matter who you are; turning yourself invisible is awesome. This potion will turn your base character model completely invisible making it easier to sneak around mobs and other players. However, the potion will not affect armor or any items in your hand. To others, they will see floating items. To mobs, they will still notice you, but not as fast as usual.

Night Vision

Ingredients:

 Nether Wart, Golden Carrot

Night vision potions are useful for when you want to see dark areas better. When active, the potion makes everything appear well-lit no matter where you’re located.

Water Breathing

Ingredients: Nether Wart, Raw Puffer Fish

One of the most-needed effects for when you attempt to go into an underwater temple. With this, you will not need to worry about your air for three minutes. Eight minutes if you prolong it with redstone dust.

Underwater Temple

Strength

Ingredients: Nether Wart, Blaze Powder

Not putting out enough damage with your sword? Make a potion of strength to increase your melee damage!

Swiftness

Ingredients:

 Nether Wart, Sugar

If you feel you move a little too slow in Minecraft, be sure to make a potion of swiftness. The sugar high you get from this potion will allow you to walk and run faster.

Apex Legends Halloween Event Fight Or Fright Leaks, All The DetailsPaolo SirioFri, 10/04/2019 - 05:25

Apex Legends is preparing a Halloween event, which is likely going to launch over the next few weeks.

With many live service games out there, during this time of the year, developers and publishers ramp up to monetize people's passion for festivities. Halloween is one of those, so Respawn and EA are all in to join the party.

According to a leak, the Halloween limited-time event is going to be called "Fight or Fright." It's going to offer a revisited version of the Kings Canyon map known as Shadowfall. This version will get covered in darkness and will come with green-eyed Leviathans.

Related:10 things you didn't know about Apex Legends

The event will get hosted by "a mysterious figure known only as Revenant," a character that is likely going to be playable in the future. Dataminer Shrugtal shared this information.

"Solo Legends fight to the death but with a dark twist - when Legends die, they are reborn on the Shadow Squad, an ever-growing faction of dark Legends who return from the dead to haunt their living counterparts with increased mobility and brutal melee attacks," adds the leaked description.

"The last 10 Living Legends will join forces to try to escape while the Shadow Squad attempts to stop them at all costs."

It looks like Apex Legends is doing things rather seriously for Halloween. Are you interested in the event, and are you going to be playing it as soon as it pops up?

Nintendo Switch Pro Likely Fake Leak Hints At 2021 Release, 4K 60fps SpecsPaolo SirioFri, 10/04/2019 - 06:03

A rumor about a new model of Nintendo Switch has popped up on Reddit, reporting that the 'Pro' version could release in January 2021.

We're calling this fake for one specific reason. It claims the console would be able to run The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel in 4K and 60fps, which sounds a bit out of Nintendo's target. Even though that would happen in two years, and you would not expect anything different from a console releasing by that time.

The console would belong in the same Switch and Switch Lite family, offered as a home console only - so not switchable, not handheld only - and would come with these technical features:

  • Dimensions: 121 mm x 202 mm x 50.6 mm Weight: 398 g
  • Connectors: 2 USB Type-A ports (3.0), 2 USB Type-C ports, 2 HDMI ports, power supply socket
  • CPU / GPU: NVIDIA Tegra Xavier processor (custom)
  • System memory: 64 GB (SSD)
  • Connectivity: Wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.1
  • Video output: standard 1920 x 1080 resolution, FullHD [60 fps], maximum Ultra HD and 4K resolution
  • Audio output: linear PCM 5.1 stereo support, and 7.1 surrounds. Speakers: stereo USB ports: Type A (3.0), and Type-C Audio socket: stereo output Game card slots: only for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 game cards Power supply: AC 100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz

The price should be around $400, which would be in line with the higher specced Microsoft and Sony console currently around and incoming.

Again, this rumor comes from an unverified source. We don't believe it, even though it's worth noting that we're so far away from 2021.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Darkness Leaks Again, Gameplay DetailsPaolo SirioFri, 10/04/2019 - 06:15

We've already told you about a possibly fake leak on Nintendo Switch Pro, which would release in 2021 with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. However, there are more details.

According to the same leak, the sequel to BotW is going to be called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Darkness. We've already heard about it, and it's coming to the console with 4K and 60 frames per second graphics. These pieces of information are what make us hesitant about the rumor, though.

"A video demonstration was then shown with Zelda Breath of the Wild at 60 fps and 4K, running on a Switch 2 prototype, to members of the entire marketing department," says the leak.

