Here's How Xbox Game Pass Titles Are SelectedPaolo SirioMon, 10/21/2019 - 06:04

From time to time, we fill these pages with lots of new titles getting into Xbox Game Pass as part of a monthly lineup of additions. But, have you ever asked yourself how those titles are selected to get in the library of the subscription service?

Finally, Chris Charla, the boss at ID@Xbox, has shared some more information about the process that allows titles to get included in that portfolio. And sure there's some thought poured down into it, since, as you might have noticed on mobile platforms, it's easy to fill a library like that with stuff people are not interested in or is just cheap.

"For us, when we look at what games to bring into game pass, we really just focus on… It has to be super fun," Charla said at PDXCon in Berlin, which has been hosted throughout the weekend, as reported by Twinfinite. "Typically, that also means they’re highly-rated. It has to be something that we think players are going to like and adds to the mix."

"We don’t want to have just all shooters, all platformers, or something like that. Because games always go into Game Pass and come out of Game Pass, we’re always looking to curate a really good mix so that at any time, it’s just going to be really fun."

To see with your own eyes the fruits of this process, you can check the latest entries in the Xbox Game Pass library, which also include Fallout New Vegas from the creators of The Outer Worlds, out in a few days on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Early Xbox One X vs PC Video ComparisonPaolo SirioMon, 10/21/2019 - 06:30

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be among the best looking games on PC when it releases on Nov. 5. It's coming to the Rockstar Games launcher, Epic Games Store, and a few other selected retailers. It's going to be available on Steam only in December.

We know about a plethora of enhancements and improvements that the developer intends to bring in this version. These changes are similar to what had happened in the past to Grand Theft Auto V.

It's interesting to note how those enhancements translate into something that we'll able to notice when playing on PC. That's something that YouTube channel Cycu1 helps us have a better understanding of thanks to a new comparison video.

In the video below, you can view an early comparison of the minimal footage from the PC version we've received thus far (a 4K60 cinematic trailer) — the Xbox One X release, which is the best looking edition of the game now available.

From the comparison trailer, which is inevitably harmed by YouTube's usual compression, we can note that the PC version has an improved draw distance and more vibrant environments. There are more defined grass and more flowers you can look at in the video.

For the full picture, anyway, we invite you to check the comparison video below.

How To Join A Clan In Warframe

Warframe Clans are collections of players who all work together to enjoy the game. Each Clan has a Dojo that members can build, room by room, to suit their own needs and style. Only Clans may have a Dojo, and it houses lots of essential resources for the Tenno who make up the Clan. The two most important aspects of the Dojo are the Research Labs, for access to new Warframes, weapons, and gear, and the Trading Post.

How To Join A Clan In Warframe

To join a Clan in Warframe, you need to be invited into the Clan. The Recruiting channel in the in-game chat is where to go if you are looking for a Clan to join. Clan reps are always in chat, looking for new people to join.

You can also set up your own Clan in the Communication menu. Just select Clan, then "Start your own Clan," you will be asked to name your clan, and then it will be set up.

Once you have an invite to a Clan, you will need to build the Dojo key in the Foundry before you can access the Clan Dojo. You will automatically have a Blueprint for the Key when you get the Invite and accept it.

The clan's come in different Tiers, depending on the size of the Clan.

  • Ghost Clan - 10 members
  • Shadow Clan - 30 members
  • Storm Clan - 100 members
  • Mountain Clan - 300 members
  • Moon Clan - 1000 members

Research costs for new weapons and equipment in the Labs will differ depending on the Clan size, with the smaller Clans needing fewer resources than the larger Clans. Once a Clan has an item or weapon thoroughly researched, you can head to the relevant Lab and purchase a Blueprint for it using Credits. All Clans will also have a Clan Emblem that you can equip in the Appearance section of your Arsenal.

How To Open Void Relics In Warframe

How To Open Void Relics In Warframe

Warframe is all about becoming more powerful, getting access to new weapons and Warframes, and taking out hundreds of enemies in missions. Prime weapons and Warframes are the cream of the crop, and to get them you need to farm, and open, Void Relics. You get Void Relics by performing missions in-game. The Relics drop as rewards at the end of tasks or rotations in extended missions. To open Void Relics, you need to run a particular type of mission.

How To Open Void Relics In Warframe

Void Fissures

To open Void Relics, you need to run Void Fissures. These are in the Navigator screen, in the top right-hand corner. These lists any active Void Fissure missions currently in the game. The missions will have different levels of difficulty, depending on the Relic that you wish to open.

As you can see above, the Capture mission for Meso Relics is Level 17-19, while the Hive mission for Axi Relics is Level 37-39. Just click on the mission for the type of Relic you wish to open.

Relics

The next screen will ask you to choose exactly which Relic you want to open, and you will need to equip it for the mission. Each Relic will show a list of the parts that it contains and the rarity of those parts. Common is the most likely to drop, with Rare being the least likely to drop. You can, if you wish, infuse Void Traces into the Relic to increase the chances of the rarer items dropping.

Void Traces

When you load into the mission, play through it as usual, and make sure to kill the enemies that have golden energy around them. These can contain Void Traces, which you will need to pick up. You need to pick up 10 Void Traces to open the Void Relic, so finish the mission, making sure you farm up all 10 before Extraction.

Warframe Relic Contents

When you extract, the contents of all the Void Relics from everyone in the mission will show up[ on screen, and you will be able to choose which item you want. The name and rarity of the item displays, and if in doubt about what to choose, it is nearly always best to pick based on rarity.

If you are looking for a specific item from a particular Relic, you are best served by going to the Recruiting channel in chat, and looking for what is called a "Rad Share." Players will all upgrade their Relics to Radiant using Void Traces, to give the best chance at getting the Rare drop, then run the mission together as a group. This will dramatically decrease the length of time it can take to get the Rare items and components.

When you are in Recruiting chat, be clear about the Relic you wish to run, and the level you want to farm it at so that people can quickly know if they're going to join you in the run or not.

Borderlands 3: Bloody Harvest Releases October 24 and Goes Until December 5Zack PalmMon, 10/21/2019 - 10:20

Borderlands 3 is going to have its first seasonal event kicking off here pretty soon. The Bloody Harvest is going to be the game's Halloween-based event, and we've heard a few details about it for the past few weeks. Now, we know Bloody Harvest is going to release on Oct. 24, and it's going to last until Dec. 5. Players are going to have plenty of time to explore the newest content to hit the wacky loot and shooter.

Here are the direct details 2K shared in their press regarding Borderlands 3's Bloody Harvest:

Do you feel that chill running up your spine, Vault Hunter? It must be the call of Bloody Harvest, the first free seasonal event for Borderlands 3! Today we’re excited to announce that Bloody Harvest will run from October 24 through December 5.

To get your first taste of Bloody Harvest in action, feast your eyes on this brand new trailer. If you haven't already heard, this supremely spooky in-game event features tons of fresh content, including Haunted enemy types, the Terror combat mechanic, a new unique Legendary weapon, and a new boss fight against the fearsome Captain Haunt. If you manage to survive the creepy challenges of Bloody Harvest, you can earn cosmetic rewards, including Vault Hunter skins, a weapon trinket, and more.

Players are going to have the opportunity to check out some brand new skins for their favorite Vault Hunter, fight brand new enemies, and a new boss. For those, a little worried, Bloody Harvest is a free update. It's the first free update set to hit the game. However, there are upcoming pieces of content that players are going to need to prepare to pay for, but those are in the future.

Bloody Harvest is going to open up a brand new haunted location called Heck area. Players are going to have to deal with a new mechanic called terror, which the haunted enemies can inflict on Vault Hunters. To access the new area, players are going to need to complete the game enough to have arrived on the ship, Sanctuary III.

Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest content update goes live on Oct. 24, and you can play it and run through the new content until Dec. 5.

The Outer Worlds Global Release Schedule

We're looking forward to an exciting week full of game releases with CoD: Modern Warfare and The Outer Worlds coming out on Oct. 25. The games are sure to sit well with their respective crowds. We have a multiplayer-heavy title with plenty of shooting, with an exciting RPG-action adventure from Obsidian Entertainment, the creative minds behind Fallout: New Vegas. Many have walked away from The Outer Worlds with a great deal of enthusiasm. When are you going to get the chance to get your hands on the game?

The Outer Worlds Global Release Schedule

The release schedule for The Outer Worlds is broken up into two timelines: PC and Console. For those who want to get in on the action immediately, you may have wanted to lean into the PC release. However, those who are on console do not need to wait too long to jump into the game; it's only a few hours. While it may matter for those who go into the multiplayer release of a game, there's no multiplayer or cooperative mode in The Outer Worlds, so this is not a factor.

Here's the PC release global release break down for The Outer Worlds.

PC Global Release Time Schedule

You can see it's going to get broken up across the globe, but it looks like The Outer Worlds is going to release at roughly the same time across the world. Those who are on the west coast of the United States are going to get the chance to have the most time to play it while they're awake, so lucky them.

However, it's not as broken up for the consoles section. Here's what it looks like for the game if you're playing on a console:

Console Release Time for The Outer Worlds

In all areas, except for the west coast of the United States, it's going to unlock at midnight. However, when it hits 9:00 pm PST, it's going to open because it's going to be midnight for the east coast. They're going to get it at the same time, so if you're on the west coast of the United States, you do luck out again.

Overall, it's going to depend on what version you're playing on if you get the chance to play it early or not. The Outer Worlds does not have any way for players to pre-order the game to play it a few days early, so everyone is going to get to play it around Oct 24 to the 25, when it's supposed to release.

You still have time to pre-order The Outer Worlds if you want to, or you can play it by having access to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate edition subscription. If you played Gears 5 with it, you should have access to it still.

More Diablo 4 Details Hint at Game Finally Getting AnnouncedZack PalmMon, 10/21/2019 - 10:42

For the past few days, many Blizzard fans have remained hopeful about hearing the latest details regarding the release of the eventual Diablo 4 title. While Blizzard has remained hush-hush on the subject, others have not. We talked about it getting leaked in some new artwork, and now we have a much better look at some images from the German Gamestar Magazine.

You can check out those images below. They come from a tweet from a subscriber to the magazine who shared them from their Twitter page.

If you get a better look at the first image, with the test to the left of it in red, you can see Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III, and Diablo IV getting referenced in the first sentence. The post adds another layer to the eventual announcement Blizzard is likely going to have on Nov. 1 at BlizzCon 2019. Despite seeing it referenced and hinted at everywhere, we don't have too much information beyond it coming out at some point.

The new game could have an updated loot system, combat, classes, or there's likely going to be a new twist on the story in the Diablo universe. When Blizzard does make their announcement, it's going to go either way. Some fans may get super excited about it. Others may still have feelings regarding Blizzard's recent stance in the political news, or even how they handled the Diablo mobile game announcement from last BlizzCon.

At this time, we still have no official announcement about the game's official release. We do know it's a thing, and Blizzard had planned to announce something about it during BlizzCon 2018. However, it had changed so much throughout the game's development, and they did not want to pull the trigger on it and overly excite their fanbase. But it might be what the fans need right now, to build some goodwill, and attempt to recover.

Stay tuned for BlizzCon 2019, which is going to happen from Nov. 1 to the 2. We're likely going to get some information Diablo 4 during that time, and we're going to see if Blizzard has any plans for an Overwatch 2.

Upcoming Steam Sale Dates Have Been Leaked, So Start Saving That Cash NowAidan O'BrienMon, 10/21/2019 - 11:29

Steam Sales fall into the same category as death and taxes. You know that they are all coming, eventually. Steam Database has leaked the data for three upcoming Steam Sales, which such narrow time frames between them that you will think the middle one could have gotten dropped.