"In addition, a short gameplay demo (about 10 minutes) of the new Zelda game, Zelda Breath of the Darkness, is also shown," it adds, for what matters the sequel.

"A battle is then shown where Link and Zelda fight together against a Dark Guardian in underground ruins, highlighting how Zelda helps Link by assisting him in the battle by protecting him with a dazzling light when he is in trouble and highlighting the enemy's weaknesses."

The follow up to Breath of the Wild would be coming at the launch of this new console in January 2021, and would be one of the first to show its potential. You can check more specs for the platform here, but bear in mind that this is still unconfirmed stuff.

Destiny 2 - How To Open The Locked Chests On The Moon

While patrolling on the new Moon destination in Destiny 2, you may have encountered some locked chest. These chests have hive crystals all over them and have no way to interact with them to open them. They do have three green symbols on the front, giving a small clue about what you need to do. In this guide, we will show you how to open the locked chests on the Moon.

Destiny 2 - How To Open The Locked Chests On The Moon

Locked Chest Symbol

When you find one of the locked chests, look around the immediate area that the chest is in. You should be able to find three small panels with corresponding symbols on them to the symbols on the front of the chest.

You need to shoot the symbols in the same order that they appear on the chest to open them. Once you do, you will get some fairly basic loot, so it only really helps if you are still leveling up to 900 Power.

The panels can be very well hidden, or hard to spot, so make sure you carefully search the surrounding area. The chests can also seem to appear and disappear for no obvious reason that I have been able to figure out yet, so if you return to a spot where you know you saw one, and it is no longer there, check back later, and it should show up again.

At the moment, I have no idea how many of these chests there are, or if unlocking them all gets you a special item or Triumph, but I am working to track them all down.

So there you go Guardian, now you know how to open the locked chests on the Moon in Destiny 2

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Microtransactions Removed As Not Supposed To Be In The GamePaolo SirioFri, 10/04/2019 - 06:34

Like any other live game, Ghost Recon Breakpoint has microtransactions for players to purchase cosmetics, and more.

This time around, anyway, it looks like something more was included in the game by mistake. The title consists of boosters that were supposed to be released only in the post-launch period. However, they instead came out upon day one.

Of course, the community read in that some pay to win mechanic and was highly disappointed, so Ubisoft had to issue a note to explain what happened before removing the microtransactions in question.

"We are aware that during the Early Access of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint on October 1st, some Time-Savers items (Skill Point bundles, XP Boosters, parts bundles for advanced weapon upgrades) were available for purchase for a few hours in our Store but this was not our intention and was an error on our behalf," said Ubisoft, via USGamer.

"These items were designed as an optional way for players arriving later to the game (Post-Launch) to catch up with those who have been playing for longer and enjoy our co-op and challenging end-game experiences. These Time-Savers have since been removed from our Store for now."

Luckily enough, Ghost Recon Breakpoint turns out being a somewhat balanced game, and something you can enjoy with your friends, as we noted in our review.

Destiny 2 - Where To Find High Conductor Sulmâkta

The Deathbringer Exotic Rocket Launcher can be gotten by finishing a very long, multi-step quest that you will get access to after you finish the main Shadowkeep story content. For one of the final steps, you need to get your hands on some bones and kill the High Conductor Sulmâkta. In this guide, we will show you where to find her.

Destiny 2 - Where To Find High Conductor Sulmâkta

Luckily enough, the High Conductor Sulmâkta isn't that hard to find, and you are even told the general location of where she will be, in the Scarlet Keep. To get access to the Strike, choose it from the main Moon map in your Director.

Once you get into the Strike, play through it as normal until you get to the giant elevator at the end. You will find High Conductor Sulmâkta on the second floor, to the left of the large door, which is also on the left. Once you kill her, you will get the part you need. It should be noted, you don't need to land the killing blow, and anybody in the Strike who needs this quest step when she dies will have it complete, even if they are not the one to land the final blow, but you will need to have done some damage to her.

For this quest step, you will also need a bone from killing a Bone Collector. These guys spawn in near the Anchor of Light, so go there to find him. The last bone you need can be gotten from any Public Event that occurs near the Hellmouth on the Moon.

When all three steps are completed, you will move on to the next part of the quest, which is basically to kill a whole host of Bosses, Majors, and Minor enemies. The best place for the first two is near Sorrow's Harbor, make the Nightmares spawn and take them out and all their minions, as they count as Bosses, and the Nightmare troops count as Majors.

So there you go Guardian, not you know where to find High Conductor Sulmâkta, best of luck killing her!