Up first is the Halloween Sale, from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. The Autumn Sale will swiftly follow this from Nov. 26 until Dec. 3. Then, to wrap up the year, the Winter Sale, from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2, 2020.

I am getting the feeling that the first two will be themed sales around specific types of games, while the end of year Winter Sale will be a larger affair, more in line with what you expect from a Steam Sale. It is impossible to tell for sure, but that is the only way the tightly packed group of dates makes any sense to me.

Steam Sales are the time of year when various developers and publishers compete for your hard-earned dollars by slashing prices, and there are always some fantastic bargains. If you have been humming and hawing about buying a game, the Steam Sale is usually the time to do it, as you will rarely find better prices.

When the sales hit, we will provide you with some helpful lists of absolute bargains on amazing games, so if you need some help deciding on what to get, keep an eye on the site over the coming weeks.

Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween Event Starts Now, Details RevealedDylan SieglerMon, 10/21/2019 - 12:24

The Halloween event for Call of Duty: Mobile got detailed in the official Activision blog. Fortnite: How to Get Mythic Goldfish and What it Does

Fortnite has plenty of surprises in the game, and Epic Games loves to throw curveballs at their audience members whenever they have the opportunity to do so. They did it when they transitioned to the Chapter 2 update when they had the game in a black hole. Now, they're doing it with the new fishing mechanic in their game. Players who are lucky enough have the chance to catch a Mythic goldfish, which is going to make them stand out. Here's how you get the golden fish and what it does in the game.

How to Get The Mythic Goldfish in Fortnite Chapter 2

Is the item even in the game? Some players had thought it had not gone into the official release of the game, and it was going to come out in a new hotfix or a patch. However, we know it's in the game at this point. You can check out in action in a Reddit post by BlakeBenbow. They show footage of them getting hit by the Mythic goldfish and getting placed in 11.

Here's the full video:

I was eliminated by a mythic goldfish! I thought it wasn't in the game yet! from r/FortNiteBR

How does someone use the golden fish? To use the Mythic Fish, it's a throwable item. You're likely going to treat it like you would a grenade, so you're going to need to work on your aim perception and make sure you hit the target. If you miss, you might be out a weapon, and it could only have a one-time use, or you need to pick it up after you throw it and take someone out. If you check out the video above, you can see BlakeBenbow went down immediately after getting hit.

How are you going to go about getting this fish? Unfortunately, it's going to be a grind and plenty of randomness on your side. You're going to need to fish for it like you would any other fish or weapon in the streams. Because it's such a powerful weapon and it's a rare drop, you're going to go spend a lot of time fishing in the game looking for it, and you may take a great deal of time to catch one.

For those who are willing to bite their tongue and concentrate extremely hard on fishing in the game, you'll get the most chances to see it for yourself. Keep fishing for as much time as you can during your games, and you may come face to face with the mythical item in the future. You get an achievement for getting killed by it, so you may want to hope your enemies have better luck than you do.

Good luck attempting to find it, Fortnite players. There's a lot of random chance tied to this item, so keep trying to fish and spend time reeling in all the catches you can hook on your line.

CoD Mobile: How Many Kills for Nuke Killstreak

CoD Mobile is a pretty straightforward experience for mobile players who are interested in jumping into the Call of Duty franchise. There's plenty of shooting, fighting, and the option for a battle royale if you get tired of Fortnite or PUBG when you're on your mobile phone. For those who are fans of the series, the concept of killstreaks is nothing unfamiliar to you. However, the developers typically detail out what you need to do to earn them. But there's a special one, a nuke killstreak. Players can get if they get enough kills during a single match.

How Many Kills for a Nuke Killstreak in CoD: Mobile

The first step to getting the opportunity to use this killstreak is getting to level 20. When players get to level 20, they receive a notification they now have the option to use the nuke killstreak during one of their matches. They do not need to equip it like they would with the other killstreak options they can have in the game. Every player has the opportunity to earn a nuke killstreak. Why give this much power to everyone? Because of how difficult the next portion of using the killstreak is going to be.

Related: Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween Event Starts Now, Details Revealed

When you're level 20, the next step to using the nuke killstreak is getting to 20 kills in a single match without dying. Whenever a player dies, the counter starts over, and you have to work your way back through the killing field to try and survive to see it through. When you reach 20 kills using a single life, a small icon pops up on your screen, giving you the option to fire it off. When you do, it's going to kill everyone on the enemy team, unless they're already dead when it hits.

This killstreak is going to take out the enemy team. However, unlike the previous Call of Duty games, this is not going to end the match automatically. Instead, it's going to keep everything going, and you still need to complete the game. Since you were able to rack up a 20 plus killstreak, you and your allies are likely doing exceptionally well in the match. So things shouldn't be too difficult to wrap up. But the enemy team still has the chance to pull through and try to make a comeback, but this is unlikely.

When you see it in your game, you're going to want to rush for cover. There's not much you can do if the enemy team hits you with it, and if you or one of your allies send it off, you're going to keep fighting and continue winning.

CoD: Mobile is out right now, and you can check out the latest activities going on in the game.

China bans PewDiePie following Hong Kong referencesAdelaide WeissMon, 10/21/2019 - 13:50

PewDiePie’s channel gets banned in China.

China banned the biggest name in YouTube gaming, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg. First reported by Polygon and Deadline, PewDiePie’s channel and content disappeared following references to Hong Kong in a video. PewDiePie celebrated his channel’s 100 million subscriber milestone, making him the largest independent YouTuber in the world and the second-largest YouTube channel. Most of his viewers are in the United States, but fans exist all over the world, including China.

China and Hong Kong have been rising tensions in the gaming community since Blizzard banned Hearthstone champion Blitzchung. This action sparked protests from even the most loyal Blizzard fans. Memes of Mei supporting Hong Kong and renewed references to Winnie the Pooh saw an upsurge. PewDiePie, not often one for politics, posted a video that joined in on the Winnie the Pooh meme, comparing the leader of China’s appearance to the lovable, plump bear. PewDiePie also voiced his support for South Park and their criticism of China’s actions.

Following the comments, China blocked all content related to the streamer, including YouTube content and Reddit.

The ban didn’t surprise the YouTuber. PewDiePie is quoted in both Polygon and Deadline, stating that he knew to comment on Hong Kong would get him banned. A German DJ got banned in China after liking a South Park tweet, of course, saying on it directly would get him banned.

Chinese fans have confirmed that his content is inaccessible under “normal means,” according to Polygon, but reuploads are on other websites.

Destiny 2: How to Reset Your Valor

Destiny 2 is all about hitting the heavy grind, and that has not changed with the introduction of Shadowkeep. But the grind is considerably more fun, with a lot going on in the game. For the past week, Iron Banner has been going on and you still have time to finish up the Scour the Rust quest. During your time playing the game mode, you may have reached the peak amount of valor you can gain in the Crucible. Here's how you reset it to start over and gain a powerful item.

How to Reset Valor in Destiny 2

You're going to see the notification following the end of an Iron Banner, Crucible, or even a Gambit Prime match. Resetting your valor in any of these respective modes works the same, so keep this in mind for whatever player-vs-player mode you're going through at the time.

Related: Destiny 2 - All Chalice Recipes for The Menagerie

When you receive the notification to reset your valor, you need to do so by going to orbit. However, you need to also not be in a group at the time. If you are, drop your fireteam and go into orbit. When you're in orbit and on your own, return to the main game mode screen you're on, for example, if you gain valor in Crucible, go here:

How to Reset Your Valor in Destiny 2

At this time, I have not reached enough valor to start over and go up a rank. But when you are, check the upper-right portion of this screen, and you'll see the option to reset your valor. Hold this button for a few seconds, and it should charge through the option. When you're finished going through it, you're going to receive a brand new and powerful item in your inventory. It should be better than anything else you're wearing at the time, so it's another great way to gain more light levels in Destiny 2.

Remember, this method works for Crucible and Gambit, and the process is the same. The biggest thing to remember is to drop your fireteam. You cannot reset your valor when you're playing with others, so let your team know you need to reset and you drop. It's a quick process, so you should be able to join back up with them before they jump into a new game, if they're nice to you.

That's all you need to know about resetting your valor in Destiny 2. Hopefully, you're enjoying the new game with Shadowkeep.

Tetris 99 Weekend Event Features Luigi's Mansion 3 In-game Theme, Starts Oct 25Zack PalmMon, 10/21/2019 - 14:52

Tetris 99 is a fun time if you're looking for a basic battle royale and a location to test your Tetris skills. It's also a fun way for Nintendo to get into the holiday spirit of Halloween. The development team is going to have a brand new theme for players to win over the weekend with Luigi's Mansion 3 event starting this weekend. The fun begins on Oct. 25 and goes until the 28.

At this time, we don't have an image of the theme, but it's likely going to modify the entire screen to look like the horror-filled mansion of the game. This event is the eighth Maximus cup Tetris 99 has had, which features a new theme and a new round of competitive Tetris action for players who are eager to test their skills against others online.

To take part in the event, players need to win over 100 event points throughout the weekend. How do you earn those event points? All players need to do is play an online game during the event, and they're going to rack up points based on their performance of their matches. The better they do, the more points they're going to earn to make it easier to get Luigi's Mansion 3 theme.

For those eager to take part in the event, you do need to have access to Nintendo's online subscription service. If you don't, you won't be able to jump into the game.

Make sure you log into the game over the weekend to take part in the event. It likely won't take players too many games to get their hands on this theme, but it's going to be plenty of fun for any Nintendo fan excited about the release of Luigi's Mansion 3, which is going to come out for the Nintendo Switch at the end of the month of Oct. 31.

Call of Duty: Mobile - How to unlock the Sparrow

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Halloween event is live, with new missions, maps, and weapons. Much of the content is straight from Call of Duty: Black Ops, including the Sparrow. The Sparrow is a powerful compound bow that is as lethal as a sniper rifle, and worth the hoops you’ll have to jump through.

The Sparrow is a compound bow with explosive arrows that, according to the Call of Duty Wiki, increase in force the longer the bow is drawn. It appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Online. Now it’s making a return for Call of Duty: Mobile. In Black Ops III, the Sparrow was always an instant kill, regardless of the draw strength. After killing an enemy the arrow would explode in a small, but lethal radius.

Part of the Halloween event includes the Operator Skill: Sparrow event. Most of the tasks for the event include playing on the Halloween map, Standoff.

How to unlock the Sparrow:

GameZebo wrote a detailed guide on the topic. Unlocking the Sparrow isn’t complicated so much as time consuming. It follows a Destiny 2 approach where players must complete certain types of matches on specific maps or game modes in order to unlock part of the weapon.

GameZebo states the steps to unlock the Sparrow are:

  • Standoff: Kill ten enemies in Team Deathmatch

  • Standoff: Kill 30 enemies in Team Deathmatch

  • Standoff: Kill 50 enemies in Team Deathmatch

  • Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer

  • Use Operator Skills two times in multiplayer

  • Use Operator Skills four times in multiplayer

  • Kill six enemies in multiplayer with an Operator Skill

  • Kill ten enemies in battle royale

  • Play three battle royale matches

  • Log in five days total

Standoff is the new map imported from the Call of Duty: Black Ops games. It’s a little spookier than usual with some Halloween decorations like pumpkins all over the place, and set at night.

GameZebo adds that you will receive small rewards with every two tasks you complete.

The event runs from October 21 to November 1, giving players plenty of time to complete each of the tasks. Most of them are simple and can be completed with only a little time out of your day.

Pokemon Go: Base Stats

Every single Pokemon has a starting point. These are known as Base Stats, and from here even the tiniest, most weak of Nintendo's creatures can grow into a bad-ass. They're all based on the core series from Generation VI, from what I can tell during the research I've conducted for this guide, and the actual way that each Pokemon gets their unique numbers is enough to hurt anyone's brain.

If you want to go more into depth and see just how it's all figured out, then I can highly recommend this article. But trust me, you're going to need to understand the math I can't even begin to comprehend. If, on the other hand, you're quite happy to look at a list of all the Pokemon in-game and see what their stats are, then this is the guide for you.

The Outer Worlds Perks Guide - Different Tiers and What They Do

What kind of character do you want to play in The Outer Worlds? A lot of choices you're going to make in the game determine your playstyle. You're not limited to talking to other characters, but to the perks, skills, and attributes your character is going to define how you play them. Perks are passive buffs that are going to change the different qualities of your character while you play. Here are all of the perks available in the game and what they do.

The Outer Worlds Perks Guide

The perks come in different tiers. These different tiers determine the quality of the perk of what you're going to use in the game. Of three tiers available, the first series is going to help you out in the beginning, and you can easily access them when you're playing. The third tier, on the other hand, requires you to unlock at least ten lower-tiered perks before picking any of those.

Battlefield V's War In the Pacific Set For Reveal This WeekRobert WorkmanMon, 10/21/2019 - 16:18

Fans of Battlefield V have been awaiting new content for the game since DICE nixed plans on the competitive five vs. five mode. Well, they’re about to get it.

A new tweet was posted on the Battlefield V Twitter account, confirming that a “full reveal” of the new War In the Pacific expansion will take place on Oct. 23. A teaser video is viewable below, giving players a slight idea of what kind of war they’re in getting ready to play.

There’s no release date on the expansion. But early details indicate players will be able to fight across three new maps in the game, along with choosing between U.S. and Japanese factions. The expansion is also likely to introduce several weapons and gadgets, though exact details aren’t confirmed just yet. This expansion may also include vehicles, including specialty boats.

This content is part of DICE’s current movement to “focus on improving the quality of the experience” of the game, following the controversial cancellation of the previously mentioned mode above.

Fans that want to tune in to the War of the Pacific can do so here on the game’s official YouTube page. We're going to learn more details on Oct. 23 at 9am EDT when DICE reveals more information, which should make quite a start to someone’s day out there.

We’ll bring you full details as soon as they’re available, including a potential release date, which could be before 2020. Fingers crossed!

Battlefield V is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

GO Battle League Is Coming To Pokemon Go In 2020Misael DuranMon, 10/21/2019 - 16:19

Niantic has announced that a Pokémon Go League will be coming to the game in 2020.

At this moment, Pokémon Go players can battle their friends in Pokémon battles to see who is the very best there is. Niantic is going to include a new feature called the GO Battle League, which allows players to challenge other trainers from around the world.

This new feature encourages trainers to walk around and explore their surroundings. It's similar to how the main gameplay mechanic of Pokémon Go works; the chief mechanic in Go is about walking around and capturing Pokémon on your phone. To gain entry to the GO Battle League, you need to walk around with your phone physically.

In this Battle League, players can compete in online matches against gamers from other parts of the world. The official statement on the Pokémon Go website states that players can “rise in the ranks of the league.” The wording makes it seem as if there will be a ranking system for this Battle League. It possibly suggests there will be scores for players to keep track of when they play. It could also be a figure of speech, and the Battle League will be more a tournament-like feature in the game. Players will get the chance to compete with opposing trainers in a series of matches to determine who the best of the best are. It is also possible that only trainers with a specific ranking can officially compete in the Battle League.

The GO Battle League is expected to come to Pokémon Go in early 2020.
